We recently used Harlequin Home Improvements to install a wood burner at our home. Graham was contacted to provide a quote and advice on the installation of a wood burning stove in our lounge. He was knowledgeable and provided general advice about the type and style of stoves to consider as well as the fire surround. Graham responded to all my queries with phone calls and emails. Graham installed the stove after opening up the chamber in the chimney breast, fitting a new lintel and fire proof surrounds. His workmanship is very good and everything was clean and tidy at the end of each day. I am very pleased with the final result. Graham returned a few weeks later to fit the beam above the fireplace. I will be asking Graham to return next summer to 'service' the stove and chimney.

We wanted a log burner to fit into a small fireplace. Graham opened up the chamber and installed the new log burner without fuss, mess or inconvenience. We are extremely please with the professional installation and the products used.

We needed a replacement Woodburner and a friend recommended Graham Dickenson from Harlequin Home Improvements to us. Graham came to assess what we needed and was very helpful in offering us advice about which Woodburner to have, how to deal with safety issues, etc. We arranged for him to fit the new Woodburner and modify are chimney appropriately. We are extremely pleased with the work he has done. He was very thorough and completed the work with minimum disruption. In addition, the cost of fitting the replacement Woodburner was very reasonable, and certainly cheaper than we had initially assumed it would be. He did an excellent job. We recommend him very highly.

I found Graham from Harlequin Home Improvements very helpful and professional. I am renovating an Art Deco house which only remaining original piece was the fireplace. I was keen to see my different options which Graham investigated and provided me with costing options that were within my budget. The work once agreed was carried out without any mess or fuss, I wouldn’t have realised they had been in if it were not for a wonderful and tested open fire, complete with Hestas certificate and a new chimney cowling which was in keeping with the property. Graham originally installed our log burner and has returned again to provide an excellent service. Always a good clean comprehensive job.

Graham spent a number of visits solving complex problems of warped doors, replacing seals, fixing latches and generally cleaning and refitting the burner so that it is as new. Graham was always polite, thorough, clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. I can not recommend him highly enough.
