Chris services our boiler and mother-in-law’s boiler. Has done for several years now. On this occasion he came to fix a leak from mother-in-law’s boiler. He came prepared with the necessary part and finished the job quickly without any fuss. Would happily recommend him.

We found Chris by recommendation from asking a friend who is a plumber but unfortunately not gas registered so was unable to replace our failing combi boiler. I phoned Chris and mentioned that my friend had recommended him, we agreed a date and time to come and have a look at the job involved, this he did and was spot on time even though he needed to travel the best part of an hour to get to my house. We spoke about what needed doing in detail and as myself being member of Which consumer I had already checked all the reviews on combi boilers so I new what make and model of boiler I thought would suite me best, Chris was more than happy with my top choices and the quotes to do the work followed a few days later to supply and fit. We accepted the quote and a few weeks later he arrived spot on time, in fact a little early, to carry out the work, he was with a mate as replacing a boiler is a two man job, unfortunately I can’t remember his name but he done an excellent job working alongside Chris, the whole job took them all day and they left about 7pm. They did come across a couple of unexpected problems, one being a cold water storage tank in the loft, something I didn’t mention because I thought it was normal, so that needed decommissioning and I asked if it was possible to re route the heating system drain off valve to exit directly through the wall to the outside, he done both of these without additional costs. if you need a heating engineer I highly recommend Chris

Chris has been our central heating engineer for a number of years, he has always gone above and beyond the call for help. We have worked together trying to resolve my initial central heating problems spending days trying to find a solution. He's not afraid to speak with the boiler manufactures to seek advice. Chris installed my replacement gas boiler and subsequently conducted annual services, contacted the boiler manufacturer when we had a recurring fault condition with our new boiler and recently replaced our household water pump. His charging rate is very reasonable, he's very approachable and listens to his customers.

We have used Chris for many years to service the boiler and do other jobs for my very elderly mother. Recently he fitted 2 towel radiators for her. He is extremely hardworking, reliable, honest and professional. We are very pleased with the finished result. I live in Norfolk but always travel to Essex if my mother has any workmen in her home, this is not necessary when Chris visits. I trust Chris 100% - very important in this day and age. After looking at local traders on which? I decided to ask Chris for a boiler service quote. I was very impressed how quickly he responded and his quote was fairly priced compared to others I had recieved. On the day Chris called me to let me know he was on his way and when he expected to arrive. He carried out a thorough check of the boiler installation and performed the required service. All work was carried out professionally and he answered all the questions I had. I was very impressed with the customer service provided and the invoice for the work was sent that night. Following our recent move and switch to LPG, our old engineer isn't LPG certified so we have had to start again with someone new. They came deal with us having no heating and review a new boiler installation. He was incredibly knowledgeable, accurate in identifying the valve motor control issue, rectifying this and giving excellent advice on boiler installation which will be carried out in the summer. I had a very old boiler that needed a lot of work, which Chris repaired, despite two other tradesmen saying that they couldn't fix it. When I eventually saved up for a boiler, Chris installed it last year and he was extremely professional and did a fantastic job. He came back to service the boiler this year and was again very well organised, friendly and reliable. Chris is a great guy who you can really trust to just turn up and get on with the job.
