Share our passion for wood burning stoves. Based in Bristol and servicing a wide area – including Bath – we supply and install a selective range of wood burning stoves including DEFRA approved and EcoDesign Ready models for use in smoke control zones such as Bristol and Bath.
We also design and implement vented heating systems using biomass boilers or boiler stoves, thermal stores and link-up systems. We do all the plumbing work ourselves from simply moving or replacing a radiator to complete central heating system installations.
We carry out all the building work required for your installation including plastering, brickwork and flooring.

The builders were clean, tidy and considerate and the finish was perfect! Will was quick to resolve a slight crack in the glass of the stove that was as a result of a manufacture fault. Will gave us excellent advice on the types and ranges of wood burner, surround, flue, building work and chimney installation. He allowed us to come to his building yard to choose a piece of oak to go above the wood burner and slate for the hearth. He gave us a fair quote and the final price was not changed. During the work all the floors were protected and the builders were very clean and respectful. Most importantly the final result looked great and was a great addition to the home.

We contracted Heart Woodburners to install a log burner in our front room. Throughout the process Will and his team were friendly, helpful and professional and a pleasure to deal with. The work was complicated by some additional, unforeseen building work to the chimney breast but this did not phase Al who was the lead builder and installer on our project. Throughout the construction process we were kept informed of progress and given options to choose from where these presented themselves, ensuring that we received the end result we wanted. Will's team were pleasant house guests for the 4 days that the work took. They were polite and communicative and did a great job tidying up at the end. Heart Woodburners were recommended to me through a family member and I couldn't fault them, would definitely use again and recommend to any family member or friend needing similar work done.

We chose a Mendip Stove from Firebox in St Werburghs and were introduced to Will who first did a site visit to check our fireplace and chimney. We ordered the stove and a slate hearth which Will and his friendly team installed for us. They carefully covered our new wood floor before starting and cleaned up afterwards. We also asked Will to provide a piece of slate for our windowsill which was installed at the same time. We are extremely pleased with our new stove - just waiting for some cold weather to use it! - and the slate hearth and windowsill look fantastic. Will gave lots of advice for use and maintenance of the stove and slate. We would highly recommend Heart Woodburners.

From the beginning, Will and his team made the process of getting a wood-burner installed straightforward. There was no hard sell, just a simple choice of the wood-burners that he knew would suit our size of fireplace, the size of the room and would be DEFRA approved and eco-friendly for our city location. The installation took a week as planned and they also were able to re-plaster our whole fireplace and build us a log store in another fireplace. They were professional, friendly, and they ensured we were kept in the loop through the whole process. A positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Will and his team did a really good job for us. We're very pleased with our log burner installation. His team were very friendly and were generally clean and tidy whilst working. They take pride in their work and I was happy to have them in my house. They work as a team, so the installation gets done quickly. They were very good value for money. They were also happy to answer questions and offer advice, but weren't pushy in trying to sell me something that I didn't want. I'd recommend these guys. They do other jobs as well as log burner installation (e.g. electrical works and roofing works), so it's worth asking if you have a few jobs to do so they can get them done in one visit.

We had a stove, flue, hearth and chimney pot fitted by Heart wood burners. Will was friendly and professional on his initial visit, giving good advice on what work was required and how long it would take. He gave an estimate of cost and an accurate quotation was sent by email soon afterwards. When we accepted the quote a date was set for work to commence and on this date Will and his colleague arrived promptly. All work was completed to an excellent standard and any mess was cleaned up afterwards. Once the stove had been tested Will gave advice on the use of the stove and tips for ongoing care of it. He has promptly responded to subsequent queries by email and seems genuinely committed to ensuring we are happy with the stove in every way. We are completely happy with all aspects of the work Will carried out and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
