The installer who handled my job for heat geek (Nick McPhee) was brilliant - knowledgable, flexible and happy to explain all the details of the job and look at options to arrive at a design I was happy with. The install itself went well, with my installer taking the time needed to get the details right and ensure I was happy and clear on how to operate the system. I'm really pleased with how my heat pump is performing so far.

Installation of a heat pump and associated work - upgraded cylinder, radiators, pipework and controls. We were kept up to date on progress from initial contact to final completion; the actual installation went quite smoothly and the team did their best to keep disruption to a minimum. Now the installation is complete we're very happy with our new heat pump.

We wanted an ASHP installed and carried out some research on the internet and YouTube, reviewing quite a lot of Heat Geek footage. This gave me the confidence they were the right people to engage to have an ASHP installed. I registered with them and they appointed a registered and trained installer who came and carried out a comprehensive survey, heat loss calculations and radiator selections. They then sent this to Heat Geek to verify and Heat Geek issued the quotation which I accepted. The installation was seamless, professional and the installation team were excellent. Heat Geek also warrant the installation which provides additional peace of mind. I would highly recommend Heat Geek to anyone who wants an ASHP installing without reservation.

I had an air source heat pump fitted, with a full refit of the heating system. The work was done on time, with skill and understanding of the system and how it worked. The design was done using Heat Geek technology and has proven to be sized perfectly to suit the house. The work was completed professionally and in the predicted time frame.

We approached Ovo Energy (our energy supplier), regarding the installation of an air source heat pump. (It was something we had been considering for a long time, along with solar panels to support it) Ovo Energy linked us with the group Heat Geek, which we checked out prior to making our decision In turn, Heat Geek linked us with one of their local installers called Kraken Heating and Plumbing who are located in Willington, Bedfordshire Shane from Kraken Heating and Plumbing completed a thorough survey at our home. This involved the taking of various measurements both inside and outside the property, in order to establish what equipment would be needed should we go ahead with an installation. No pressure was placed on us at all Heat Geek provided an estimate for us, guided us with deposit costs and kept us updated throughout the entire process At all times, we knew exactly where we stood and what to expect in the next stage Kraken Plumbing (Shane and Ollie) were amazing throughout the process, from start to finish. We leaned more about Heat Geek from Shane and the more we heard, the more impressed we became The standard of work during the installation can only be described as outstanding. We did comment that the pipework was so amazing, it was almost like a piece of art in a gallery! If asked if we would recommend the installation of an air source heat pump, via Heat Geek and their installers, the answer would be a resounding "yes"! We had previously seen many negative reports in the press, involving poor installations of air source heat pumps. We wanted to ensure reliability and an after-sales support network, if we decided to have a heat pump installed All that we were searching for has been provided in our package - Ovo + Heat Geek + Kraken Heating and Plumbing This type of set must surely be the way forward, rather than the ad-hoc poor installations which are reported so often in the press

We commissioned Liam from The Heating People who are part of the Heatgeek family to design and install an air source heat pump installation to replace our existing and aging gas boiler. Liam carried out a detailed heat loss survey which was the basis for the design of our heat pump system. This design was detailed and time was available to 'tweak' the design according to our preferences. Once the design was agreed and a deposit paid, a day was set for the start of the installation. This included installing a large diameter pipe from the heat pump to the newly installed insulated hot after tank and valves. The existing mixed size pipework was utilised with minimal changes and 6 radiators were replaced to achieve the necessary heat output. The team finished the work within the specified week with only the minor disruption necessary to access two pipe runs. There was a slight problem the system once activated and this was sorted out the following Monday. The system was commissioned with Valiant online controls which meant aspects such as timing, flow temperatures and heat curve could all be easily adjusted. Liam explained the system to us including how to access the various adjustments which might be needed in the light of weather conditions. Since installation the system has kept us warm and cosy ven during the spell I very cold weather srly in the new year. So far our tta energy consumption is down on previous years, having now disconnected from the gas grid. Liam and his team worked efficiently and carefully and we are pleased with the standard of their work.

I was looking for a well designed heat pump installation having already fitted underfloor heating during a recent refurbishment. My research led me to contact Heat Geek who have posted many useful videos on YouTube. The whole process worked really well in that I had all the backup and reassurance of the Heat Geek brand and performance guarantee but with the benefit of the work being carried out by experienced local company. At every stage I was impressed with the knowledge and expertise of the appointed installer, taking time to get the design absolutely right and installing to the very highest standard. The system has already proven to be very effective and highly efficient, meeting the performance guarantee made by Heat Geek. The upfront cost was higher than another quote from Octopus Energy but I was specifically looking for a very efficient install and I am happy with the result and the excellent customer service I received.

Heat Geek installed a new heat pump, hot water tank and radiators to replace an existing combi boiler. Initially a full site survey was undertaken which took approximately half a day and was extremely thorough. The engineers involved were very knowledgeable and friendly and I was pleased to hear that if I went on to agree the work they would also be doing the installation. The proposal and quotation was then sent to me after about a week following which there was a little debate as to the eventual location of the heat pump unit outside. Once this was agreed the work was scheduled. The installers and their team arrived as planned and took a full 5 days to complete the installation. They were very professional throughout, working from about 8am to 5pm each day. Everything was done with minimal disruption and mess and the end result is extremely neat and tidy. The installation team have been available since for any queries and have helped to monitor and adjust the heat pump settings remotely to ensure the system has worked effectively and efficiently post installation. I have been extremely pleased with the professionalism of the installers and am more than pleased with the final outcome. I would highly recommend Heat Geek to anyone looking to invest in a new heat pump installation.
