An excellent company offering quality work at reasonable prices. Dave Lawson in particular has extensive and expert experience. I have used them many times and their work has always been first class. Their latest work for me ( completed 15/06/23 ) was a new boiler installation in a BTL flat where the existing boiler needed replacing. Their quote was significantly less than British Gas and they had a “can do “ attitude to dealing with any issues. Overall excellent in my experience.

Dave came at the end of a long day's work to look at problems that we had with a valve and fixed it. Highly recommend this company.

Dave replaced our gas boiler and carried out some other alterations to the heating/water system. From the first survey to its completion the work was carried out with a high level of workmanship and we were very pleased with the completed task. Had new boiler fitted in June 2021. Very pleased with the installation and good standard of workmanship. Afterwards, several requests for quotations for additional work were never responded to and after one year, a further request to carryout an annual service, was also ignored. Good start - poor finish. Won't bother calling them again.

Dave came to provide the assessment and formulate the quotation. I was very impressed by his quiet air of confidence and pleasant personality. This impression of competence was fully justified by the detailed quote that followed and the work that followed this. Dave was always willing to answer my questions and listen to my preferences. Dave gave us good advice on where to locate our new boiler and I think we benefited a lot from his experience. He followed this up by carrying out the job very efficiently with Steve over the course of two days. Steve got the tank out of the loft, and all the pipes we no longer needed, very skilfully and it looks as if they were never there. Dave found a clever solution for getting access to a side wall to install the new flue over a fragile conservatory roof. They worked hard, while remaining relaxed and fully in control of what they were doing. It was a pleasure to deal with them.

Dave carries the work out by himself, and had a large job to do with the installation of a new boiler, underfloor heating downstairs, and new radiators (Including towel radiator) upstairs. Everything was carried out to a very high quality, and have found no issues months later. The work was also carried out extremely quickly, and he offered the best price for underfloor heating, when not many others wanted to install underfloor heating the way we wanted it (on top of concrete floor).

The boiler and heating in our new house were not working properly. Heat-tec was asked to identify and solve the problem or problems. The issues they uncovered ranged from an incorrect installation of the boiler, through flue pipes fitted outside building regs, to incorrectly connected wiring (some not connected at all) for the boiler and underfloor heating. All of the issues were successfully addressed to ensure that all was correctly installed and functioning at optimum levels for the future. The outstanding difference between Heat-tec and other heating engineers I have encountered, is the depth and breadth of knowledge, the professionalism of approach, and the attitude of never-cutting-corners, in order to make life easier for themselves and where the client will be none the wiser. I trust the team implicitly. And they are all really nice guys to have around.

I had a new Worcester 8000 boiler and unvented hot water system fitted last week. Dave did a fantastic job. He was trustworthy, reliable and the quality of his work was great. This is the 2nd time I’m using David’s company and I’ll certainly use his company again.

We had a new energy-efficient combi boiler fitted by Heat-Tec along with new radiator valves and a new bathroom radiator. We also had a loft ladder, flooring and a light put up in the loft where the boiler was situated, so that it was readily accessible. We were very impressed with the service provided from start to finish, with no hidden extra costs. Dave and his team worked in a clean, tidy manner and did a first class job. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

I had issues with leaking actuated valves on the underfloor heating system installed by the builder on a new home 4 years ago. It is difficult to find someone who understands these systems, but Heat Tec understood gave a reasonable price and replaced the faulty item. It now works fine and their final bill was less than the estimate. They know what they are doing and are not looking to rip you off.

I wanted to have underfloor heating in my conservatory extension. Dave came round promptly and measured up. Quoted a very reasonable rate and then came back and laid the heat down. Nothing more could be done until the extension was complete and Dave came back 5 months later to install the necessary equipment. Very friendly, knowledgable and gave great advice.
