We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.
Established in 2003 we have built up a reputation for providing a
first class service at a reasonable price to our many local customers.

We needed to have a second boiler pressure gauge and filling loop installed as the existing controls were all in the loft and being in our seventies this was extremely difficult for us to access. We contacted HeatTech who gave us a quote which we thought was very reasonable and asked them to go ahead. The engineers arrived punctually were friendly and helpful and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. We can highly recommend this company and we will definitely use them again.

Heat Tech quoted for a new central heating radiator and delivered the requested one a couple of days before the installation. I did not like to size and style of it. Mark Ockenden collected it without quibbling and fitted a much better one on the scheduled date. The work was neat and furthermore his invoice was less than his quotation to account for the alternative radiator. He has done several other heating & plumbing jobs for me in a proper, professional way. I recommend Heat Tech.

Heat Tech re-configured the heating system in a flat I rent out. This involved installing a new combi boiler and removing the pressurised water tank system. The work was complicated and carried out to a high standard, with little mess left. My life was made easy with Mark Ockenden working directly with the tenants in a sensitive manner. The job started and finished on schedule and to budget. I have no hesitation in recommending Heat Tech as a professional and competent company.

Left a message for Mark re radiators getting warm when only hot water activated. Dripping and vibrating cold tap. Boiler service. He returned my call the same day and said it could be dealt with the next day. The next afternoon, at the appointed time, arrived Engineer Sapphire and her assistant Ethan. They were thoroughly professional, polite, efficient and tidy. I can’t speak highly enough of the whole service. Everything was fixed and for a very reasonable price. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Heat Tech and I would certainly use them again.

Identified and fixed leaking toilet cistern (which wasn't an easy job given rusted bolts) and identified problem with leaky water cylinder, and gas fire. Mark clearly knows exactly how to diagnose a problem and fix it effectively.

I have used HeatTech for several years now and they always arrive as agreed, perform an excellent and efficient job and clear up properly when they have finished. The most recent work was to fit Thermostats to 7 Radiators. Sapphire and her excellent Team arrived on time, used freezing equipment to avoid draining the system and risk of airlocks, fitted the Thermostats, checked the system and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I have no hesitation in recommending this Company for any Heating and Plumbing work large or small. In an Industry with "Cowboys" it is reassuring to find a trader of this quality.

Very easy booking on the phone. Engineer arrived on time and explained what was work was being carried out. I had a couple of concerns with the boiler running on it's own when not on timer, which were professionally answered and cleared up those queries for me. Price was as quoted, will use Heat Tech again.

Modernising a central heating system

We had a boiler and hot water cylinder replacement, eight radiators replaced and various other central heating bits and bobs sorted out. All this work was completed in four days by Mark and his excellent HeatTech team. I have had work done by Mark’s company before, so I was confident that this job would be done professionally to the highest standard, and so it was. Mark Ockendon’s encyclopaedic knowledge of central heating systems and problem solving came in very useful, in diagnosing and explaining the existing faults that became evident during this installation. I highly recommend HeatTech heating engineers. Well worth the money.

After discovering a dripping hot water cylinder late in to the evening my email for help was answered at 7am and the team arrived before lunch and fixed the leak within a couple of hours. Responsive, knowledgeable, courteous, tidy and good value. Recommended!

I have used a number of different plumbing companies and individuals over the years and I have to say that Mark at Heat Tech is a clear cut above everyone we have ever used before. We had 2 issues (Blocked bathroom sink and a broken radiator valve) - He and his team turned up at the agreed time, got straight to work and resolved both issues with amazing efficiency. Totally professional. Extremely pleased and will be getting Heat Tech to take over my annual boiler checks if they can fit me in.
