We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.
Established in 2003 we have built up a reputation for providing a

Water Leak - amazing Advice followed by a prompt repair & excellent aftercare

We had a mains water leak which had obviously been going on for some time with water saturating an internal, but load bearing wall. I had no hesitation calling 'Heat Tech Services' as I knew I would receive an excellent and prompt solution at a fair price. As it was the weekend and Mark was busy, he could not actually get to us until the following week. He was incredibly helpful, giving the best temporary solution, including what we could do ourselves to save time and money before they could come to fix the pipe. The pipe was excellently and quickly fixed by the end of Monday. The site was left clean and clear of debris. I felt like a very stressful situation was calmly, expertly and promptly sorted without causing a financial headache. I had a query regards moisture on the pipe after the job was completed and Mark thoroughly explained the possible reasons and asked me to call back if I was still concerned. The workers mended the pipe perfectly and saved us a lot of hassle over a very busy Christmas period. Thank you. I cannot recommend Mark and his team highly enough.

Leak by hot water cylinder

Having seen wet floorboards by the hot water cylinder, a phone call to Heat Tech led to a quick visit in order to identify the problem. Fortunately a new hot water cylinder was not required but a sticky heating valve controller and some reconfigured pipework was needed to resolve the issue. As it was just before Christmas and a complete shut down until the New Year, we were delighted with the quick service and the problem was sorted. We switched to Heat Tech in mid-December 2021 as British Gas Home Care were completely unable to sort out a problem in a timely fashion and expected us to wait until after the New Year without central heating for an engineer to call.

Heat Tech engineer George came the day after I called, to replace our water pump and check the boiler because the heating was not working properly. He was excellent and a credit to Heat Tech. I had never used the company before but had been recommended. They are just excellent and very helpful and accommodating and reasonably priced. I have no hesitation in recommending them and would certainly use them again.

I received a recommendation for this company, and used them for the first time to replace a faulty heating timer and a boiler service. The engineers did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it for a reasonable price. I am happy to recommend them without any reservations.

Fix problem with Vaillant boiler heating system and room thermostat

Central heating was intermittent and not responding to the thermostat. After having a couple of locally recommended engineers look at the system and fail to properly diagnose the fault I came across this Which site which contained many satisfying reviews. Talking to Mark on the phone it was very clear that he was the engineer I was looking for. As a retired engineer of 60 years in electronics development I found we could discuss my problem successfully. Heat-Tech engineer George, came over to checkout the system and found it not to be wired according to published standards and recommended that rewiring was needed to enable efficient fault finding. Subsequently he got the heating working but there were occasional fault modes occurring and a new electronics board was needed. After fitting a replacement board the system is now working correctly. Costs of labour and parts were good value and I would call them again if required. I'm pleased with the fast and competent service from the company and would recommend Heat-Tech as a first choice. Thank you Mark and George.

HeatTech are known on the Estate I live in and I had already had a recommendation. The work I needed doing was a new shower unit in my walk-in shower, a new kitchen tap with added water filter and a new cistern valve in one of the other bathrooms. The hardest part of the work for Sapphire, who did the shower was having to remove tiles in order to get the piping out without upsetting the other bathrooms using a power showers. Fortunately I had some tiles left from the original job about 30 years ago. She grouted those tiles really well and no-one would know anything had changed, except me, of course! Sapphire had two young helpers for the other two jobs. I am extremely happy with their approach to the work and the efficient and friendly manner in which it was done and would certainly recommend HeatTech. Helen Dean
