We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.
Established in 2003 we have built up a reputation for providing a
first class service at a reasonable price to our many local customers.

What a brilliant service. Same day response (within hours). Mark came diagnosed the problem immediately and boiler parts were replaced within 2 hours. Very pleased with price charged. This is the first time we’ve used Heat Tech and we were really impressed by Mark’s depth of knowledge, professional approach and attitude. Sarah also was extremely helpful when taking our call. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Heat Tech services (Mark) installed a new boiler for me in the summer, which was done very efficiently. In September we started to have problems with the hot water as the new boiler kept cutting out. Mark couldn't have been more helpful in identifying the problem (failing Shunt Pump) and fixing it. He ensured that we weren't left with a problem. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

Heat Tech installed a new Vaillant boiler for us. Following a site visit, their initial quotation was issued very quickly, was in a clear format with various options available, and was very reasonable. We were able to book in the work very quickly. The young lady who carried out the work was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. My wife, in particular, was mightily impressed that a woman carried out the work! After the installation, we noticed that some air had built up in the radiator system, which we understand is quite normal when a new boiler is installed. Heat Tech returned very quickly to release the air etc. They also registered our guarantee for us directly with Vaillant. All in all, we are very happy indeed with the service offered by Heat Tech.

Boiler went down Christmas Eve, freezing Christmas. Saved by heating engineer I never knew existed. Recommended by friendly plumber. How right she was. Mark arrived at first possible opportunity, scrutinised the boiler from every point of view - he was definitely a problem solver. He certainly had an eye for detail and discovered some little problems where things had just disintegrated, goodness. Should have been serviced earlier but at the time we were in Lockdown and I have been isolated ever since. He changed the fan, burner gasket, and ignition electrodes on the spot and went on to tighten manual air vent in the airing cupboard - getting rid of a leak was unexpected benefit. All this, no fuss. I was left with warm radiators, proper hot water and the emergency heater redundant, thank goodness. Now the house is nice and cosy and I thank Mark. Added bonus I now have a heating engineer to call on to do the annual service. Result, excellent!!!

I have used this company for years and see it, deservedly grow. Knowledgeable reliable and clean work at a fair price. They have also come out and helped when I had gas or plumbing emergencies, a local company who take on and train local apprentices too.

I've been a Heat Tech customer for a few years now and would recommend Mark and his employees. Works are always done precisely and well. Most recently I've had a gas safety certificate done, boiler service and new toilet fitted. In the not so distant past we've had an outdoor hot water tap installed.

The work was the replacement of an old and faulty Ch wall thermostat. The original engineer - Sapphire - was ill and unable to attend but her replacements actually arrived before the original appointment time and completed the installation efficiently and courteously. Moreover, they provided a clear, patient and thorough explanation of the workings of the new,' smart', thermostat. A very good, professional job.

I called Mark to get my hob commissioned after my kitchen fitters fitted the kitchen, he came round very promptly, spent half an hour making sure my gas supply was ok but more importantly made sure I was strong enough to turn the gas off if the need arose.

Always helpful and responsive
I've previously engaged Heat Tech for some repairs at my home and was happy to go back to them with a recent query. Mark was really helpful over the phone and managed to solve the issue without the need for a call out and so without any cost. After contacting about 7 plumbers who never got back to me, Mark was recommended through a friend. Him and his team ended up coming back 3 times in one day to fix separate problems (its an old house) and i honestly can not fault their work. I am forever thankful for their help and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
