We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.

Brilliant. We had no water. We called Mark. Within 2 hours he sent a lady plumber and her assistant. She found the problem, went out to buy a spare part, returned, and all was completed, with running water from all taps and showers working again much faster than I thought - just 90 minutes. This is definitely a company I will recommend.

Had suspicious smell of gas. I decided to phone Mark Ockenden of Heat Tech Services as his firm are registered Gas Safe Engineers. I have used their services for Gas boiler installation, maintenance and general plumbing for many years. I have found his staff, well qualified and highly effecient. Mark arrived on time. He tested for a leak and determined it was minor but needed to be attended to. He found the leaking valve, which was embedded in my fireplace surround. To avoid damaging the fireplace, he lifted carpet and adjacent floorboard, cut the pipe and capped it with a soldered repair - all with my agreement. He put everything back in place and it looks just as it was before the repair was carried out. As usual - excellent service.

I first met Mark through a networking group. I have known him for over 5 years and would not hesitate to recommend him and in fact regularly do. He is honest and reliable and twice I have called him out on an emergency on a weekend, once when I had a gas leak and another time when a pipe burst. He has also put in a new shower, serviced the boiler, changed a tap and detected faults. He's an all round excellent worker and I cannot recommend him highly enough & he definitely wont rip you off!

I have used Heat Tech on a number of of occasions over the past year. This has included replacing a booster pump, changing a broken toilet flush valve and inlet valve and boiler service. Mark has also cured various longstanding problems with pipes and valves. He is always prepared to investigate the problem thoroughly rather than just curing the symptoms, and to explain what he is doing.

Heat Tech came to us on two separate occasions in February this year (2017). Our neighbour recommended them. The first was to service our boiler and explain the whole complex heating and water system we had inherited after purchasing the property. No expansion tank was found so they added. The second visit was to sort the flush and cistern leak in the toilet but actually the whole old toilet & cistern had to be removed (nails and pipe rusted) and cleaned out and reconnected to the soil pipe. Although a new toilet might have solved some of the problem the connection to the existing soil pipe could have been a problem. The toilet was put back together and works absolutely fine. No extra charge. Their fees are reasonable and as I say very thorough work. It is good to recommend local people

We are SO relieved to find a heating engineer that is honest and professional. Just before Christmas, we very nearly fell victim to an unscrupulous plumber who insisted that a new boiler was our only option when ours failed. The hard sell made us very uncomfortable so friends recommended we call Mark. Thank goodness we did! Mark was able to identify the problem immediately - and very kindly took the time to explain how he was going to fix it. Thanks to his knowledge and skill, our boiler is now up and running and there was no question we needed a new one! I'm so grateful for Mark's honesty and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

Would recommend using Mark and his team. Mark came and discussed options on new heating system explaining to this "old lady " in great understandable detail. The work was done while I was away and I came back to a very warm clean house. Thank you George. Mark again explained the running of the boiler. Mark is a very pleasant person to deal with. Our central heating had stopped working. We called Mark and after answering a few questions he said he would come round that afternoon and bring with him the parts he felt would be needed. He arrived promptly and after investigation replaced our timer control which resolved the problem. Mark was polite, knowledgeable and we would not hesitate to call him again if we had a boiler or plumbing problem

I've known Heat Tech for several years and both Mark and Andy have done work at my house - in particular servicing the boiler, fixing a leaking valve on the Megaflow and replacing the in-line scale inhibitor. At the flat, apart from regular boiler service, they have also fixed the bedroom radiator by unclogging the pipework. They are both knowledgeable and professional in their attitude. I would recommend them highly - they definitely always do a good quality job and leave the place neat and tidy.

Mark and his team fitted a new boiler and hot water tank in four days. They were prompt, tidy, and explained all the work they were doing. Prior to the work, mark had explained the alternative solutions. Whilst at the top end of the estimates I had, I would not hesitate to recommend them as the result has given me an excellent system.

Mark was recommended to us a few years ago by another of his clients and we've been contacting him for all our plumbing needs since then. From fitting new boilers, to repairing redundant (but still live) mains supply pipes leaking into our kitchen, to replacing troublesome toilet seats, his service is always completely satisfactory, perfectly prompt in an emergency and very pleasant. I found Mark on the Which Trusted Traders' site and rang him for help. I had been left without hot water for a week after the company I have insurance with for maintenance on our central heating, supposedly serviced our boiler. Their engineer returned to my house four times and each time failed to remedy the problem. Mark spotted what was wrong almost immediately and the hot water was back within the hour. He even fixed a problem with my outside tap while he was here. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Needless to say I have cancelled the contract with the heating insurance company and I will be using HeatTech for all future maintenance. Megan S.

I had Mark round to service the boiler, repair a radiator valve and improve the condensate pipe run. He and his team arrived on time, completed the work thoroughly and with care and were very polite.
