We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.

Mark and George came out to look at our (old non standard) boiler which had locked out. Cleaned out clogged internal gauze filter in flow pipe and checked other functions; heating now working properly. Punctual, professional and efficient as always with clear explanations and recommendations.

Clean and efficient job well done. The problem was a mysterious leak which will need on going monitoring. Mark identified the possible cause and we will see what happens. He fitted in two visits around his busy schedule and repaired toilet cistern whilst he was here. I would definitely recommend him for all plumbing and heating work.

Mark returned my call promptly following my initial enquiry. His team arrived on time and were polite and professional at all times. They serviced our unvented hot water cylinder. A leaking hot water storage tank left us without any hot water on the last weekend before Christmas. After calling Mark (whom has done work for us before) on a Saturday afternoon he was with us early evening same day and sorted the problem quickly. With a new valve fitted we were up and running again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark - hugely knowledgeable and gets the job done without fuss.

Heat Tech quoted for a new central heating radiator and delivered the requested one a couple of days before the installation. I did not like to size and style of it. Mark Ockenden collected it without quibbling and fitted a much better one on the scheduled date. The work was neat and furthermore his invoice was less than his quotation to account for the alternative radiator. He has done several other heating & plumbing jobs for me in a proper, professional way. I recommend Heat Tech.

I have used HeatTech for several years now and they always arrive as agreed, perform an excellent and efficient job and clear up properly when they have finished. The most recent work was to fit Thermostats to 7 Radiators. Sapphire and her excellent Team arrived on time, used freezing equipment to avoid draining the system and risk of airlocks, fitted the Thermostats, checked the system and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I have no hesitation in recommending this Company for any Heating and Plumbing work large or small. In an Industry with "Cowboys" it is reassuring to find a trader of this quality.

Repair to Noisy Hot Water Tank

When continuous rumbling sounds came from our hot water tank we asked Heat Tech to investigate. A convenient date was arranged followed by an email confirming the date & time they would arrive. After the problem was identified we were told that a replacement hot water zone valve was needed as well as a new circulation pump head. These parts had to be ordered and after a few days we were contacted and Heat Tech came to complete the repair. At all times the staff were polite and kept us informed of the work and how long it would take. We can highly recommend Heat Tech for their efficient and professional service.

I'd used HeatTech before (after finding them on TrustedTrader) after they managed to fix two faulty valves then had meant we had no heating in the house so was fairly confident they could address the issue that the underfloor heating has stopped working. After a quick call with Mark we had figured out what the problem was (another faulty valve) he came around and replaced the value. Two of his team came round a couple of days later to make good. Hopefully this valve will last a while but can't fault HeatTech's work. They arrived when they said they would, identified the issue and fixed it and made good. Would use again

Extremely happy and very impressed with Heat Tech Services. We rang this company on a Sunday afternoon and Mark from Heat Tech arrived the next day, early Monday morning. Mark was professional & very knowledgeable. Our problem with our boiler was resolved and have also used heat tech services to service our boilers. This was completed by Marks team who were once again professional, efficient & friendly. Excellent workmanship would highly recommend.

Terrific Experienced Advice
I had an issue with my boiler/heating system that my UW engineer could fix and he advised an expensive power flush. 5 minutes on the phone to Heat Tech Service and they had the issue pin pointed to a pump. They gave me great confidence if I cant resolve this through my insurance I will willingly use them.

We had a leak somewhere under the kitchen floor but did not know what it was. We were unable to turn the water off. Mark arrived when he said he would and found the problem. We were delighted that he managed to fix the leak without taking up the floor despite the fact that this meant he had to work in a small and uncomfortable space. He cleaned up thoroughly, including taking out some broken concrete rubble left by a previous contractor. Clearly, we are very pleased!

Many thanks to Mark for his extremely prompt and efficient service. Following a boiler breakdown we were visited by 0900 and the fault (a broken fan) quickly identified. A replacement part was speedily obtained and by 1100 hrs the boiler was back in operation. I would heartily recommend Heat Tech!

This job was a bit of a nightmare for Mark as the original extensive wiring was shambolic and had to be replaced . In addition one of the new thermostats proved to be faulty and an existing valve had seized. Nevertheless Mark soldiered on and finished the job to his usual high standard.

I have been using Heat-Tech for installation and servicing of my central heating boiler since 2013. Also general plumbing. Just had another annual comprehensive boiler service carried out in the usual efficient way. What I like about Heat-Tech is that if I want clarification or help on any c/h or plumbing matter during the year I just have to phone Mark. We had a boiler and hot water cylinder replacement, eight radiators replaced and various other central heating bits and bobs sorted out. All this work was completed in four days by Mark and his excellent HeatTech team. I have had work done by Mark’s company before, so I was confident that this job would be done professionally to the highest standard, and so it was. Mark Ockendon’s encyclopaedic knowledge of central heating systems and problem solving came in very useful, in diagnosing and explaining the existing faults that became evident during this installation. I highly recommend HeatTech heating engineers. Well worth the money.

Heat Tech have visited my home twice. On 9th December they serviced my Combi boiler. A problem was identified, which was explained to me. Heat tech ordered a new part for the boiler and contacted me as soon as they had received it. They returned on 14th to fit the new part. Their engineers were punctual, efficient and courteous. They were clean workers and left no mess. I can highly recommend this company. Both the engineers on site and office management and administration was faultless.
