We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.

Having tried every trick possible, I decided it was time to call in an expert. Called first thing on Monday morning and got an appointment for the same day. The guys turned up on time and within minutes the toilet was unblocked. No fuss. No mess. Professional and efficient is how I would describe the service. I can honestly say it was a pleasure to do business with Heat Tech and I would definitely recommend calling them for your plumbing problems. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised that the bill was less than the estimate quoted. Many thanks!

Just before Christmas a valve next to our boiler sprang a leak and a black liquid was oozing out. We had to turn the heating off. Heat Tech was recommended and as soon as I rang Mark Ockenden he asked for details of the problem, including size of the pipe and how much access there was near the valve. He asked me to send him a photo of the valve via Whatsapp, which I did. This info allowed him to bring the correct replacement and equipment and the work was done very efficiently by freezing the pipe above and below the valve before replacing it, thus avoiding having to drain down the whole system. Impressive! Mark and his assistant arrived at the agreed time and kept me informed when they would return after the pipe was frozen. They were polite and courteous and left everything clean and tidy.

I had a serious problem with my boiler right in the middle of the Christmas break. The service I received was simply exceptional. They came to my property immediately, even give the holiday period when a lot of companies had shut down, and put my mind at rest straight away. They worked quickly and efficiently, were polite, friendly and well organised and gave me on honest feedback until my extensive repairs were completed. I spoke with a few different members of the team and each one was more knowledgeable and helpful than the last. Given the state of my boiler and the damage that had been done by a serious escape of water I had serious concerns for the cost of the work they completed and the parts that they placed. However, the invoice I received was fair and reasonable and I have complete faith in them. I have now referred both my father and brothers to them so they know they have a local, reliable firm they can rely on when they need any assistance. First class!

Heat Tech has been servicing our boiler for more than 6 years as well as carrying out small plumbing repairs in the house and we've been very happy with the service and wouldn't consider using anyone else. Mark returns phone calls and answers email promptly and in an emergency, I'm always confident his team will do their best to sort out the problem. The guys won't bamboozle you with jargon either! A quality service that I highly recommend if you want a job done by a professional.

I called Heat Tech on Friday morning having had a cold shower this morning so see if they could fix my boiler. Although they had a very busy schedule they managed to squeeze me in during the afternoon anyway. They worked their way through the various potential fault with the boiler eventually narrowing it down to a couple of things. I was really impressed that they even had some of the parts required on the van rather than having to go to a from the plumbers merchant. Needless to say the boiler was fixed and I was VERY happy with the service provided.

I have had my boiler and hot water cylinder serviced for the last two years and I have been delighted with the work - done with care and thoroughness as well as the efficient and courteous service and helpful attitude. A point to note is that the use of overshoes to keep your floors clean may be what a customer should expect but it is all too rarely encountered. These little things can make such a difference.

I texted Mark when my boiler was not firing up. He immediately called me back and we discussed what was happening. When the immersion heater also did not work on Saturday Mark was very responsive and came out to see us on Saturday morning. Very reliable and helpful

Around lunchtime we realised that we had lost heating and hot water. Looking at the boiler it was obviously dead. We called Mark Ockenden at Heat Tech and he called back within 20 minutes. He came to the house as soon as he had completed his other work for the day. It was clearly a difficult problem to resolve but he persisted and a replaced transformer got our boiler working again. It was clear that Mark was going to spend as much time as necessary to get our boiler working again. Excellent service.

We had a new heating system installed with a combi boiler and some replacement radiators. This also involved taking away all the old water tanks and piping. The job took a week and we were delighted with the quality of the work and the team were polite, clean and tidy and a joy to have around. The new system works beautifully and we would recommend Heat Tech unreservedly.
