We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.

HeatTech are known on the Estate I live in and I had already had a recommendation. The work I needed doing was a new shower unit in my walk-in shower, a new kitchen tap with added water filter and a new cistern valve in one of the other bathrooms. The hardest part of the work for Sapphire, who did the shower was having to remove tiles in order to get the piping out without upsetting the other bathrooms using a power showers. Fortunately I had some tiles left from the original job about 30 years ago. She grouted those tiles really well and no-one would know anything had changed, except me, of course! Sapphire had two young helpers for the other two jobs. I am extremely happy with their approach to the work and the efficient and friendly manner in which it was done and would certainly recommend HeatTech. Helen Dean

Used Heat tech for the first time and they were able to fit us in on the same day. The engineer (Saphire) immediately understood what was needed and the whole job was done in half a day. As a result the water pressure from the mega flow doubled. We have lived here for 15 years and never had the pressure so good. Definitely will use them again.

We have used Mark for some years before at another house to install a new boiler, annual servicing and various heating issues. Mark always responds very quickly and this time our boiler developed a fault and stopped working. Mark diagnosed the issue, discussed with us what was needed, and then ordered the parts required . The work was completed very promptly to get the boiler working and also completed servicing of our Vaillant boiler and mega flow. Mark is very knowledgeable and helpful and completed the work to a high standard. I will certainly continue to use Heat Tech in the future .

Mark and James did a sound job with neat workmanship and advised us of potential problems with existing hidden pipework and electrics before starting, so we were able to come up with a Plan B for the works and complete everything on schedule. Found Mark’s contact details when searching online for Which Trusted Traders. Repairs to a shower valve, kitchen Triflow tap and a flush cistern were needed. Most of contact with Mark was via emails where he always replied promptly and provided helpful information. Mark himself or another one of his colleagues came on the agreed date & time and carried out the required work even agreeing to take on additional items which needed attention. Mark and his colleagues were very polite and helpful and the all the work was done tidily. I can certainly recommend Mark and will contact him again when required.

We have a megaflow system that started to leak. Mark advised on the best course of action to contain the leak, while allowing us to still have hot/cold water, and had someone around the following day to fix. All done quickly and efficiently. I have been using Heat Tech for all of my home plumbing/heating issues over the last 2 years. I have always found Mark and his team extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable. My boiler stopped working a few days ago and I was left with no hot water or heating. Mark came out within 30 mins (after 6pm) and had the boiler working within the hour. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I needed to upgrade an existing radiator in terms of size and power. As I had hardwood flooring it was also necessary to adapt the existing pipework for the existing 400 to be extended to accommodate a 600. The work was excellent and completed efficiently. Mark was assisted by an apprentice I was extremely impressed by the clarity of his instruction to the new member of staff. This was similar to that I was privileged to enjoy at the quotation quotation stage. The cost was within budget and initial quote. Most definitely a professional whom I would welcome back.

We have used Mark on a number of occasions over the last six years including to install a new boiler and new Megaflow and to extend our central heating to areas of our house not previously heated. He has also done much smaller jobs, including, on this occasion, fixing a leak that had started from our shower valve. On each occasion he has spent time analysing the situation, clearly explained his proposed solution and then implemented it very professionally. I doubt he is the cheapest plumber covering Chorleywood, but I'm pretty sure he's the best.

Heat Tech re-configured the heating system in a flat I rent out. This involved installing a new combi boiler and removing the pressurised water tank system. The work was complicated and carried out to a high standard, with little mess left. My life was made easy with Mark Ockenden working directly with the tenants in a sensitive manner. Met Mark helping our elderly neighbour which he did cheerfully even though no work for him. Mark's team had to switch out old boiler set up with loft tanks etc and replace with combi plus some extra rads. A big job that took all week for 2 people. Job completed as planned and all done efficiently. We had a few snagging problems but Mark made sure that one of his team came out to fix them quickly. Have used Mark before and will definitely use him again. Reliable service and good at diagnosing tricking problems!
