We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.

We had an ancient boiler, attached to questionable pipework which had been modified by various plumbers over the years. The boiler was removed, and the space completely cleared of any remaining pipework. New boiler fitted in the same position, and every pipe re-run in a very professional manner. This meant it looked great, and also gave us much more space, as the pipework was positioned more tidily against the walls. Sapphire, our lady plumber worked without a break over two days, until the job was done. All left neat and tidy. So pleased we are awarding Heat Tech the maintenance contract as well.

I called Mark Ockenden of Heat Tech Services on the morning of June 1st about a leak from a pipe in the kitchen. He arrived with colleague about two hours later, & solved the problem by repairing the pipe quickly & efficiently. I was very pleased to have the job completed so quickly.

I contacted Heat Tech Services in the morning in relation to a fault on my boiler, it wasn't producing hot water. Mark got in touch with me about half an hour later and at 2 pm I had an engineer at the door. He diagnosed the fault immediately and fixed it. The engineer even waited some 10 minutes for access while I returned home. Other companies were going to come the following week and, with 2 small kids at home and an elderly grandmother, I desperately needed hot water in the house. Honestly, I couldn't rate this company highly enough. I was so impressed with their service. I used them for the annual boiler service last year and will certainly continue using them in the future. Burst pipe late afternoon on Xmas Eve sorted quickly with no fuss. Subsequent boiler breakdown and replacement handled extremely professionally. Detailed explanations at every stage. Prompt arrival every morning, quiet except for instructions, and Covid protection guidelines adhered to by all workmen (and ladies!). Work completed on time and within budget. A small problem with the new boiler (Manufacturers' fault) was remedied quickly at no extra cost. Will be replacing British Gas insurance policy (as the earliest they could send an engineer was a minimum of 2 weeks!) with annual service by Heat Tech. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I'd used HeatTech before (after finding them on TrustedTrader) after they managed to fix two faulty valves then had meant we had no heating in the house so was fairly confident they could address the issue that the underfloor heating has stopped working. After a quick call with Mark we had figured out what the problem was (another faulty valve) he came around and replaced the value. Two of his team came round a couple of days later to make good. Hopefully this valve will last a while but can't fault HeatTech's work. They arrived when they said they would, identified the issue and fixed it and made good. Would use again

We had a leak somewhere under the kitchen floor but did not know what it was. We were unable to turn the water off. Mark arrived when he said he would and found the problem. We were delighted that he managed to fix the leak without taking up the floor despite the fact that this meant he had to work in a small and uncomfortable space. He cleaned up thoroughly, including taking out some broken concrete rubble left by a previous contractor. Clearly, we are very pleased!

Our tap had been leaking, vibrating and humming for a while. I called Mark from Heat Tech at a neighbours recommendation and am really impressed with the service we received. The team were over to replace our tap sooner than originally discussed and were knowledgeable and efficient. The team were covid secure, which was reassuring. I had an issue with my boiler/heating system that my UW engineer could fix and he advised an expensive power flush. 5 minutes on the phone to Heat Tech Service and they had the issue pin pointed to a pump. They gave me great confidence if I cant resolve this through my insurance I will willingly use them.

On Thursday we had the power off all day for our electrician to update our control panel. It was the coldest day of the year so we couldn't wait to switch the boiler back on when the work was complete. Unfortunately, the boiler failed to function. Mark responded to our call that evening but couldn't identify the problem over the phone. At 9.00 the next morning his team arrived and got the boiler working again. They were polite and efficient and adhered to the Covid guidelines. We have a warm house again, for which we are extremely grateful.

Extremely happy and very impressed with Heat Tech Services. We rang this company on a Sunday afternoon and Mark from Heat Tech arrived the next day, early Monday morning. Mark was professional & very knowledgeable. Our problem with our boiler was resolved and have also used heat tech services to service our boilers. I was lucky enough to be introduced to Mark when I first moved to Rickmansworth in 2014. He and his team had done work for my son, so I had no hesitation in asking him to do some things that were that needed here. He installed a new Combi boiler, with all that that involved, disposing of the old boiler and enormous tank. He also took away an old radiator and replaced it with a new one on the opposite side of the room. Since then, he and his team have regularly serviced the boiler. Mark has an excellent work ethic which he passes on to new members of his team. I have no hesitation in recommending Heat Tech.
