We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.

Heat Tech carried out a service on our old boiler and he managed to bring it back to life and also eliminate all of the Carbon Dioxide it was emitting. Truely great service. I have no hesiation in recommending Heat Tech!

Very professional service from Heat Tech engineers, the boiler needed a service and I also had a new thermostat installed. James talked me through everything he found and patiently showed me how to set the new thermostat. Mark returned a few days later with some additional parts which needed to be replaced. All work was carried out well and I am very pleased with the service received. I will definitely be using Heat Tech again.

For the first time that I can remember I feel confident that our gas heating system has been installed as it should be. Mark provided good advice from the outset and I had a gut reaction he was the person for the job. I was happy to accept his quote although it was not the cheapest one. My instinct proved to be fully justified. You get a service and a quality of work that is way better than I have experienced from others doing similar work and certainly well worth the small premium paid. He gets the detail right. When a major problem was found with our supply, he dealt with it immediately and at a fair cost. He and his team were a pleasure to have in the house and I could trust them to be alone in the house too. I have now transferred my maintenance contracts to him as well. I can whole heartedly recommend him. Thank you from all the family.

We have recently moved to a new flat and are having huge problems with our electricity bill which is completely bonkers, it's through the roof! Called to get a quote for a new water heater which looks to be the culprit. Instead of just booking us in, they took the time to find out what the issue was first and gave very sound and helpful advice. Will follow said advice and it goes without saying that Heat Tech will be our first choice when we need work carried out. Very professional Very helpful. Very impressed.

My central heating stopped working and Mark was able to tell me over the phone how to get it working again until he could he could come and fit a new motor to a motorised valve. Mark has serviced my boiler and heating system for several years now and I have always found him to be very reliable and has always does a very neat job.

I selected HeatTech on the recommendation of a neighbour. Communications were good - when the engineer was delayed by his previous job he rang in plenty of time to explain that he was going to be late and why; if only more tradespeople would do this. When he arrived, the engineer was polite and effected the service efficiently. I certainly plan to use HeatTech again and am happy to recommend them.

Heat Tech completed a boiler annual service and safety check. It was the first time we'd used them and we selected them primarily because they were local in Chorleywood. Very pleased with their professionalism and service. When booking Mark called me back as promised, he arrived when he said he would and completed the work quickly and was clear, patient and polite in explaining what needed to be done. Will use again and would recommend to others.

I called Mark with the intention of asking for a quote to replace my boiler. As it is cannot be repaired I needed the work carried out quickly. Mark was honest to say that he is so busy that he cannot commit to a boiler installation in the next week or so. However, what he did give me was unbiased, valuable advice during a long telephone conversation and this advice has been very helpful in my decision for my new boiler.

We needed a plumber who was qualified in working on unvented pressurised hot water systems to replace a pump, some radiator valves and venting equipment. This included draining the system and refilling, pressurising and testing. Fortunately we were aware of Mark Ockenden of Heat Tech Services from a previous job and knew him to be an excellent engineer for this type of work (and a wide range of others of course). Mark provides a very efficient and punctual service with excellent communications. We were able to discuss the job by means of emails with photos so he was fully prepared for the work on arrival. I felt very confident in Mark's skills and advice. The work was completed very quickly in a calm and tidy manner and the hot water system is working perfectly again.

I had my boiler serviced and the fan replaced as it was very noisy. George did the work and was very efficient and pleasant. The fan had to be got in and Mark/George provided good communication so I wasn’t wondering when it would be done. Best recommendation I can give is to say I will be using them again.

Our heating/hot water system failed us over the bank holiday.... no hot water. I phoned Mark at 8.30 am on Tuesday, and he was at our place by 9.45, diagnosed our problem, and had replaced the faulty part in 40 minutes. This is exemplary service ..... I know Mark has a very full work schedule. I also admire the fact that Mark was accompanied, as he has been on previous occasions, by an apprentice ( on this occasion a young woman) who he was instructing and giving hands on experience while he worked. On the whole highly skilled and experienced trades people who work for us are reluctant to take on apprentices ..... it's easier just to do the work yourself, and the paper work is daunting. Some of these are near retirement, and a lifetime of experience will go with them. So well done Mark for passing on your skill to the next generation.

I almost feel reluctant to recommend as I don’t want him to get so busy he can’t come and rescue us! Having lived in the area 15 years our plumbing experiences have been pretty dire before meeting Mark. He is prompt, gets on with it and doesn’t over charge. This last job was a proper rescue job for a flood on a Sunday morning and he was there within the hour.
