Central heating was intermittent and not responding to the thermostat. After having a couple of locally recommended engineers look at the system and fail to properly diagnose the fault I came across this Which site which contained many satisfying reviews. Talking to Mark on the phone it was very clear that he was the engineer I was looking for. As a retired engineer of 60 years in electronics development I found we could discuss my problem successfully. Heat-Tech engineer George, came over to checkout the system and found it not to be wired according to published standards and recommended that rewiring was needed to enable efficient fault finding. Subsequently he got the heating working but there were occasional fault modes occurring and a new electronics board was needed. After fitting a replacement board the system is now working correctly. Costs of labour and parts were good value and I would call them again if required. I'm pleased with the fast and competent service from the company and would recommend Heat-Tech as a first choice. I’ve used Heat Tech a number of times and I’m happy to say that they are more than willing to prioritise urgent work and have done an excellent job for me. I switched from having a service contract with a large nationwide company to using a local firm who are both quicker and more conscientious, not to mention cheaper.

Rang the office in the morning and they had just had a cancellation so van arrived 20 minutes later and installed new tap within half an hour. Very happy customer !

I have used HeatTech since 2006. Always had professional excellent customer service from Mark and his staff. On Friday my boiler broke down. Within a few hours Mark was around at my property sorting the problem out and replacing the pump. As ever excellent service at a reasonable price, with fast time response which I am so grateful for. I will be using HeatTech again.

I called Mark around 6 pm Friday as my normal plumber was booked and I had not had hot water for a week despite my boiler apparently firing up. Mark asked for pictures of my set up and then called me back to use telephone triage with very easy guidance on things I needed to check which quickly led to an over the phone diagnosis of the problem (a failed valve); Mark clearly explained his pricing which was extremely reasonable and committed to come this morning (Saturday 9 am); he quickly confirmed it was a valve problem replaced it and explained how I could run my system more efficiently . Hot water worked perfectly after a few minutes. I recommend Mark very highly and will now use him/ Heat tech for all my boiler servicing work as I was so impressed.

We have used HeatTech for a number of years now as they got us "out of hole" when British Gas said just before Christmas that they couldn't come for 10 days despite the fact that we had a contract with them. Mark and his team fitted us in at short notice and fixed the problem so that we were warm over Christmas. We have continued to use HeatTech and are extremely satisfied with their service.

Burst pipe late afternoon on Xmas Eve sorted quickly with no fuss. Subsequent boiler breakdown and replacement handled extremely professionally. Detailed explanations at every stage. Prompt arrival every morning, quiet except for instructions, and Covid protection guidelines adhered to by all workmen (and ladies!). Work completed on time and within budget. A small problem with the new boiler (Manufacturers' fault) was remedied quickly at no extra cost. Will be replacing British Gas insurance policy (as the earliest they could send an engineer was a minimum of 2 weeks!) with annual service by Heat Tech. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Mark and the team have replaced radiators for us and fitted a new boiler recently. They have done a fantastic job, arrived when they said they would, done a fantastic job and stuck to the quote. Highly recommended.

HeatTech serviced the boiler they fitted three years ago. The engineer arrived on time and carried out the work agreed. He answered a few questions and was pleasant throughout and paid strict attention to COVID safety procedures.

Heat Tech services (Mark) installed a new boiler for me in the summer, which was done very efficiently. In September we started to have problems with the hot water as the new boiler kept cutting out. Mark couldn't have been more helpful in identifying the problem (failing Shunt Pump) and fixing it. He ensured that we weren't left with a problem. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

Very happy with the prompt service from Mark and his team. Two machines used to freeze the pipes before changing valves on leaking radiator pipe work without draining down. Result

On New Year's Eve I discovered the central heating boiler was leaking and dripping onto the kitchen worktop. Mark came, identified that it was the heat exchanger leaking, telephoned the manufacturer and arranged for an engineer to visit on 3 January. It was all done so efficiently and was a great relief to me. Very grateful for his swift action.

The work was the replacement of an old and faulty Ch wall thermostat. The original engineer - Sapphire - was ill and unable to attend but her replacements actually arrived before the original appointment time and completed the installation efficiently and courteously. Moreover, they provided a clear, patient and thorough explanation of the workings of the new,' smart', thermostat. A very good, professional job.

The engineer arrived on time and was friendly He carried out the service on my boiler in a confident manner and was tidy and efficient. He also helped set my timer which I was having problems with. He suggested it was faulty. When I asked him if Heat Tech could fit a replacement he said yes and suggested I contact Mark Ockendon. I was extremely happy with the service.

Mark and team are brilliant. We found we were losing pressure on our boiler, and then during other works discovered a leak under the landing floor. Mark came quickly, replaced poor work by a previous plumber and replaced with proper copper pipes. With my elderly mum in the house getting this sorted was vital and Mark came up trumps. We also requested our annual heating service and had an appointment within days. Prices are very fair and Mark runs his business in a very professional way.

Heat Tech installed my boiler with other works in March 2012. They have serviced my boiler installation ever since and always carry out a first class job at a very reasonable price. Their general plumbing is also of a high standard. Great, reliable service. 100% recommended.

The Engineer, Ian, arrived on time and carried out a full Service within the schedule and budget. No hidden extras. Ian was extremely pleasant and approachable and a pleasure to deal with.
