We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.

My central heating stopped working and Mark was able to tell me over the phone how to get it working again until he could he could come and fit a new motor to a motorised valve. Mark has serviced my boiler and heating system for several years now and I have always found him to be very reliable and has always does a very neat job.

We had a new heating system installed with a combi boiler and some replacement radiators. This also involved taking away all the old water tanks and piping. The job took a week and we were delighted with the quality of the work and the team were polite, clean and tidy and a joy to have around. The new system works beautifully and we would recommend Heat Tech unreservedly.

We are SO relieved to find a heating engineer that is honest and professional. Just before Christmas, we very nearly fell victim to an unscrupulous plumber who insisted that a new boiler was our only option when ours failed. The hard sell made us very uncomfortable so friends recommended we call Mark. Thank goodness we did! Mark was able to identify the problem immediately - and very kindly took the time to explain how he was going to fix it. Thanks to his knowledge and skill, our boiler is now up and running and there was no question we needed a new one! I'm so grateful for Mark's honesty and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

Last week my boiler failed, I came home to a freezing cold house. It was late, Mark was about to go out for the evening but he spent 20 minutes helping try to reset my boiler. The next day he was working miles away, didn't get back until really late but he came by my house and fixed my boiler. Mark is straightforward, honest, none of that teeth sucking or whistle blowing antics that some plumbers adopt and send you into a sweat. Instead, a speedy, quality service . He explains things in simple terms without making you feel stupid. He builds long term relationships rather than looking at a problem as an opportunity to make lots of money. He is really good value, charges what feels like the right amount. Would recommend Mark to anyone.

Thoroughly professional job to repair and service boiler. Mark and George managed their time effectively to perform a diagnosis (quick visit between other jobs), then get the appropriate part, and fit as soon as possible. Not only were they efficient, they also went out of their way at the end of a day (at no extra cost) to complete the job quickly and minimise heat-off time. Trustworthy, courteous and reliable - highly recommended.

We have recently moved to a new flat and are having huge problems with our electricity bill which is completely bonkers, it's through the roof! Called to get a quote for a new water heater which looks to be the culprit. Instead of just booking us in, they took the time to find out what the issue was first and gave very sound and helpful advice. I've known Heat Tech for several years and both Mark and Andy have done work at my house - in particular servicing the boiler, fixing a leaking valve on the Megaflow and replacing the in-line scale inhibitor. At the flat, apart from regular boiler service, they have also fixed the bedroom radiator by unclogging the pipework. They are both knowledgeable and professional in their attitude. I would recommend them highly - they definitely always do a good quality job and leave the place neat and tidy.

Heat Tech came to us on two separate occasions in February this year (2017). Our neighbour recommended them. The first was to service our boiler and explain the whole complex heating and water system we had inherited after purchasing the property. No expansion tank was found so they added. The second visit was to sort the flush and cistern leak in the toilet but actually the whole old toilet & cistern had to be removed (nails and pipe rusted) and cleaned out and reconnected to the soil pipe. Although a new toilet might have solved some of the problem the connection to the existing soil pipe could have been a problem. The toilet was put back together and works absolutely fine. No extra charge. Their fees are reasonable and as I say very thorough work. It is good to recommend local people

Heat Tech came to us via recommendation, They replaced our OLD boiler system and added a radiator, while we went on holiday. The job was completed before we returned. The Heat Tech staff turned up on time and worked quickly and efficiently to service my boiler. They tidied up after the work was complete and provided a report on the tests that had been conducted. I will certainly use them again and I would recommend them to anyone needing a boiler serviced.

My Mother's boiler had stopped working, as she is 200 miles away from us, we had to rely on a recommendation from another tradesman. My Mother has dementia and has a live-in carer. Mark took the time to inspect the boiler within hours of my call and diagnosed a couple of faults. He returned over the next 2 days and not only fixed 2 problems but also cleaned the boiler and gave it a gas safety check. This resulted in him having to work most of a Saturday. I was kept updated each day with costs and actions taken which was supported by photo's of before and after. Everything was dealt with in a prompt, courteous and professional manner offering exceptional value for money. Mark is a hardworking, honest and trustworthy tradesman. We can't fault the service provided in any way except that we wish he was in our local area!
