I spent months diving into solar solutions, gathering quotes, and talking to so many suppliers. But Heatable? They were in a league of their own. Seriously, no pushy sales tactics, and their kit is top-notch. For me, the Alpha ESS system was the winner over the Tesla Powerwall 3 – it just made more sense for the cost and value. My first chat was with Paul, and he was amazing. He patiently answered my gazillion questions and shared so much great advice. And the installers? Heatable uses these incredible third-party teams, and they did such a brilliant job, all to a super high standard. We did hit a couple of bumps during the install with the system not quite working, but Phil and Joe were absolute heroes. They went above and beyond to sort everything out, and their communication was spot-on. I never once regretted choosing Heatable; I felt completely taken care of. It's only been a few weeks, and I'm already saving money and doing my bit for the planet. The Alpha ESS app is so easy to use and understand. Honestly, I couldn't be happier!

Regular updates on G99 application, rapid mobilisation once approved (1wk) and just 1wk to install - only had to be at home for the survey and the final day of install/commissioning. Paperwork all came through the next day. Only word of warning is the price isn’t as fixed as they make out. If you have any roof tiles other than cement, it will attract an extra charge for hooked tiles. Good price on large batteries and a great system when micro-inverters added.

A seamless experience in my solar installation with Heatable from start to finish. They answered all my questions and got back to me quickly to all emails. Was a little worried that they contract the installation out but I needn’t of worried as the installers (J.D Allen) were also spot on and also deserve a mention, as were the scaffolders who had a tricky job. So refreshing to see a company that takes customer service seriously. Thanks, I’m really pleased with my solar installation.

We found out on Thursday that notbing could be done for the boiler and I would have to get a new one. After panic looking for an hour we came across heatable, within 10 mins and a few questions we had the option of 3 boilers suitable for what type of house we had, it was booked in for that saturday within minutes! The boiler technician was brilliant, he came just after 8 am and had the boiler fitted, all the checks and a new flue fitted within 3 hours! He also checked for a possible gad leak as the last technician who came out was concerned about a gas smell. Cant fault the service given! I would 100% recommend!

I googled for a budget boiler and began the process of deciding on make of boiler and who to install it. During this process, information from the Heatables website was very useful. Their recommendations helped no end and, with a keen? quote I decided to order from them. A relatively painless experience later and Glenn arrived at my door. He proceeded to tell me what he would be doing, and then set to and did it. Within 48 hours of pressing the "Buy Now" button I was saying "goodbye" to Glenn. He had professionally installed my new Vailant boiler, a very tidy job, and explained all of the controls. He didn't even leave much mess, just dust. The only negative aspect to my experience was with the price. This was, of course, not down to Heatables but to the state of the world and that I am still living in the 1960's.

Compared to glowgreen they are miles betterC cheaper prices and very truthful. They will do what they say, they explain everything, they deliver on time and they are very honest. Boiler broke 3 days before Christmas as we had a new one by the 30th of December. Installed and set up, cheaper than that of glowgreen. They are honest and reliable they have really brought peace to a stressful situation.

From purchase of the boiler through to installation- the whole process has been easy, straightforward and exactly as prescribed. The engineer who installed the boiler was brilliant. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He talked us through everything and what he was doing. Customer service was timely informative and not pushy whilst organising boiler being replaced with easy to use option to choose date to be fitted within days of order . Boiler arrived by courier on morning of fitting and Nick the plumber arrived on time . He was obviously professional and very hard working in sorting the removal and replacement of the boiler . Very happy with my new boiler as well as the brilliant service from start to finish at such a reasonable price. The engineer completed a full boiler conversion and didn’t leave until he had completed it all due to the weather being so cold, he didn’t want to leave us without heating overnight. Easy to arrange. Photos sent and any issues I thought might have been a problem discussed with agent before placing order.kept informed with emails. On day of installation notified when fitters were an hour away. New boiler installed quickly and efficiently. Wrong flue was sent and fitter was not happy with it so went into Town and purchased a swan neck flue which was much better. Impressed with fitters work ethic. Highly recommend.

New Vaillant 832 fitted.

The boiler arrived the morning of 13/01/2026 shortly followed by Johnny the fitter. He started by removing the old Vaillant boiler that we'd had for nearly 20 years. We have solar panels so Johnny said that he would have to route a new flue in the roof space & out of the gable end of the house. Our boiler is located in the airing cupboard. He did an excellent job of it. Johnny was a top guy and he new his stuff he answer any questions we had and cleaned up after himself (were really impressed with him). The whole experience from begining to end went smoothly.

Catalogue of Errors
I would love to be able to provide a review of the air conditioning that I ordered from Heatable, unfortunately they failed to get anyone to actually turn up . . . three times!! I watched their YouTube videos and was very impressed with the down to earth a realistic information they provided. My first gripe is that their web site does not give you the option to ask questions or talk to a real person, especially if your request is not straight forward. This is fine for a boiler replacement, but not if you want aircon in a loft conversion with limited space. Eventually agreed on the 12th Dec for an installation date. I cleared my lounge, moved cars and made space in my garage etc. I’d had an (automated) email the day before to confirm the installation. Nobody turned up. They were profusely sorry and we organised a new date in the new year. Nobody arrived. Today was the third time they failed to get someone to turn up. So I have asked for a refund of the £4.5k that I paid back in December. Obviously communications is not their strong point and you need to remember that, I presume, if you’re not local to them, they farm out their services to contractors around the country, so you may as well go direct to them, noting that these sub suppliers won’t necessarily be on the Which recommended list. All in all sadly disappointed and quite angry for being messed around so much.
