Loud banging noise on new boiler

I contacted Joe Waller on Sat 20 Jan as every time the boiler came on there was a banging noise - so loud that it woke me up in the middle of the night and I was afraid the whole thing would blow up so was without heating Sat and Sun. Joe was coming to the UK on Sunday and came round at lunchtime as arranged. He tested the boiler - all ok - unfortunately the banging/vibrating didn't happen whilst he was here. He thought it might be a faulty radiator valve as and assured me that the boiler wouldn't blow up - so the heating went back on. The banging occurred 3 times further and I identified which radiator valve was faulty. Job sorted by Tues late morning. Excellent service from a hard working and knowledgable individual

I used HeatCo for two properties annually, and they've never let me down. They've always turned up on or before schedule, and the work is always top quality (as are their prices!). Darren is a lovely man and does high quality work. I would highly recommend HeatCo, Joe and Darren - they're a great team and always happy to give me advice. I will leave you with one simple example - I had Darren servicing a boiler in the loft yesterday, and he as per usual spent plenty of time looking at it, cleaning it etc. What I didn't realise (until he'd left!) was that he also unclogged my bathroom sink! I did not ask him, he must have noticed it whilst using it to drain excess water, and just unblock it. Yes it's a small thing, but I think it demonstrates well that these guys actually care about their customers.

Leak repair in property Two aspects - actual repair of upstairs toilet cistern leak - and installation of external stop-cock which the houses in the street do not have to enable shut-off. Required organising specialist subcontractor for the external work All work was done quickly and efficiently and good communications No significant disruption to our tenants.

Annual boiler service completed. Also, recently dealt with an emergency repair as the system pump had broken down. Heatco provided a prompt, professional and friendly service. Arrived on time for the appointment and let me know they were on their way. Easy to book a service on their website. I was told to contact them if any problems arose, but it has not been necessary. Happy customer.

When my old boiler failed I contacted Heatco on the basis of their reviews on Which. Joe was at my house within a couple of hours of my initial call and provided the estimate the same day. We agreed on his (extremely competitive) estimate and fixed a date. Joe and his team completed the work today (ahead of schedule) and I'm utterly delighted with my superb new boiler. The quality of his workmanship is excellent and his customer service is beyond reproach. I can't recommend Heatco highly enough. I am indeed one very happy customer.

Needed a new boiler, a week later we had one at at a good price. Having done a bit of research we felt Joe was able to answer all our silly and sensible questions! Very friendly and personable service from other staff too, made sure sheets were put down to protect our cream carpet! Following the work there was an issue, Joe came round at our earliest convenience and made sure we were happy with the work before leaving - we give him a digital high five.

Joe came round at very short notice when we found we had a problem with our central heating system delivering hot water. He quickly diagnosed that the 3 year old hot water/central heating timer had failed on the hot water side. He temporarily wired the hot water to the heating side of the timer in order to get us back up and running. We made an appointment and Joe came back to fit a new timer and also installed a new NEST learning thermostat that I had purchased. The installation of the NEST thermostat was both neat and tidy and all/any mess made was cleared and our house was left as he found it. Joe is quick, knowledgeable, tidy and polite and I would not hesitate to recommend Heatco to friends and family alike.
