Dave (HeatELEC) came to our home and discussed the project to help us decide what our needs were and what equipment was needed. He is very friendly and affable and was very helpful with ensuring we got what we needed. Dave and his team of two workers successfully completed the project in four days, which was a day less than estimated. We were very pleased at this. The invoice was as expected from the quote. They had a couple of issues with component supply but Dave persisted with his supplier and resolved the issues. All radiators were installed, as requested. After reflection overnight we changed our mind about the position of one radiator. After discussion with Dave he repositioned and rewired the unit promptly and without issue. Dave and his team were all very friendly and approachable during the work. They kept me up to date on progress and always consulted me on any queries or any decisions that were needed. The quality of their work is excellent and I would recommend HeatELEC to anyone. This is the third job I have used HeatELEC and the biggest. I would definitely use them again.

Fully qualified and registered for both gas and electrical work, Dave is quite exceptional in the care and trouble he takes to deliver a top-quality job. What's more, he delivers to time and budget, through careful preparation and excellent leadership and motivation of his co-workers. He has unusual and highly valuable experience in the conversion of gas heating to electrical, which proved very useful when I found gas could no longer be used due to building configuration problems. The team fitted electric underfloor heating and moved the location of a pendant light. They were very quick to respond to my initial quote request and I found the quote very reasonable. I was extremely impressed with their communication throughout the entire process - he kept me informed at every step to update me when the underfloor heat mat was ordered, when it arrived, to confirm that the appointments etc. which made everything so easy for me as the customer. We originally contacted Dave at HeatElec for a quote on a EnSuite bathroom re-model. Dave responded promptly to our email and he was accommodating in scheduling in a visit to suit us. Dave was friendly from the offset ...and had a sense of humour (quite rare these days!). He listened to, and answered, our questions and made thorough notes on our requirements. We also asked Dave if he could service our Hot Water Tank and also that we were looking at having a Nest Heating Control system installed. After inspecting our system he confirmed that it was suitable and compatible with the Nest System. Dave got back to us with a fair and reasonable and detailed quote within a week. We put off the bathroom re-model but definitely wanted him to go ahead with the Service and to supply and install the Nest System and we agreed a date for the work to be done. Dave turned up on time and completed the servicing of the hot water tank and then set about removing the existing controller and setting up the dual zone Nest System. He spent time with us going through the programming of the system. Throughout the day, Dave was always cheerful and explained what he was doing and happily answered any questions. Dave and HeatElec is certainly someone whose services we will use again when we need them, and would certainly recommend (...and have already done so!) him to others.

I’ve had a fantastic experience with HeatElec and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Dave initially came out to carry out a boiler service, which he completed quickly, efficiently, and with no fuss at all. Impressed with his professionalism, I subsequently booked him to install a new consumer unit and carry out an EICR on our older listed property. Once again, Dave was excellent from start to finish—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient in his work. What really stood out was how approachable and patient he was. He took the time to clearly explain everything, talk through any issues, and answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. The quality of the work was outstanding, and it’s reassuring to know everything has been completed to such a high standard. The hot water pressure in my townhouse wasn’t great, which meant I struggled to use the shower on the top floor as the water cylinder was two floors below. After considering a number of options, the easiest and cheapest solution was to install a hot water pump. From the outset, I was very impressed with David’s knowledge and experience. He advised what needed to be done to ensure legal requirements were met. David encountered a few obstacles, which he thought would be an issue, but each time we discussed options until a suitable solution was found. I was provided with a quote before any work was carried out, and he arrived on the agreed date. My property was treated with respect, and he and Alec ensured that everything was cleaned up before they left. I would not hesitate to use HeatElec again.

Dave was recommended to me by my neighbour and so glad we decided to go ahead with his quote. Very reasonable quote and actually cost less than expected. Bonus! Dave is extremely polite and professional, came when he said he would and called when he needed to check details of the job. We thought we needed a whole house rewire but ended up being about 3/4 instead and Dave was honest about this which was reflected in the end price. When we moved into our house we quickly compiled a list of electrical tasks and found Dave online. Thank goodness! He was brilliant, listened and advised and prepared a detailed quote (which he stuck to), and was at our house for around 3 days completing a range of work including installing external lights, a new distribution board, additional sockets, relocating lights and switches. All very well done and 8 months later (sorry for the delay) we are very happy with the work. We would definitely use him again. Thanks!

Our shower pump, which supplied all hot and cold non mains water, would not automatically turn off and thus required replacement. Dave visited to check what was required then arranged a mutually agreeable date to carry the work out. Dave was a very friendly engineer and carried out the work quickly and tidily. He also fitted new isolating valves, which were required due to the old ones in the loft (35 yrs old) not functioning adequately. Was able to pay by credit card contactlessly, very convenient. Some time soon we will have to replace our gas boiler with some sort of electric system, Dave was also happy to discuss his views on this and to advise.

David, from HeatELEC fitted my new gas combi boiler. He looked at the work to be done, emailed a detailed and competitive quote. I am very pleased with the work carried out by David. He was polite and efficient. He explained everything he was doing to me. The work took a shorter time than I was expecting which was great. I highly recommend David and his work.

I had booked Dave for work at my mum's house, she had no hot water and some old storage heaters with issues. Dave found the issues and explained what was needed to be done to get it all fixed and rectified previous work that was not done to standard by someone else. My mum felt comfortable with Dave working in the house and was very happy with the work he had done and he has fixed all issues that he had quoted for. I have now booked Dave in for work at my own house next week.

Needed to fix some problems left behind by builders (FMB membership means nothing as does trustmark!) from our rennovation, including a leak from the bathroom to the kitchen. David was very understanding and helpful and managed to solve the leak very simply. He kept his appointments. Was a pleasant presence and reassured us. Highly recommended.

Dave came and fitted a new light. Then the following day my shower failed. Dave came back we ordered the shower and he came and fitted it. Dave is very helpful and friendly and the work was done quickly. On the day he fitted the shower we realised the shower tray was leaking and needed resealing. Dave recommended a colleague and he arrived a few hours later and resealed the shower tray. I would recommend you look no further than Dave and heatelec brilliant service.

David responded quickly to a request for a quotation following the failure of an existing boiler in a tenanted property. It was necessary to change from a gravity fed system to a new combo boiler.His estimate was on a par with other quotes but he proposed a really good boiler with a 10 year warranty which made his quote better value. He has a good knowledge of the regulations and carried out very neat work. No leaks! Installation was very soon after the quotation was accepted and no surprising 'add ons' occurred. The system is now performing very well. David is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

I needed a new boiler and a bathroom refurbishment. I was pleased to find HeatElec (on Which Trusted Traders) who would be able to coordinate and carry out both projects. The work was carried out extremely competently. I only have one bathroom so it was important to me to minimise the time without facilities – The work was well planned to achieve this and Dave worked some Saturday’s to minimise disruption. He put a good team together and all areas (tiling, plastering, electrical work) were carried out to a high standard. I am really happy with the Viessman boiler and love the Hive app. Dave was very good at keeping me informed at every stage (from initial viewing/quotation to end of work).
