Heating Scotland have been making central heating affordable and efficient for over 15 years now.
We install and maintain domestic and commercial gas boilers and also electric boilers.
We are a small company based in East Lothian, covering Edinburgh and the Lothians. We provide a level of customer service seldom seen in many of the larger companies.
We are an independent heating installer that thrives on word of mouth by putting the customer first. We take a real pride in every job we do and we only ever install reliable equipment in your home.
We are accredited installers for all of the main gas and electric boiler manufacturers including Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Viessmann, Vokera, Trianco, OSO, Heatrae Sadia and EHC. What this means to the customer is the added benefit of a minimum 5 year warranty on any system installed by us.
Unlike other companies, everything we install is covered for a minimum of 5 years, not just the boiler. We can warranties of up to 10 years on most boilers we fit

Absolute brilliant service
Ive been using Heating Scotland for several years to service my boiler (they original installed). All round excellent company and great communication. I also have a granny annex(Dadpad) as well which was a total turn key solution. This fully electric system heating system started to go on th blink, so I had Heating Scotland do a service and they found several issues with the installation some quite major but all resolved now. I wouldn't hesitant to recommend Heating Scotland.

I needed a boiler service. Heating Scotland were prompt in replying to my initial enquiry, offering several dates and times to suit. Communication by email and phone was courteous, clear, and helpful. The service was done on time, efficiently, and with no mess. Electronic feedback on the boiler performance was available within an hour. I felt confident in all dealings with the company and intend to use them again for a bigger job.

I contacted Heating Scotland Ltd around a week before my annual boiler service was due to state that my boiler was not producing hot water. They promptly arranged for an engineer to come to my home to identify the problem. The engineer stated that the timer switch was faulty; he replaced the switch and informed me that there would be no charge for the replacement as it was still under warranty. The engineer then did a full service of my heating system. He was courteous throughout the visit. When I received my invoice, I was delighted to find out that the cost was not only reasonable but that I hadn’t been charged any more than a standard service charge. This is an excellent company to do business with. I give them five stars!

Our hot water tank developed a leak, meaning we had only mains water for a number of days. Other plumbers said the leak was not repairable and suggested installing a new tank in another location at considerable expense and disruption. After an initial mix-up over appointments, Heating Scotland attended promptly, and Steve suggested a repair method which was worth trying before considering other options. He sourced suitable parts, and Aidan successfully fitted them the next day. The team stayed onsite to make sure the system refilled correctly without leaks or airlocks. The repair costs less than the emergency plumber, who merely shut off the supply to the tank. Our thanks to Steve and the guys and to Shirley, who kept us informed. We would certainly use Heating Scotland again and can thoroughly recommend them.

Heating Scotland Ltd came to repair a leaking stopcock and fit a new power shower for us. This is the first time I've used them. Their customer service was exceptional - being able to chat to Shirley, who was so friendly, helpful, and accessible, responded quickly to emails, and set up everything. They were able to offer a visit very soon after my calling them, arrived exactly on time, and did a good job sorting the leak and installing the shower. The price was good and was as estimated in advance. Will definitely be using them again. Many thanks.

Had a high pressure flush of heating system but unfortunately elderly boiler still had problems, so sought advice. Steve has been really helpful in both issues I’ve had and recommended a new boiler. Shirley in the office also very helpful with queries I had, great communication about quote and booking. As before the team on the day were prompt, friendly, professional and tidy. New boiler installed quickly, I could hear the engineer educating his assistant and explaining what he was doing! He was happy to spend time going over controls and maintenance. Programmed the thermostat and checked everything done to my satisfaction before leaving. Follow-up also excellent with certification and service plan. I feel very confident in their technical work and customer care is exceptional.

Heating Scotland's professionalism and expertise helped me sort out a concern that there might be a leak in my radiator/boiler system affecting my neighbor below. Heating Scotland Ltd inspected my system and the area of concern for leaks as well as my neighbor's ceiling and floor below me. To further assuage our concerns, at my request, they returned for an additional inspection with thermal testing. This put all of us to rest. We could see that everything was in proper working order and completely dry. Heating Scotland's technicians were the epitome of the highest standards of professionalism which gave me the greatest sense of assurance. This was the second time Heating Scotland came to service my boiler system. Previously they replaced the computer chip board and my system has been working well ever since. I really appreciate and trust in Heating Scotland!

From the first phone call, until the boiler repair was done, I found the staff from Heating Scotland Ltd dependable and helpful, willing to travel quite a distance to do the repair job. A few years back when my Thermaflow electric boiler went on the blink I couldn't get anyone locally who was willing to work on the boiler. I found Heating Scotland online and they came and fixed the Thermaflow boiler, and since then I have always used this company. Service visit booked and confirmed with friendly helpful staff. The engineer arrived on time and completed the service activity, explaining some aspects of the operation of the system ( which the previous supplier was unable to do. ) A couple of safety recommendations were made which I am happy to progress following prompt receipt of detailed quotation. We live in Edinburgh and chose Heating Scotland to install a new boiler 2 years ago. They provided an excellent, efficient and friendly service and a few minor teething problems were resolved very quickly (which is not always the case!). We have been customers of Heating Scotland Ltd for several years, having used them initially to install a new gas boiler. We have subsequently had new radiators fitted in some of our rooms and have the boiler serviced annually. The staff are friendly but professional and any work arranged is done on the agreed day and at the agreed time. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and will offer advice as to which boiler/radiator will be most suitable to meet your requirements.
