Removed 15 year old bosch combi boiler and installed a new bosch Worcester combi boiler and a new flue. Install team are always punctual and polite. The office staff are very helpful . That's why I use Heelas heating. Probably not the cheapest

The quick review is that the quality and trust is extremely high and though the price is not the cheapest I won’t use anyone else. I first used Heelas to replace a dead boiler. What stood out was that boiler their recommendation was considered and highly appropriate to my needs. Others were quoting boilers that were overkill and not warning me of the gas usage implication of that. Their solution has absolutely been the right one with not a single down day 2.5 years. We did have some installation teething problems but they got sorted with no fuss. The way they handled it made me feel values as a customer despite that I was querying cosmetic elements of the installation (I can be fussy). I have since used them to service family boilers and rental boilers. Always efficient and friendly. Most recently they have resolved issues on 2 boilers (not installed by them) that had been causing me much frustration. One was as part of a normal service and was spotted by the engineer without me even prompting them. And the other was a recommendation of an electrician that they used on boilers who solved a problem that another electrician, and even Worcester Bosch couldn’t find on 2 visits. Can’t tell you how much I appreciated that as it helped my elderly father when he had no hot water or heating. Working with many tradespeople, these are amongst the best I have used in 20 years.

Two of Heelas' team fitted a new boiler and upgraded the radiator valves. The whole job was professionally carried out, from the initial inspection through to completing the task. We are very pleased with the result.

Our 33 year-old oil boiler died, so we needed a speedy replacement. We got 2 estimates, and accepted Dan's (although it was higher) because it specified work to be carried out precisely ( including removing old flue through roof); included VAT; and we use Heelas regularly to service our solar (hot water)panels. Communication with Nicola, in the office, and Dan, on site, was good. The work was carried out over 4 days, as Dan had suggested in his quote, by Chris, with occasional visits from others. Chris commissioned the boiler, and showed us how to operate the Controllers, before leaving. We have not needed to run the boiler yet, but Chris reassured us we could ring them for further instructions, if we forget before it turns cold. Good job.

We had a problem with our oil boiler. This was rescheduled at short notice. Then there were 3 visits with no warning about a potential tripling of cost. Unnecessary parts were changed, then taken away as I protested that they did not make any difference but still charged for them. I had to stay at home for 3 days, waiting around. Whoever they sent spent more time on the phone in the garden (our village has poor mobile signal) than doing any actual work inside. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We've known Dan for years. Heelas maintain our boiler and also our solar hot water system. They were the obvious choice for a new boiler installation, and did a great job.

We decided to replace our old boiler before the net-zero omnishambles takes hold and, as Heelas had been servicing our existing heating system for 14 years, we asked for a quote. Dan Heelas himself did the survey and made the recommendations. The price was acceptable and included a Bosch condensing boiler, new pump, magnetic junk collector and wireless hall thermostat. Fitting, rewiring, etc took two days most of which was spent trying to get the old flue out of an eighteen-inch thick solid stone wall. As it is summer the central heating has not really kicked in yet but the hot water heats up in just a couple of minutes after morning showers although that is backed up by solar hot water roof panels. The work was professionally carried out by the guys, tidily, cleaning up each day and leaving everything spick and span. I cannot highly enough recommend Heelas Heating and Renewables. A real no-brainer if you are considering a replacement heating system.

We were very happy with the professional and cheerful service we received from Dan Heelas and team. The plumbing and wiring was complicated as we have a zoned heating system but both the updated additional plumbing and the complex re-wiring were undertaken with good humour and a professional approach to detail. The team turned up exactly on times agreed in advance and were amenable to blocked times when engineers in the house would have caused us a problem. New outside brickwork (where a large opening from an old boiler needed to be reduced in size) was carefully matched with the existing house wire-cut London brick. I would unreservedly recommend the Heelas team.

We can thoroughly recommend Dan Heelas and his team. We needed to have a water softener installed, and approached Dan as he was so highly rated as a Which? Trusted Trader. We have not been disappointed! From the word go, communication has been excellent and Dan himself visited us first to find out exactly what we wanted/needed. He is obviously an expert at what he does, but explained everything very clearly so that we were absolutely sure about every aspect of the process. This continued subsequently when his colleague Richard came to carry out the installation; he was extremely informative, courteous and easy to have around. The whole experience was enhanced by communications with Nicola, who is also extremely pleasant and efficient, and was very helpful when we needed to change the date of an appointment - what a dream team!

Dan's team did a great job in replacing my old Worcester Bosch boiler with a new one. The disruption to my home was minimal, and the work was done within the time that had been proposed, which required a later stay on site than might have been expected when the job was agreed. Richard and Tom were unfailingly courteous. Heelas Heating has looked after my heating and hot water system since it was installed in 2010. Their response to emergency call outs over the years has always been prompt. I have no hesitation in recommending Heelas Heating.

From first contact to closure of the work, they have always been precise, polite and professional. Quick quote all included with no surprises. The work was clean and precise, adapting where needed to the situation in an excellent way. The installers were extremely friendly and nice. Obviously competent and flexible. The result was fantastic and had minimum impact to the house and environment and then they took care of all documentation and warranties. They reassured me about the yearly service. My Worcester combi oil boiler was constantly losing pressure following the recommendation of a neighbour I called Heelas who came out within a day or so to take a look and diagnose the issue, thankfully after ten to fifteen minutes of investigative work, they were able to fix the issue on the spot and the boiler has been working perfectly ever since (his visit was now one month ago). Very knowledgeable and very pleased with the service.

Heelas came to replace The Boiler. They dismantled and disposed of the existing boiler, cleanly and efficiently. They then installed, tested and delivered a working boiler. It was achieved to schedule and budget, we were delighted about this. Heelas stood out because of their efficiency, cleanliness and obvious knowledge. They kept us up to date of progress and even when there was a small hitch was able to reassure that everything would be fine, which it was. We would have no hesitation in recommending Heelas in the future. We are also delighted they will be servicing our boiler going forward! Well done to everybody involved.

Heelas Heating and Renewables have been looking after our boilers (house and pool) and our supplemental solar heating systems (house and pool) for a number of years. We have been very impressed by the friendly, efficient and thoughtful service provided by Heelas Heating in all areas. Latest work, that was largely completed today (9/12/21), was the upgrading of our house gas boiler and associated fittings and fitments.

Heelas have already installed 2 x Worcester bosch gas boilers here and visit annually to service them. This 3rd boiler has been to replace an ageing boiler in an extension. As in the past the work was completed professionally and on schedule. There were no issues and the excellent team were most courteous and kept me up to date on progress and always asked my preference on points of detail. I have no hesitation in recommending Dan Heelas' company.

Heelas installed our boiler 9 yrs ago. Since that time we have had the best of service support from them. It may not always need a call-out. Sometimes a text or call will fix the issue, but Dan and his team have proved exceptionally helpful with even the most trivial or critical of issues. We tried moving to the manufacturer of our boiler for service but came straight back to Heelas within a few months because they have been reliable and professional at every turn. The alternative was not by any means. If you want a local professional who will take care of things for you and not let you down ….this is the company to go for.

Everything was done on time and the team were careful, friendly and helped sort slight unexpected problems with no fuss. We would highly recommend them especially if you live locally.

Dan Heelas was very helpful during the initial inquiry and provided a very comprehensive breakdown of the work to be done and the work program. Arrangements for the work were agreed at a mutually convenient time and we were happy with the time scal. Richard, the engineer did an excellent job despite some very difficult requirements. The existing system included a tank which we wanted to retain and this required sections of the existing pipework to be changed to allow a fully pumped system to be installed. We also wanted as much of the control gear installed in a cupboard as possible and this he was able to achieve. Richard was always careful to ensure as little disruption as possible and cleaned up each evening. We have been very pleased with the resulting installation and it seems to work as well as promised. Communication with the company has been excellent throughout and we would certainly recommend them.

Dan fitted a heating and cooling unit in a home office for us and we are really pleased with it. Works a treat and the whole process went smoothly, nothing was too much trouble and Dan was friendly, trustworthy and seemed very knowledgeable. Feel very reassured that if there are any issues them we can go back any time and get them sorted without issues - invaluable peace of mind, especially for heating! Thanks Dan and team.

I contacted Heelas in mid-January, having previously used them for our annual boiler service. As always they were prompt in getting back to me and arranging a time to look at our faulty boiler. When it transpired we needed to have a new boiler installed, they were great in getting this arranged for us as soon as possible. We literally had the boiler installed the next day. They came in early in the morning, were very respectful of our social distancing wishes, worked tirelessly and had our boiler installed the same day. To be honest I can't fault them and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone who would like to hire a reliable and competent company. Their admin team is lovely too and always super helpful. Heelas Renewables did an excellent job for us. Dan Heelas visited us to carry out a survey of our heating and offered solutions. Communication throughout was excellent and a quote with suggested extras followed very soon. They carried out the work a short while later. The engineer, Richard, who completed the job was fantastic. He was very friendly, cooperative and thoughtful and spent a lot of time explaining what he was doing and making sure we were happy with everything. He was very well organised and tidy. The electricians who attended to complete that side of the job were great too. Altogether a thoroughly satisfactory experience and we are delighted with the outcome.
