Dan Heelas was very helpful during the initial inquiry and provided a very comprehensive breakdown of the work to be done and the work program. Arrangements for the work were agreed at a mutually convenient time and we were happy with the time scal. Richard, the engineer did an excellent job despite some very difficult requirements. The existing system included a tank which we wanted to retain and this required sections of the existing pipework to be changed to allow a fully pumped system to be installed. We also wanted as much of the control gear installed in a cupboard as possible and this he was able to achieve. Richard was always careful to ensure as little disruption as possible and cleaned up each evening. We have been very pleased with the resulting installation and it seems to work as well as promised. Communication with the company has been excellent throughout and we would certainly recommend them.

We were very happy with the professional and cheerful service we received from Dan Heelas and team. The plumbing and wiring was complicated as we have a zoned heating system but both the updated additional plumbing and the complex re-wiring were undertaken with good humour and a professional approach to detail. The team turned up exactly on times agreed in advance and were amenable to blocked times when engineers in the house would have caused us a problem. New outside brickwork (where a large opening from an old boiler needed to be reduced in size) was carefully matched with the existing house wire-cut London brick. I would unreservedly recommend the Heelas team.

We chose Heelas for a boiler replacement as they are local to us. The quote was competitive. The engineer (Richard) arrived on time and was very respectful of our newly refurbished wooden floors and laid covers for protection. Richard was keen to involve me at each stage and sought assurances for placing the boiler and new piping. A problem was found with the old expansion tank and a new one was sourced at additional cost. The electric for the old boiler was incompatible with the new boiler and Heelas arranged for an electrician to come that day to remedy the problem, also at additional cost. No issue with these additional requirements as this was explained in the quote. The work completed was to a very high standard and we are very pleased with the new boiler and would recommend Heelas based on our experience. The room was left clean and tidy. The following day Dan Heelas visited to inspect the work and to ensure we’re happy with everything. Our bill followed the next day with the additional work properly itemised.

Our 33 year-old oil boiler died, so we needed a speedy replacement. We got 2 estimates, and accepted Dan's (although it was higher) because it specified work to be carried out precisely ( including removing old flue through roof); included VAT; and we use Heelas regularly to service our solar (hot water)panels. Communication with Nicola, in the office, and Dan, on site, was good. The work was carried out over 4 days, as Dan had suggested in his quote, by Chris, with occasional visits from others. Chris commissioned the boiler, and showed us how to operate the Controllers, before leaving. We have not needed to run the boiler yet, but Chris reassured us we could ring them for further instructions, if we forget before it turns cold. Good job.

Quick response to my initial enquiry and then a pretty seamless process to get a new boiler installed. Good communication at each stage and job was completed quickly and tidily.
