We are a a family firm of roofing specialists, established in 1961, now in its second generation with the third generation in training.
We are three brothers, Leigh Hellings, Glen Hellings and Sam Hellings.
We specialise in roofing repairs, everything from one tile up to new valleys and box gutters, new guttering etc.

Roof leaking into bedroom. Stripped out box gutter, redecked with timber, fitted new box gutter, underfelt and lead. Replaced tiles. Good communication. Turned up on time and kept to agreed quote costs. Showed photos of damage and once work done showed the actual damaged parts. Showed photos of when work completed. 13 year guarantee.

Hellings Brothers completed the works (replacing an old Velux window where the flashing was leaking, fixing and repointing the lead work on a rear chimney and replacing the strip flashing on the front chimney) in a professional manner and even came in under the original quote. I was impressed by their punctuality, clear explanations, unassuming attitude and felt I was in safe and trusted hands.

The brothers repaired a leaking flat roof and blocked drainpipe. They literally came the next day after I called and it was sorted. Great work, very polite and clear transparency on what was needed and cost. I would highly recommend them.

I used Hellings for the first time this year. They dealt promptly with loose tiles above conservatory roof. Considerate to neighbours property where scaffold was errected. Also kindly cleared out gutters to both properties adjecent to scaffold. Very helpfully provided before, during and after photos of the work. Professional, polite and clean and tidy workmaship. Would not hesitite to recommend their services.

We have used Hellings Brothers for a few years. They have helped many times after bad building works. They have worked various parts of the roof. The work has always been to a high standard and sorted out the problem first time. They are very organised, on time, tidy and very efficient. The quotes have always been accurate. If they haven’t got time they will help out with a solution until they can return. Will very happily recommend them. I even got them on WhatsApp.

We are very pleased with the work by Glen and Sam . They repointed our chimney, and chased in lead flashing. They also repointed the main ridge of the roof. The work was completed to a high standard, both men working on a very hot day. The price was as quoted. It was worth waiting six months from quote to completion as we are very satisfied. They are both pleasant and polite. Left the working area clean and tidy.
