Hellings Brothers have done two different jobs for us in the past year both of which were completed to a very high standard. The most recent work involved removing the old soaker system and fitting new lead soakers against the window corner. Then to reinstate tiles cementing the verge back in place. The work was completed the same day to their usual high standards. They arrived on time and left the drive very clean. We were very happy with the completed work.

We have used this firm before and can thoroughly recommend them. Following initial call they came same day and gave an estimate. Work was completed a week later.

The rain ingress around my boiler flue has been completely prevented by Hellings Brothers cleaning off all the debis from the flue and applying a flexible "ACRYPOL" sealant around the the boiler flue. As requested, the scaffolding to access the 3rd floor roof was correctly put up, so as not to restrict access to my neighbours's garage, on the 28 Oct 2025 and removed the next day 29 Oct 2025.

The job on our old roof entailed checking for slipped slates, to clean out the gutters and flush down pipes. They came on an agreed day and time and completed the works for the agreed quote. We have been using Hellings Brothers services for 26 years. Their work is extremely good and efficient. They always courteous and happy to offer good and knowledgeable advice.

Having been ripped off by a roofing company before I was nervous about calling another one. This experience could not have been more different. An immediate response to my mail enquiry, followed by a next-day inspection, and although a small repair, it was carried out the following day. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough.

Completed various roof, gutter, and pipe repairs as agreed. In addition, they replaced a broken tile and carried out some minor repairs to the rear extension valley. Excellent service and extremely considerate. No hidden extra charges. Extremely satisfied. No hesitation to recommend them.

I found the Helling Brothers , which are local to myself , via Which Trusted Traders. They are without doubt the most professional hassle free team I have come across. From start to finish (at first doing an emergency repair to the flat roof) They then carried out work for a permanent replacement to the leaded flat roof at the back of the property over the bathroom , plus replacing , at the front the gables. Cannot recommend highly enough and would never hesitate to use again.

After an initial inspection and agreeing that our roof lights needed replacing Lee and his team worked swiftly to make a good job of that and some minor repairs. Everything was clearly explained and care during the work and clearing afterwards left me admiring their professionalism.

I really appreciated having Hellings Brothers repair my roof. They were so patient with all my questions about it and then very efficient when they came to do the work.

The estimate to repair the leaking roof was provided promptly and they arrived to repair the roof at the agreed time. The roof doesn't leak now. The invoice was for slightly less than the estimate. Hellings Brothers have a good reputation locally, and I'd use their services again without hesitation.

Quote visit arranged by returned call. Professional quotation received soon after site visit. Although long lead time quoted (3 months) to do the job due to their work load, were courteous when called to arrange a mutually convenient date and time to do the job after 6 weeks. Arrived on time on the date agreed (2 months after quote to the day!) and completed the job. Tidy job and cleared after themselves. Looks good though not tested but I am sure they would return if needed but trust their years of experience that it will function as expected.

My gutters were cleared of debris and the downpipes were checked for blockages and cleared at the front and the rear of the house. They were very efficient and tidy as usual.

The Hellings Bros roofing were very professional, polite and fully open with the work they were going to undertake and also once completed. They were respectful and honest. Cleared and tidied. Arrived on time.

I had a leak into the front bedroom by the chimney breast. Sam from Hellings Brothers came round assessed the problem and sent me an estimate within an hour. He explained that they were really busy but he would try and fit my job in as soon as he could. He was as good as his word and turned up on the date arranged at the time specified. Sam and his colleague removed the cement fillets from my half of chimney and fitted new lead soakers and new lead flashings. I also had some weeds growing around the chimney which they kindly removed as well as replacing three tiles for me. I was very impressed with their workmanship and the way he explained everything that they had done, with photos too. They were polite and very professional, I highly recommend them.

We found these guys to be exemplary in all they did. They completed the work to time, on budget and did a first rate job. They also left our place neater and tidier than they probably found it. Cannot praise them too highly. Extremely pleased with their work. 5 stars from us.

Early 2024 and a storm dislodged a concrete ridge tile which bounced 4 times before coming to rest. Each bounce led to about 4 broken tiles, and water ingress into my loft in a difficult place. Leigh and Sam attended and repaired it very quickly, quicker than other roofers which I'd contacted. Their quote was very competitive, and they worked quickly, cleanly and without a fuss. Considerate, and respectful, these chaps were first rate. As for pricing, very fair, and the price and estimate tied in with the work that was required. A good experience, and I'll be asking them to do some other routine repair work that'd been reluctant to get done before.

I have used Hellings Bros previously and didn't hesitate to contact them again after suffering some roof damage during storm Henck. They responded very quickly, came and gave quote, arranged to complete repair, turned up as arranged and completed job within 5 days of first contacting them. Very efficient, good communication and polite. Final invoice as per quote. Would thoroughly recommend them and use them again.

We had work undertaken including repointing of ridge tiles and chimneys, new and re-levelled guttering and downpipe repairs, new airbrick rain covers fitted, and repairs to wooden and tiled gable frontage, including fixing and painting. Leigh, Sam, Glenn and Will all arrived on time and well prepared, were extremely polite and friendly, and informed us at all stages what they were doing, and how - which is really appreciated and often missing. All the work was completed within the day, and with the weather closing in; despite the time pressure, everything was done thoroughly and with care. We will definitely use Hellings Brothers again. Roof leaking into bedroom. Stripped out box gutter, redecked with timber, fitted new box gutter, underfelt and lead. Replaced tiles. Good communication. Turned up on time and kept to agreed quote costs. Showed photos of damage and once work done showed the actual damaged parts. Showed photos of when work completed. 13 year guarantee.

Hellings Brothers completed the works (replacing an old Velux window where the flashing was leaking, fixing and repointing the lead work on a rear chimney and replacing the strip flashing on the front chimney) in a professional manner and even came in under the original quote. I was impressed by their punctuality, clear explanations, unassuming attitude and felt I was in safe and trusted hands.

New joists around and across garage and New corrugated sheets fitted. Very professional family business which we have now used on 3 different occasions. Very professional, tidy and polite workers and we would highly recommend them. They were very punctual and we are very happy with their work

The brothers repaired a leaking flat roof and blocked drainpipe. They literally came the next day after I called and it was sorted. Great work, very polite and clear transparency on what was needed and cost. I would highly recommend them.
