My name is Stuart and I have over 15 years experience in the gas central heating industry. I Install all types of heating systems to suit all customer requirements. I pride myself on a punctual, neat and meticulous approach to my boiler installations, where systems have been thoroughly flushed and accurately sized to achieve the most efficient energy consumption.
Due to being a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer, I am able to offer customers up to a 10 year parts and labour guarantee on my installations, giving customers great peace of mind well into the future.
I also provide a thorough post installation backup service after installation, providing timely routine maintenance and appliance servicing when required.

Stuart came very promptly at the appointment time to service the boiler. He worked efficiently and on diagnosing a fault he ordered the necessary parts quickly and came 3 days later to effect the repair. There was a problem with hot water in the taps afterwards and he returned in the afternoon to sort it.

Stuart's latest job for me was intended to be to change a shower mixer valve - but he ended up having to replace and re-plumb the shower pump as well. As ever, his work was excellent, his attitude professional, and he charged me a very fair price. The first time I employed Stuart he combined two heating and hot water systems into one, you can see some of the pipework in the large picture on his page here (with the dumbbell in the foreground). That was a challenging task which took several weeks, a job several other plumbers had turned down. I have used him ever since, and would recommend him unhesitatingly.

We are so glad our friend and neighbour recommended Stuart to us after he had worked with him on house renovations some years ago. Stuart arrives when he says he will, is clean and tidy when he works and he really knows his stuff. When he serviced one year old gas fire for the first time, he even discovered that the original gas fitter had put a part in the wrong way round. We used to have a contract for emergency repairs and annual service with one of the large national companies; however we found that Stuart was a lot more inexpensive than they were and also more efficient at fixing things. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this personable young man to anyone.

Stuart carried out a service on our boiler. Previously we had an expensive annual contract with a home boiler care company which was supposed to service our boiler every year but didn't. Stuart arrived on time, carried out a full and complete service and provided full feedback on the condition of our boiler. Stuart cleaned out the burner and other parts, cleaned out the magnetic filter, carried out the full safety check and checked everything carefully including the controls, pumps, valves etc. ( I mention this because the last service we had from our previous home boiler care company consisted of a quick exhaust gasses safety check, 10 minutes of filling in forms on a PC and nothing else! ) We have cancelled the expensive annual contract with our home boiler care company and will rely on Stuart to keep our boiler serviced and running in the future! Excellent friendly service at a good price from Henshaw Gas and Plumbing.

Stuart recently fitted our new boiler and converted our heating to fit the new combi boiler. He was a true professional from the very first contact: quick to respond to our enquiry, clearly knowledgeable and willing to talk through our options. My Worcester/Bosch 30i combi boiler was due for servicing and I picked out Henshaw Gas & Plumbing for the good reviews as a Worcester/Bosch registered installer. Stuart arrived to start the job and immediately noticed the boiler had not been fixed to the wall securely by the original installer. It was loose and potentially at risk of coming away from the wall. He disconnected the boiler, then rehung it in a safe and secure manner with correct size fittings. He then carried out the boiler service. In my opinion the whole job was done efficiently to a high professional standard and this includes quick telephone call response and all queries thoroughly explained in a friendly manner. I highly recommend his work.

Our annual boiler/central heating check was due. As Stuart had supplied and fitted our new boiler last year and we were so pleased with his work, we ended the service agreement with one of the national companies and went with Stuart instead. Also we had a new gas fire last year before we knew Stuart and this needs to have a part replaced each year under the warrant terms, so he did this for us at the same time. We had originally booked in with him for the following week; however he rang and said he could do it earlier as he was doing some work for our next door neighbour (on our recommendation) so we said yes. He arrived promptly, carried out the work needed, putting a dust sheet down where necessary. He also discovered that the chap who had put our gas fire in had installed a part the wrong way round. We would recommend Stuart Henshaw to anyone; he is polite, professional, friendly and we feel he really knows what he is doing.

Supply and fit a new gas combi boiler. From the initial telephone conversation to the completion of the work Stuart was professional throughout. He explained exactly what the situation was with our old boiler and the options available. We decided to replace the existing one and Stuart supplied us with a very competitive quote. He started the work on the agreed date and he kept us informed throughout the process. The job was completed by lunchtime the next day exactly as described and on the agreed budget. Would not hesitate to use Stuart again and highly recommend him.
