My name is Stuart and I have over 15 years experience in the gas central heating industry. I Install all types of heating systems to suit all customer requirements. I pride myself on a punctual, neat and meticulous approach to my boiler installations, where systems have been thoroughly flushed and accurately sized to achieve the most efficient energy consumption.

Due to being a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer, I am able to offer customers up to a 10 year parts and labour guarantee on my installations, giving customers great peace of mind well into the future.

I also provide a thorough post installation backup service after installation, providing timely routine maintenance and appliance servicing when required.

I cover the Stockport, Manchester and High peak area and if you require a free no obligation quotation or just some friendly helpful advice, please don't hesitate to get in contact. I do my best to suit my customers timeframes and can work around the busiest of lifestyles.

Replacement of back boiler for combi boiler

Stuart did a fantastic job to replace our old back boiler in the living room for a new combi boiler in the cellar. The plumbing in our house was slightly unusual and Stuart did a great job of understanding and modifying it to suit our new boiler with minimal disruption (a few carpets and floor boards lifted in localised spots and put back in place as though he hadn't been there). Stuart responded quickly and helpfully to any queries I had in the lead up to him replacing the boiler and he kept me regularly up to date with his arrangements. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Henshaw Gas and Plumbing installed our boiler seven years ago and have regularly serviced it at the stipulated intervals (annually). They arrive at the agreed times and complete the work according to the schedule. They are efficient, clean and tidy. If there are any issues to be resolved these are clearly explained and appropriate action agreed and carried out. The service that they offer is value for money.

I had a new premium boiler fitted locally, however after 18 months there were problems the original installer was unwilling and unable to fix. After reading reviews about Henshaw Plumbing I contacted Stuart who was able to attend shortly afterwards. Within minutes he had an explanation of the fault, what do replace and how and when he was able to do it. I received an immediate quote and an appointment for the work to be completed. Stuart arrived punctually and proceeded to repair the boiler in a very tidy and efficient manner. While he was there I asked him to also replace a thermostat, not previously agreed. This was done yet our invoice was still the original quote, as Stuart informed us the job had taken a little less time than first envisioned. I wish all tradesmen were this honest. After the repair Stuart did not leave until he was satisfied the boiler and the thermostat were working correctly and all radiators were balanced and bled. Stuart is extremely honest, and has a very high standard of communication, integrity, competence and cleanliness. I have every confidence in Stuart, so much so, I am pleased to say, not only is he taking over our plumbing/ heating arrangements going forward, from the previous installer, but also our parents requirements as well. We can’t fault Stuart/Henshaws in any way. If you want a first class job at a reasonable price don’t waste your time elsewhere, just get Henshaws on the job, simple as that. So glad we did. New boiler
A replacement boiler fitted. Done exactly as promised, price and date provided was adhered to. First impression very positive, clearly understood my needs, very professional. Within a short time we had water back on and we had heat the first night. The job was completed by lunch time on the second day, brilliant.

The Worcester Bosch boiler was installed by Henshaw Gas & Plumbing in 2017. It has just had it's third service which was done efficiently as always. I have had no problems with the boiler and would recommend Stuart.

Work done - Replacement of failed combination boiler. Addition of smart controller. Stuart was reliable, prompt, clear and fair in advising and providing a quotation. The quotation detailed each element and so gave full transparency of all work and goods before we accepted. The fact that Stuart is accredited with boiler manufacturer was a great help and reassurance. The work was scheduled and completed on time and without any problems for us. We are delighted with Stuart and Henshaw Gas. We have asked them to carry out the annual service and will be certainly call on them if we have any other work.

Stuart fitted a Worcester Bosch 24 RI boiler. He removed and disposed of our old boiler. He also flushed out the radiators added an inhibitor to protect against corrosion. All the work was completed very efficiently in one day and we are very pleased with the result.
