The problem with our Central Heating system was dealt with within 24 hours of enquiry. We are very pleased with this excellent company and it is good to have all functioning normally again.

We were entirely satisfied with Stuart's approach, attitude and workmanship. He laid out very clearly what he would do according to the Bosch Worcester recommended schedule of work and then completed it all neatly, efficiently and effectively. He had to work on a couple of cold days but did his best to keep us warm while he worked, and in addition, he had to cope with COVID-19 restrictions including our being around in the house the whole time (wearing masks and keeping socially distanced). We agreed on some extra TRVs for which he quoted before fitting. He called back immediately I told him about a small leak the day after completion, which he attended to straight away. The final result is an efficient boiler installation well able to provide a cosy home economically and quietly.

Not for the first time, Stuart from Henshaw Gas & Plumbing completed a job quickly and expertly, navigating any small issues without complaint. This time it was a gas hob ordered by me but without my being able to check cut-out dimensions/gas feed/electrical supply beforehand. Knowing that Stuart had refitted the previous hob after I completely redid a kitchen I knew he wouldn't let any small obstacles stop him (I have had poor experiences with supplier-organised tradespeople) and he was happy to arrive with tools for cut-out or cabinet mods.. I live in Italy so the hob was fitted without me being present and I was able to trust Stuart completely. He's also a nice, friendly guy :-)

Stuart fitted a new boiler and modified our water heating system which was originally electric. This involved considerable plumbing work. All the work was carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption to us. All rubbish was removed. The system was fully tested. We would highly recommend Stuart for any plumbing work.

Stuart fitted a new boiler last year promptly and efficiently and has been back to service it this year. Turns up as promised and offers a good service. Would recommend him and will be using him going forward for any plumbing jobs that crop up and for new radiators .

Stuart re-piped part of our central heating system and, a few weeks later, fitted a new combi boiler. We were very comfortable with his professional style of working both during the negotiations and execution of the jobs: always punctual, responded to messages and calls, kept to budget and schedule, diligent, tidy, helpful and courteous. There have been no issues but we are confident he would respond appropriately if the need arose.

Stuart of Henshaw Gas was recommended to me by a neighbour as a heating engineer who was very good, reliable and value for money. Stuart turned out to be all those things and more. I had a problem with the under floor heating in three large rooms, multiple Nests and two boilers. I couldn’t get the heating to work and it was winter. Stuart arrived to assess the problem and said he’d need a day to fix it (the issue was complex). However, during that initial consultation he was able to get the heating to work in the main room, which was unexpected and very appreciated! He returned some days later and sorted everything out perfectly. He carried out the work patiently and cheerfully, working very hard on a complex heating system. Since then I have used Stuart three more times, each time he provided an excellent service, he turned up on the date agreed and there was no deviation from the (very reasonable) estimate. He is always polite, professional and wastes no time getting things done. I know he is much in demand and must be booked well in advance – but I find his popularity very reassuring! I have not had any issues regarding any of the work he has done for me. On this basis, I have no hesitation in recommending Stuart and Henshaw Gas.

Stuart serviced our Worcester Bosch boiler last year and warned us that it would need to be replaced, sooner or later. This happened in January, Stuart gave us good advice on how to improve the system and tendered a quotation. The work was carried out yesterday completely to our satisfaction. Because the work was finished four hours earlier than anticipated he gave us a reduction on the quoted price. Cannot recommend him highly enough.
