My name is Stuart and I have over 15 years experience in the gas central heating industry. I Install all types of heating systems to suit all customer requirements. I pride myself on a punctual, neat and meticulous approach to my boiler installations, where systems have been thoroughly flushed and accurately sized to achieve the most efficient energy consumption.
Due to being a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer, I am able to offer customers up to a 10 year parts and labour guarantee on my installations, giving customers great peace of mind well into the future.
I also provide a thorough post installation backup service after installation, providing timely routine maintenance and appliance servicing when required.

We had a new boiler fitted by Stuart, and found him to be extremely helpful and informative and he also highlighted additional faults that he rectified. Our old boiler was condemned, and he was able to fit us in sooner than intended so we weren't without heat for any considerable time. We would highly recommend Stuart, and found his standard of work to be extremely high and professional.

I had a new gas boiler fitted. Stuart came out to give me a quote about 6 weeks prior to fitting. My call was returned promptly, he turned up when he said he would and my quote was sent the following day. On agreeing the price we arranged a start date and that was the date my work was started. The work was completed within the given time scale and Stuart was a tidy and clean worker. I was very pleased to have found a gas fitter who was professional and reliable and I would be more than happy to recommend him.

After a visit, I had a full quotation for pressure cleaning the system and fitting and commissioning a new boiler. Mr Henshaw spent one day cleaning out sludge from my existing pipework and the second day installing the boiler. Unusually for a plumber, he gives a time slot for doing the work and keeps to his promise.

He fitted the boiler 2 years ago , doing a superb job sorting out the terrible pipe work left after many years of alterations done by various BG fitters . He serviced it and has replaced a faulty catch under warranty on the boiler cover without me even realising there was a problem He is quite exceptional.

We contacted Henshaw’s to give a quote on a boiler replacement. He gave the cheapest quote and is local to us and had good reviews so we booked with him. Unfortunately due to workload we had a 2 month wait for the install. However he turned up exactly when he had suggested he would. The install was completed within two days including full system flush, thermostat install etc. Work was tidy and fully cleaned up afterwards. Some pipe work quoted for turned out not to be required, so a suitable reduction in price was given. I found Stuart easy to talk to and happy to openly discuss the various pros and cons of different heating features. I would happily recommend Stuart, but due to workload, you might have to wait before the job can be started.

Following a boiler service, our bath water was still frequently not hot enough. Stuart identified that the shower unit through which hot and cold water passed to the bath was not functioning properly. By replacing this, he resolved the problem. As usual, he was friendly, efficient, good value for money and, in these times of covid infection, he was also attentive to safety.

I first approached Stuart back in 2016 for a new boiler in my last house. He was polite, professional and fairly priced. I continued to ask him to service the new boiler annually and seek help during freezing emergency situations which he responded to quickly. I have since recommended him to friends and family who have all been pleased with his work. The latest appointment was for a service and general advice on an older boiler in my new house. I will continue to call on Stuart and can’t praise him enough!

Henshaw Gas removed a back boiler and obsolete pipework; and then installed a new boiler and 9 radiators, solving many riddles (associated with the old system) along the way! Stuart was so incredibly helpful through the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he advised clearly on what would be the best options for us. He was punctual, tidied up and completed the project ahead of schedule. We would undoubtedly use Stuart again for any Gas Services we need in the future and cannot recommend him too highly.

I used Henshaw Gas & Plumbing for work earlier this year and had no hesitation in contacting him to replace a radiator valve in the bathroom. Stuart was honest enough to admit that he was very busy, and wouldn't be able to come until January 6. However, in the freezing condition of early December, I contacted him to say that if a cancellation came up we would appreciate his services, as my wife and I are in our 70s and 80s respectively. On only the following day, he phoned to say that he would be with us within 20 minutes - and was. We are totally delighted with Stuart and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

Stuart arrived promptly at the arranged time and set to work efficiently to install the new Thermostat I needed, which we had discussed by phone, and then gave the boiler its annual service. He explained the settings on the new thermostat clearly and checked that all was working well before he left. He also kindly took off the cover of the extractor fan, which I can no longer climb up to do, so that I could clean it and then he put it on again. A very satisfactory visit.
