Gerry built custom bookshelves and a media unit for us that we're thrilled with, at a very reasonable and competitive price. He was able to start quickly on the project, turned it around in great time, and was happy to make any adjustments along the way as we needed or requested. A really friendly guy and very easy to work with, and he delivered exactly what we envisioned with top quality. Bonus points for how much he tidied up everything afterwards - not many workers leave with the place as clean as they arrived but Gerry did! Highly recommended!

Gerry was recommended to me by a neighbour, I had been to her house and was very impressed by his carpentry work. I contacted him about doing my bathroom. He was very friendly, polite, approachable and professional. He was very realistic about his availability and what was involved in a new bathroom. I called him several times for advice and questions and he always took my calls, was very helpful and patient with me. Once the installation date was agreed, Gerry was very clear on what happened on each day and who was involved in the project. I was very impressed with his timekeeping, quality of his work and his work ethos. All the workers he brought in ie tiler, electrician, plasterer etc arrived on time and completed their jobs on time and to a high standard. I observed that Gerry had a very personable with all other traders that he brought in and they all really respected him. He was also very flexible when I brought in my own floor fitter. He flexed and adjusted the quote accordingly. When the job was completed, I was over the moon and very happy with my new bathroom. The job was finished on time. I was so happy with my new bathroom, that I got Gerry to do the bathroom in my mum's maisonette as he had a window in his busy calendar and I grabbed it. Thank you to Gerry for making my dream come true and making me a beautiful new bathroom, and a extra special thank you from my mum (fellow Scot) for her beautiful bathroom too! I have booked Gerry for my Kitchen project too :-)

Gerry completed a set of built-in wardrobes in 2 of our bedrooms. The end results were great - very pleased with the design and carpentry work. Gerry is very friendly, trustworthy and professional. Would not hesitate to use him again or recommend to others.

We recently asked Gerry to replace our staircase with a new one. Gerry was very helpful throughout the entire process from quotations to suggestions and proceeded with care and consideration during the new build. We are very pleased with the outcome both from a practical and aesthetic point of view and would have no hesitation in hiring him for further work in the future. Fully recommended.

Gerry built two wardrobes for us as we change a teenager's bedroom into an adult guest room. He helped us decide what would work best. We are very pleased with the work. Gerry was a pleasure to have around. He was flexible and tidy. Would have no hesitation in recommending him.

It has been a great pleasure to work with Gerry. He fitted the wooden floor of my entire house, renovate two bathrooms for me, change the doors, etc. Apart from the work of his own part, he basically acted as the project manager for the entire house renovation. I am impressed by how he worked efficiently and his flexibility whenever an unexpected incident came along the way, which has greatly eased my pressure. Will definitely use him for my future works. We found Gerry on the Which traders website and he and his small team have been great every step of the way from the design (both sides of the staircase required storage fitting), sticking to his original quote even when small aspects needed adjusting along the way, building the units to fit our not-so-straight walls and the final decorating (including keeping our dog paint-free!). We were so pleased with Gerry’s work we have since used him for skirting jobs and a fitted floor-to-ceiling wardrobe too. We would highly recommend Gerry and his team - not only is the work of the highest quality but they are lovely people to have around.

Gerry and Daniel have just finished renovating our kitchen and have done an outstanding job. In addition to removing the old kitchen and fitting the new one, the work also involved knocking down a wall, bricking up a window and door and fixing damage to a ceiling caused by an old leak. Gerry managed the whole project, including all plumbing, electrics, plastering, window fitting and decorating. He is an excellent craftsman, a great communicator and was very helpful in terms of the kitchen design itself. He also sorted out unforeseen issues very promptly (e.g. getting a heating engineer to move some pipes). He and Daniel were always punctual, hardworking, courteous and friendly and left the place tidy up at the end of each day. The project was also finished on time and budget. I can heartily recommend Heron Carpentry.
