I found Herts glass on Which. From the first contact to estimate and completing the work Shane and his team were complete professionals. They took care at every move and cleared everything away perfectly. My old polycarbonate conservatory roof is gone and has been replaced with clear class and looks just wonderful. All gaps in the old door frames are sealed and I’m sure I’ll have no more leaks. Since I acted on the Which recommendation and didn’t know anyone who had used their work I am extra pleased with the result and their absolute professionalism and attention to detail.

We chose Herts Glass as an authorised Rehau window fitter and having seen a number of glowing reviews online. They provided new double glazing throughout our house and uPVC external doors, which we absolutely love. From start to finish Shane, Neil and the rest of the team were great. I felt reassured by their experience and communication. They gave advice when needed but were never pushy and always were polite, tidy and respectful. Fairly priced and excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

Shane, Neil and the whole team were simply wonderful. When preparing the quotes and specifications Shane was very flexible and patient with a few changes, always offering advice and updates. His recommendations on the window construction and amount of lead has created so much more light and bigger views - it's transformational. The installation was even better. A courteous and considerate team who took every care to ensure they caused as little disruption as possible, whilst leaving everything clean and back to normal when they left. Everything about Herts Glass is great. I would highly recommend them to anyone - in fact, one of my work colleagues is already planning to get in contact after hearing about our experience and seeing the windows.

I initially contacted this company in March 2021 regarding installation of porch patio door and a sliding patio door at rear of the house. Got a clear and accurate quotation and the work was carried out on the arranged, date very professionally and with the minimum of fuss by Shane and Neal. Invoice was clear and accurate and warranty details too. Aftercare was minimal but done obligingly. Subsequently used Shane and Neal again for another rear sliding patio door in June 2023. The job was measured and quoted within a couple of days and the work performed on the arranged date. Everything went smoothly and professionally and work done to their high standard. Received invoice a few days later followed by building regulations and warranty documentation, Pleasant and straightforward to deal with and work done to schedule to a high standard and very professionally. Herts glass were thorough and efficient when replacing all our windows in our maisonette. They were very friendly and I could easily trust them to do great work even when I wasn't in the house. They went through the whole process with me and made sure I was happy every step of the way. The windows turned out great and really took our preferences into consideration. From the first visit to give the estimate for replacing all 14 windows in my home to carrying out the job, Herts Glass was polite and professional. The work was completed to a very high standard, within schedule and to agreed price, with feedback on progress being given along the way. A few changes needed to be made which were done once the items were back in stock. The quality of the work was also exemplary. So happy with the friendly service & excellent work carried out by Shane, Neil & team. They were always on time, polite & have upgraded my old single glazed windows to lovely looking new double glazed which have helped enormously with heat & sound. They were very clean as well, took all the rubbish & each window has been sealed / finished to perfection. I am delighted & would recommend them to everyone!

Absolutely fantastic service, very professional throughout. Amazed with the knowledge and tools to fix upvc Window which had dropped from one side and patio sliding door which had issues with the rollers. Shane fixed it all. Very happy with the work, would definitely recommend Herts and will be using them again.

Shane and Neil are both quite exceptional and run an extremely good company. Shane immediately excelled at the quotation visit, by clearly explaining technical details, so showing his passion and knowledge for his business, but also with exemplary customer service. This job was a whole house replacement of windows and patio doors, and I was so pleased that their quote was fair and competitive. Neil was equally exceptional in his installation skills, attention to detail and neat working. Tidying up was equally excellent. I have very high expectations of tradesmen and demand attention to detail. These guys set very high standards for themselves and delivered without question.

An outstanding job was done by Shane and his team. New window fitted on the first floor of semi-detached (2 smaller separate windows converted into one big window), excellent quality, great timekeeping, very tidy, no mess left at all, finish top notch. Great communication throughout and quote accuracy. Exceeded our expectations - we had a very specific internal window sill in mind and it was delivered. Very happy with the Herts Glass, will be using it in future and highly recommend it to anyone looking.

Previously used Herts glass last year for a relative and was very happy with the work, having recently made some scratches on my balcony door I gave Shane a call to see if he could replace the glass however he was able to get the scratches out for me, I didn’t even know you could do that. Very impressed.

The job (new window, new bifolds and catflap instillation) was completed well and on time. The staff are friendly and supportive. Also, the price was very reasonable. Best of all, they left the house in a very reasonable state - not just finishing the job neatly but properly tidying up after themselves. In fact, the best post-job tidy up we’ve ever experienced. Couldn’t recommend more.

Like many other reviews, we are delighted with the work carried out by Herts Glass. Our conservatory required a new roof, windows and doors. During my first discussion with Shane he put forward some very practical ideas and gave us good advise. From start to finish the work was carried out by quality craftsmen, led by Neil, they clearly cared about the job they were doing and took pride in their work. Working around us, nothing was to much trouble, mess was cleared up every night and the work was completed on schedule. I would highly recommend Herts Glass and would not hesitate to use them again, although hopefully not on the conservatory! If you are looking for a reliable, honest and skilled company to carry out work, then look no further.

Our ageing double glazed windows required a much needed update, and I researched several local companies which resulted in visits and quotes. Herts Glass provided the best quote along with excellent service. They provided good communication, efficient work with a great attention to detail, and the work team were always clean, tidy and hardworking. From the very first contact, Shane and his team at Herts Glass have gone above and beyond at every stage of the replacement of our glazing throughout, the installation of a new front door, advice with purchase of roof glass and the sourcing/fitting of a bi-fold door.
