I highly recommended Peter & his team, from the initial site survey to final installation Peter was incredibly helpful. He is very knowledgeable and recommended the perfect system for our home. Two of our bedrooms are in the loft with a dormer extension, it was a tricky place to have the units fitted but they dealt it with ease and great professionalism. The team made sure they respected our property as much as we did and left it clean and tidy. Excellent communication and service, great value for your money.

I identified a safety issue with my elderly boiler just before Easter so was faced with trying to find a gas registered installer to replace it in short order. This was trickier than I thought due to the holiday period. Thanks to mild weather and showers at the gym, I coped. After several failed enquiries, I was put in touch with Peter at Herts Plumbing. He responded quickly and came to do a site visit that day. We discussed my requirements, he listened carefully and gave advice where needed. A quote for the works arrived promptly & was competitive. I’d done my homework, Peter patiently answered all my questions & a date for the work was agreed with a lead time of 7 days, & an expectation it would take 2 days. Peter and colleague arrived on time and quickly made a start. They worked tidily and methodically inside the house & out. A gas supply problem was noted and dealt with by summoning a third colleague who efficiently sorted it out (a reasonable added cost). Installation including one new radiator, thermostatic valves and system flush was completed in two days but a short visit to replace the struggling old pump (agreed added cost) meant the boiler was commissioned on the third morning. Peter went through all the paperwork and explained the boiler operation in detail. He registered the new boiler with the supplier the next day and all the required documentation plus invoice was emailed to me promptly. Very happy with my experience overall, just a bit of cosmetic diy to do.

I contacted Herts Plumbing for a quote and compared to two other local Stevenage plumbers. Peter not only recommended the most practical solution of all 3, he was well priced (maybe £100 more than the lowest) for a new combi boiler, 5 new rads, and removal of our old back boiler. Work was scheduled within 6 weeks of quote. Work was delivered on time by conscientious staff who were happy to work around my work from home while they worked. Loved having the team about and they were happy responding to my random questions about our back boiler. If I were pushed for anything negative whatsoever, we had to email twice as Peter was on holiday when we first made contact. Great from then onwards, no other complaints. They left the house in great shape and organised themselves when they would have to e.g. clear a room to get under the floorboards. No hassle for me whatsoever. 10/10

Thorough with the quote and recommendations. Communicated well, planned install of rads and boiler. Install went to plan, only issue was the wiring of the controller; which was sorted the next day by an electrician (organised by Herts plumbing). All fully tested, left all docs and gas certificate. Very good work (clean &tidy) and polite. So nice to deal with professional installers and our house has never been so warm!

Peter and his team were professionals from start to finish. The work completed replaced the entire plumping system, underfloor heating was installed upstairs and down, bathrooms and heat pump installation were also completed. Their level of workmanship was absolutely fantastic, from the basic pipework to the finishing touches there was not a thing I could fault. Peter was extremely helpful with any request I had and would jump in at short notice if we needed to get things done quickly. On top of all the above Peter and the team were really nice people. A top team and a pleasure to deal with.
