Luke came, on time, to replace an in-built combi oven. I had to use a sparky to do the job to validate the warranty, and I'm real glad I did. What seemed like a simple job, wasn't! The new oven came with a standard 3-pin plug (makes me wonder why I had to use a sparky in the first place), but the old one was wired directly into the mains. Given the outlet was hidden behind the kitchen cabinets, Luke had to come up with a different way to fit the oven - he used a "plug-in" socket, wiring one end to the old oven cable, and the other attached to the new oven cable. This worked a treat. Luke tested all the relevant circuits to ensure safety. Finally, he had to fit a supplied bracket to the cabinet, as the oven didn't have any holes to fix it to the cabinet. What a great job Luke did! Like I say, a simple job turned out to give us a few problems, and Luke solved them all. Really happy with Highland Electrical - I've selected them previously, and they did a great job then, too. I'll definitely call them again if I need to. Thoroughly recommended!
