Home Decor

I recently had my bathroom renovated and couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, the workmanship was outstanding and the attention to detail truly impressive. Every element was carefully considered, and nothing felt rushed or overlooked. What really stood out was the thoughtful advice I received on materials and finishes. It made a big difference in both the final look and the practicality of the space. The guidance helped me make informed decisions, and the end result feels high quality and beautifully finished. Coordination with other tradespeople, including the plumber and tiler, was seamless. Everything was well organised, and communication throughout the project was clear and professional. The whole process felt smooth, and the finished bathroom exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Home Decor services to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and detail-focused tradesman.

Home Decor has carried out very extensive work on our past and current main residence in Barnes SW13 and Wimbledon Village SW19 and, separately, on a house and flat owned by our Sons in Wandsworth SW12. The above work has included extensive decorations, painting, wall papering, plastering, tiling, and numerous repairs and renovation work both internally and externally. Works carried out has included the complete renovation of a three bedroom Victorian house owned by our Sons including extensive repairs and decorations, " gutting" and rebuilding a kitchen, refurbishing Victorian sash windows, repairing and building fitted in wardrobes. Home Decor has completed similar works on our Son's flat including "gutting" and replacing a bathroom and replacing all joists and floorboards in two bedrooms. Home Decor produces a very detailed and comprehensive quotation for all works and gives advance warning of the likely cost of any additional works required. Home Decor has always completed works within budgets and we believe has provided excellent value for all works carried out. In addition to the above, we have recommended Home Decor to a number of friends over the past 20 years who have all been completely satisfied and very impressed by all works carried out. Overall, the work carried out has been of the highest standard and we would have no hesitation recommending Home Decor.

John has completed a number of projects for me over the past twenty years. His work is always of an extremely high quality. The care taken with preparation is faultless and thorough - second to none. The work is done to a consistently high standard. He takes great care to keep everything neat and tidy and respects the character and quality of the property in which he is working. As a result, the work he does continues to look great for many years after completion, and for the vast majority of property maintenance jobs, I would not want to employ anybody else. He has completed the exterior decoration of my property twice in the past twenty years - but his expertise is not limited to painting and decorating. He has maintained a much loved set of french windows for me so that they remain in remarkable condition despite being over 120 years old. He has fitted a completely new ceiling in my kitchen. He has repaired the rendering on the back of my house. I have no hesitation in recommending him for a wide range of property maintenance projects.

I can highly recommend John he has carried out both large and small works for me over several years, such as internal and external painting, decorating and carpentry. He is a true professional and his work is of the highest standard, he has a broad set of skills and is able to come up with solutions to unexpected problems if they arise. He is respectful, polite and always completed on time and within budget, he is also mindful that he is working in your home and not on site!

John's work comprised wallpapering and decorating. The quality of the work was excellent, completed within the estimated period. John was respectful in his work and left the area clean and tidy each day and on completion. The price was fair and there were no surprise extra charges. An excellent service and I would happily recommend John.
