We've recently had some guttering replaced by Chris. He came at the agreed time, was knowledgeable about the product and completed the work to a high standard. Took away old guttering and left the area tidy. Pleasant and professional, would have no hesitation in recommending him.

As praised below, Chris fitted new fascia boards, soffits, guttering and downpipes for us in 2013. This winter, and especially thanks to Doris, we found that guttering below the slope of our main roof, and the front down pipe, were overflowing. Chris was round in a couple of days, as friendly and pleasant as ever, and confirmed that moss from the roof had washed off the roof into the gutter, where it ran into the down pipe compacting down its whole height as more moss was forced on top of the lower layers. He removed and cleaned out the solid mass of moss, recommending the installation of FloGuard, a leaf protection system which will keep leaves (and moss) out of the guttering and down pipe, ensuring a clear flow of water along the guttering, down the pipe, and away into the drainage system. That was fitted the next day, as professionally and effectively as all that Chris has done for us, and we longer expect to experience rain water running down the wall and kitchen window! Chris has just finished fitting new fascia boards, soffits, gutters and downpipes at my daughters house. From the beginning he did everything he said he would on time. His work has transformed the appearance of the house. His insistence on doing the job with great care and attention was admirable as was the way he wasted no time . A very competent, trustworthy and impressive craftsman as well as a really pleasant person to deal with. I could not recommend him too strongly. He removed all the old guttering etc. and left the site clean and tidy. What's more he did the job at a very competitive price.

In addition to the other excellent reviews, Chris has just completed fitting fascias, soffits and guttering to our large 1930's detached house, and has completely rejuvenated it's overall appearance. A first class job, backed by first class knowledge and skills, not to mention great ethics - he didn't want to leave before I was completely satisfied with his work! Replaced any existing timbers that were past there best with treated new timber. Everything fitted evenly and with all joints neatly finished. Eaves Protection System (EPS) fitted as standard. Even repointed end runs of roof tiles where necessary. Economical yet safe use of scaffolding kept costs down. Overall, highly recommended, and at a very reasonable price too!

I recommend Chris' approach and work from start to finish. A very detailed examination and measuring, plus presentation of examples of the materials he proposed to use, followed up with a detailed and very fair quote for supplying and fitting new fascia boards, soffits, guttering and downpipes. Started work on agreed date, on good time and never seemed to stop through the day. His attention to detail, quality of craftsmanship and knowledge of, and pride in his work were all obvious from "go", continuing through the four days to complete the work, and always pleasant and friendly. Cleared up as the work progressed and all replaced materials disappeared at the end of each day. We had sought & accepted a joint quote with our neighbours, but Chris was immediately willing to delay their work until the autumn as they had an unexpected family problem. He provides a two-year guarantee on his work, supported by a 15-year guarantee for the white profiles and 10-years for the rainwater profiles, the quality of those materials being as good as Chris' professionalism.

I have used this family business twice. I found Chris to be a friendly person. His work is to a very high standard. Cannot fault in any way with price or workmanship. He is always booked up for work at least 2 months in advance and never has to advertise. What more can you say. I would highly recommend him!
