After some very disappointing experiences with other roofing companies I was very pleased with the quality of the work, replacing a flat roof, that was completed. The roofers and office staff were always helpful, and I thought the quote was fair. As always the weather delayed the schedule but I would definitely use them again.

On the 27 September, a quotation request (with photos) for a chimney repair was sent by email. An appointment was made for someone to make a visual inspection on the afternoon 10 October. The company had to reschedule the appointment to take place two days later, but failed to alter the time to a morning visit as had been agreed. Since I had to leave the house for an afternoon commitment elsewhere, I had to ring the office to find out why the morning appointment appeared to have been broken. The appointment was kept in the early afternoon - giving me minutes to spare before I had to leave the house. After reminder emails on the 27 October and the 12 November for the promised written quotation, nothing was forthcoming. On the basis of this experience, I cannot see why this company should keep its Which? Trusted Trader accolade.

Steve and Lee replaced the guttering and fascia on a single storey flat roof extension in mid April 2018. They arrived on time , explained what they were going to do and how long it would take. They finished on time and left the site clean and tidy. My initial enquiry resulted in Mr Homer visiting my house within a few days to discuss the work required and recommend the materials to be used. A detailed quote was sent to me by email very soon after. The work was completed several days later. If I ever need the services of a roofing company again I will contact Homer Roofing . Highly recommended.

We have a loft conversion which has a flat roof. The roof had a crack in it and Homer Roofing were able to successfully repair it for us. They even put some fascia boards up there for us well. When they completed the job they took photos for us to show us what they've done which we really appreciated.

I selected this company to replace our kitchen extension roof with a new roof including a large domed skylight. They were one of three firms recommended by WHICH local but easily surpassed the others when providing an estimate for the job and continued to show professionalism at all stages. They were efficient, professional, helpful and excellent value for money. Their sub-contractor, J Collender Carpentry, proved equally good as did the electrician recommended by Collender, Barry Hewitt of PowerTec.

John Homer has done work for me on three occaisions now and for two of my neighbours. His work has always been to the highest standard. He takes the trouble to explain and show you the problems and takes pride in showing you the completed job, even if you have to climb ladders and scramble on scaffolding. Pricing seems fair and I don't think that I would trust anyone else on my roof.

Because of the recent inclement weather, Homer roofing contacted me to say that they had had to put off some of their big jobs. This meant one of their staff would be available that day to do the work which was expected to take two days, each either side of the weekend. The roofer who carried out the work was very pleasant, polite & what I saw of him very hard working. He left my property, together with a shared driveway with a neighbour very clean and tidy. My neighbour even commented on how nice he was. Work done was spot on. I have had no problems so far. Homer Roofing were very accommodating, initially making a survey of my property when I first purchased it last year. I had similar quotes for the work, but Homer seemed more to understand what I required.
