I have used Goods for both carpets and Kardean flooring . It was always done within estimated cost and agreed schedule. Fitters moved heavy furniture and replaced it when work completed. They were organized, efficient and cleaned up as they worked. Tina in office phoned regularly to confirm arrangements . I can only highly recommend this company for quality of work, organization and competitive prices.

The whole process from choosing our carpet to ordering and fitting was smooth and easy with great communication. The products are great value and the estimate was what we paid. The carpet fitter (Will) was extremely efficient with great attention to detail. The work was very high quality and our rooms look fantastic. We had two bedrooms, hallway and lounge done in two sessions and each time they arrived on time and took care of everything. Would definitely recommend their business.

An old family firm that has adapted it’s name following the passing of a family owner. From our experience Tina is working exceptionally hard to retain the reputation built up over the years. She helped us from the beginning, was not pushy and showed us a wide range of products at different prices. The measuring process was like everything, promptly done when promised. The quotation followed the same afternoon. Nothing has seemed to be too much trouble with the fitting being done by three friendly fitters all employed by the company. They turned up when promised and finished ahead of schedule. We are very happy with the result. My only worry would be to ask what happens when Tina is not there. Fitters are not salesmen though it is fair to say that we were immediately referred to Tina by a young fitter on our first visit. The price compared favourably and the service was exemplary.

I had two bedrooms and a staircase carpeted. Excellent customer service throughout and fitted to a very high standard with good quality underlay. The work was supposed to be done over two days but the fitters worked hard to get it done in one day, and the price charged was exactly as quoted. The useable carpet off cuts were left behind for me to use, and the shop even stitched the edges of my largest off-cut on a carpet whipping machine and made it into a good quality rug at no extra cost! All employees were very helpful, friendly and approachable, and although I didn’t have any issues I got the impression that any problems would have been dealt with quickly. I would absolutely recommend them, and would use them again without hesitation.

Turned up on time, nothing too much trouble, knew exactly what they were doing, James was the fitter for the Karndean flooring ( he also fitted the stair carpet ) and went over all the design details we had booked before he began which was very reassuring as I booked it months before. Double checked everything and they just got on with it. Their work was extremely tidy ( some work people seem to work in chaos ), everything lined up, we had striped carpet on the stairs and all the stripes were straight, we had a wonky area at the bottom of the stairs that just looks great now. Tina in the office knew her stuff and could answer any question thrown at her. The chap who came to do the quote was the same he just knew his trade. Over all extremely pleased. I'd recommend to anyone and everyone.

Had our stair carpet fitted this morning, the lads came on time and got straight to it. I only asked for a quote a week ago and they were quick and efficient and was able to fit me in a week later to have the carpet fitted. The price was really good! Brilliant quality carpet and amazing service! Definitely recommend Hoods.

I visited Hoods to discuss having Karndean flooring in my sun lounge, kitchen and bathroom. I chose them because they are an experienced family firm. Tina could not have been more helpful and spent a lot of time with me discussing the various choices open to me. Her experience shone through Nothing was too much trouble and she happily ordered a range of samples for me to look at and take home. The customer service I received was excellent. Hoods laid Karndean flooring throughout our lounge / dinning / kitchen open plan space, which they installed to budget and quicker than originally planned. Not only are we extremely happy with the end result, we really enjoyed the journey. From our first meet in their store to see options / prices, we were impressed by the knowledge, advice and desire to help instead of sell. The lads who did the job were great to work with and gave great advice on the job at hand + next the project. They kept everything clean and tidy throughout the project. A joy to work with, will definitely work with Hoods again on our next project later this year!

Two lads from Hoods came and fitted vinyl flooring in kitchen this morning, having previously prepped the floor on Monday of this week. It obviously wasn't the biggest or most expensive job, but their work ethic and attention to detail were second to none and it didn't matter that i wasn't spending a fortune - they did just as good a job as if i was paying thousands. Have never used this company before but will certainly do so in the future. They were perfectionists and nothing was too much trouble. The shop staff were also extremely helpful and very efficient.

Tina and the team at Hoods gave us an exceptional service from start to finish. They laid carpet throughout,in our new house just before we moved in. We moved from BHam to Telford so they had the keys to our house. When we went up to take a look after it had been fitted, we were absolutely delighted with the way it had been laid, vacuumed and left tidy. They even went the extra mile and made us some mats with the leftover carpet. We will definitely be using them again! Thank you
