House Doctors replaced 5 double-glazed window panes, including a large patio pane. I contacted them by email in the first instance and got a prompt reply asking to give measurements with very realistic parameters. This I did, and almost by return was quoted a price with which I was very happy to proceed. There were no hidden costs, no added extras and VAT was already included. Having agreed to proceed, a very pleasant member of staff came and took accurate measurements, at the time agreed. The glass was ready two weeks later and fitted within a few days exactly as arranged. I also asked if the sliding door adjustment could be repaired. He did this at the same time, very patiently taking great care to get it right. It now fits perfectly without any drafts, even in a gale. The team were very pleasant, polite and considerate. I recommend House Doctors without reservation or equivocation and will not hesitate to call on them again. They are indeed Trusted Traders - 5 stars!

I had a difficult issue with 2 windows leaking and water ingress damaging the surrounding walls. David took the time to discuss the issue on the phone and provide an estimate for the work before coming out to fix it. Another company had failed to repair the issue previously so it was great to have someone clearly knowledgeable take it on. David explained his plan clearly and carried out the repair with no issues. David has also replaced a faulty window catch and hinge, and realigned an ill fitting drafty door. I now have 2 much warmer rooms and leak free windows, all for a reasonable price.

I contacted David as I was getting cold drafts from my windows last winter, and wanted to see if this could be fixed or if I needed new windows. The windows in my flat are over 20 years old now, and at an initial visit, David explained that the hinges needed replacing, and that with some adjustments to the windows, he could resolve the problems. Also, many of the handles were loose, so we agreed to replace all of these. David came over as very knowledgeable and competent, and the fact he was also a Which? Trusted Trader gave me confidence in going ahead with the work. As there is no easy access to most of my windows from the outside, David had to hire some specialist equipment to do all the work from inside. It had to be done in good weather, and David was good at keeping in touch and agreeing suitable dates. I would highly recommend him.

The 50-year-old sliding glass door to the garden is sticking and difficult to open. David took on a rejuvenation task. Found the problems. No huffing, puffing, or sucking through his teeth, David explained what was required. Replacement wheels and adjustments. David arrived on time, spent time getting the old door working effortlessly. David and his team did a brilliant job replacing the conservatory polycarbonate roof. It is the second job they have done a job for us. Would highly recommend House Doctors. David has completed several jobs for me over the last few years and recently came to resolve an issue with low water pressure. This proved to be more complex than initially thought but he was so calm and professional throughout, a very reassuring person in this situation. David from House Doctor was able to come along today to update my heating system which needed adjusting after a new router had been installed recently. He had rung earlier to give me a quotation and to now advise that if that was acceptable he was available this afternoon if that was suitable for me as well. He was able to provide a speedy and easily understandable solution and restore the schedules. After completing the work David ran through the updates to make sure that I could understand them. It's lovely to have my heating and hot water working properly again.

Required 14 Polycarbonate roofing panels replaced in conservatory roof with similar specification. Initial contact by phone/email sending images of work required followed by a visit to view access, discuss and agree a cost which was competative. Communcation from David was excellent throughout the process either via Text, email or calls as was punctuality arriving when promised and keeping me informed of delays (Due to weather). David and Adam work well as a team and obviously take a pride in their work, taking the time to do a good job, with attention to detail and again discussing the work with me on site. Area of work was left clean and tidy when completed. Impressed with a high standard and would highly recommend.

The time between our order and installation was remarkably short. The removal of the old panel and the installation of the new panel was carried out satisfactorily. The access was tricky but the three men manouevred the heavy panel very carefully. We are happy to have the window reinstated. We used House Doctor (Weston super Mare) to replace our old conservatory roof. Dave and Adam were both punctual, hard working, caring and polite. They kept us informed as to what they were doing at each stage and when they came across a problem the options we had were explained. They carried out the work expertly and at a reasonable price. We are very pleased with the result and would certainly recommend them to anyone including family and friends.

David and his team did a great job replacing 30 window units which had become terribly fogged over the years. David visited before hand to check the job, arrived as arranged and had the whole thing completed in one day - including replacement of some of the hinges and locks. I had to organise replacements for three 30-year-old sliding-door locks at a property in Bristol - but I live 350 miles away. I was very lucky to find David to sort this out for me. He responded promptly to my email, reassured me that he could do the work, tracked down suitable replacements and fitted them very quickly. This was a fairly urgent matter and could have been very difficult to deal with from so far away. Despite having our boiler replaced by British Gas several years ago, our central heating system was getting progressively worse, and although British Gas service our system every year, they never really did much about it sorting out the problem. So we contacted House Doctors and David agreed to power flush our system. David was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of advice, and although our system was extremely clogged up (one of the worst David had seen) our central heating is now so much better. Some of our radiators hadn't been warm for years, and now they are all performing well! We would have no hesitation in recommending David and House Doctors!

Thorough and tidy job. Came in on quote (no hidden extras). Large door with three hinges, top one completely broken and middle one wobbly. Advised given size of door, best to replace existing hinges and add a fourth hinge. Additional hinge to top of door which takes majority of weight. Very good job, very happy with outcome. Very pleased I contacted David for several window repairs and glass replacements. He came out next day to the urgent one - a window I couldn't open or shut, and contacted me promptly to arrange the work on the others. The work was carried out in a professional and competent way - he was very knowledgeable and took care to explain everything. I had a PVC window that was stuck on the latch so would neither close or open. When I ‘phoned David he was very helpful, even giving me some advice on what I could do which might resolve the problem. I opted for him to call to fix things. Some days later David phoned me to make arrangements to call the next day. When he arrived he identified and fixed the problem without fuss.
