House of Fires

Following the installation of a fire in June, a return was promised to install a new pigtail to one of the gas cylinders. After several calls to enquire when this would be, the engineer called on 20 August to fit it. At no time was I told there would be a charge, and I was staggered to get a bill for £125 to supply the pigtail (£35) and installation £90 that took 5 minutes. For comparison, I have just contacted another local supplier who quoted me £19.95 for the pigtail and no charge for installation. Had I been told up front what the cost would have been, I would have gone elsewhere for the pigtail.

They installed a stove without a problem in Dec 23 but in Nov 25 rain came down inside the flue into the stove. I asked if they would install a different cowl and this was agreed. Finally I rang for the 5th time in June 26 asking what was happening only to be met with laughter as if it was a joke. I then gave up and went elsewhere.

I have been pleased with House Of Fires every step of the way. They helped choose a fire and surround which coordinate well. The figure they quoted was the figure they actually charged, and the installation date and time were as accurate. The team who fitted the fire were friendly, worked cleanly and did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier with this company

A local firm to me, Ahmad, Ali and the team guided us through this installation, the fireplace had to be altered for the install and they kindly worked around our floors being sanded for the fireplace alterations, a friendly, professional company, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, no pushy salesman, just honest friendly advice which we appreciated,

During our early conversations with Ahmed and Ali, we quickly appreciated that they “knew their stuff” and we felt in good hands. The job involved moving a log burner to another room and replacing it with a gas fire built into in a customised media wall. We are delighted with the results - which required an experienced, multiskilled team with problem solving skills and a clear desire to achieve an outstanding result. Thank you to the whole team for your positive, cooperative and cheerful nature, professionalism and real attention to detail. 5 star customer service!

From the moment we decided on the Loft Gas Fire we have received excellent service and patience with our questions. The installation was very professional and very tidy having covered our floors and furniture. The fire is beautiful giving our room a very cosy feel to it. Very happy dog also.

Ahmad and Ali from House of Fires delivered fantastic customer service from beginning to end. After visiting several Woodburning stove companies around Worcestershire with little success of finding a company who conduct the works we required (most just wanted to sell us a stove and not conduct buiding works). Ahmad and Ali invested the time into understanding of what we wanted as a customer. They visited our home 3 times to view, measure and make proposals before we had even placed the order! They installed an internal flu, double sided wood burner and build false chimney breasts which truly look outstanding. Their installation team were professional, quick, clean and delivered a great quality finish. All of this within a very reasonable price. I can not recommend House of Fires of Malvern enough

New multifuel stove fitted. It was a difficult job as the previous stove wasn't fitted safely, so they had to establish the very odd route to the chimney in a 200 year old property. The tall roof meant a cherry picker was needed to fit the flue. The team went the extra mile to get the job done to a high standard and it looks great.

House of Fires installed a new log effect gas fire, a new fireplace (enlarging the previous opening) and a new hearth in an existing fireplace in the Georgian house we have been renovating. They have provided good advice, listened to our requirements and concerns and completed the job to an excellent standard.

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with House of Fire Malvern. We are extremely impressed. Delivery on time, perfect installation and left it behind clean. Very professional. I know where to go next time.

Love my new fire place and mantle piece, looks even better in the flesh than in the magazine. Both guys where fab , started on time did a excellent job, even cleaned up after. It has transformed our lounge and made it feel more like home. Many thanks I couldn't be more pleased.
