We can't praise Humphrey and Crockett highly enough. We've used them for installation of a woodburning stove a few years ago and then this summer had an air source heat pump installed. This involved fitting a complete wet central heating system (pipework, radiators etc) to replace storage and electric panels heaters, along with a pressurised water tank and the heat pump itself with required electrics. After talking to a few companies Humphrey and Crockett stood out. They are experienced, knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel that we were in safe hands from the start. All aspects of the work were thorough; from the heat loss calculations, system specification and paperwork for the grant application through to the actual installation. And a great team of nice people who put customer service first. Furthermore there's been a great level of aftercare, from adjusting the system remotely to resolving any questions. We've held back from leaving a review until the onset of colder weather has reassured us that the system is working just as expected. We've gone from having a cold house that was expensive and difficult to heat to a pleasantly warm home with ample hot water. Humphrey and Crockett have helped bring our home into the 21st century on time and on budget. Thank you Paul, Carl, Adam, Charlie, Sam and Owen for all your hard work.

The heat pump installation and additional work on the heating system was completed brilliantly. Initial inspection, requirements capture, planning and design was performed very thoroughly, ensuring we were happy and well informed about the whole programme. The communication and payment process was very smooth and the installation was extremely well done. The team were very professional and considerate whilst working in our home. The electrician was excellent fitting all the electrical equipment brilliantly, everything being fitted exactly where needed. The plumbers were excellent, working very well, removing and disposing of all the previous equipment without fuss, then fitting the radiators, hot water tank, subsidiary equipment and heat pump really well. On commission day we had a good hand over, with discussion on how to operate and optimise the system, including details of any issues, possible changes of configuration and after service care. We were given certificates of standards and warranties for the system. We were contacted by one of the company directors ensuring continuity of service and support. Our home is already benefiting from being efficiently warmer, we also have the benefit of being able to control the system over the internet. This is probably the first time this house has been comfortably heated since it was built. We would like to thank Humphrey and Crockett for their hard work and commitment, definitely recommending them as excellent heating specialists.

If you want a job done on time, this is the company for you. On the days of the install, they arrived promptly, exactly when they said they were going to. I cannot fault the quality of the workmanship and how absolutely professional the Humphrey and Crockett installers are. They were efficient with a minimum of fuss, ensuring that the areas they were working in were kept clean and tidy as they worked. At the end of each day, they left the area spotless. I absolutely would recommend this company to you for any of your gas work or chimney and stove work. A truly reliable company.

We engaged Humphrey and Crocket to install an air source heat pump. A very thorough survey by Carl was undertaken to assess our heating needs - and to ensure Carl maintained his 100% success in obtaining a Voucher for £7,500 from HM Govt on our behalf. The work was undertaken by a skilled team who worked hard to install the necessary pipes, radiators and a hot water cylinder in the house - and the heat pump outside. It took just over a week to complete. We were kept informed of what work was involved each day - and great efforts were made to minimise disruption and to keep the place clean and tidy each day. Finally Tom and Paul took us through how the system operated with offers of help should we have any difficulties. Whilst with us H&C also sorted out some long-standing plumbing problems which we much appreciated.

The Humphrey and Crockett team installed a heat pump for my parents near Andover. Right from the beginning Paul inspired confidence and we were not disappointed. My parents qualified for a grant, but this required quite some paperwork which Carl managed thoroughly and efficiently. The electrician completed her work about a month ago and the final installation happened this week starting with the team arriving on Monday. They replaced all of the central heating and hot water system, so there was a lot to do and much disruption. However, I cannot fault the team, including the electrician, in their positive and proactive attitude, cleanliness, efficiency and we were very pleased with the quality of workmanship.

We contracted Humphrey & Crockett Ltd to install a Heart Pump at our home. This was a significant exercise as it included replacing all of the radiators and associated piping. The work took approximately a week from start to finish, excluding an additional day when the Electricians undertook preparatory cabling. From planning to execution, we were impressed with Paul, Carl, and the team. Carl managed the Govt grant for the Heat Pump and undertook a detailed visit to ensure the radiators were sized correctly. The installation team was efficient and worked at pace. Paul carried out a final handover visit to ensure we were happy with the work. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Kyle has kept us in the loop with everything. So well planned and the best price we had had. I’ve been recommended this company before and can see why! The 2 guys who came to install we couldn’t fault . Both super friendly and so clean and tidy! They cleaned up daily and when they left it was like new. Our new log burner is amazing! Called Humphrey and Crockett on Friday morning to report a central heating failure. Adam and Tom turned up on Friday evening to save us from a weekend without heating. Fixed the problem in spite of having to travel to get parts and were cheerful as well as competent. Being Valentine's Day, I hope their partners forgive them (and us). Excellent service as so often before. We are a longstanding customer.

With a need to complete the sale of our house by 31 Jan 25 we were in a panic when the consumer unit was deemed a fail on the electrical test 15 Jan 25. Charlie continued with the rest of the inspection and was really helpful and professional throughout going above and beyond and rectifying other electricians’ past mistakes. Aware of our dilemma, she then engaged with the Ops Manager and worked later on other jobs, rescheduling their diary to enable a new unit to be fitted on 17 Jan 25. The level of professionalism and customer service is unsurpassable going well beyond the level of service I have experienced with other tradesmen. Good communication throughout with a refreshing “Can Do” attitude I have found them to be head and shoulders above any other company I have dealt with. I would not hesitate in unreservedly recommending them to anyone.

Highly Recommended! After moving into a new property with an existing air pump installed, we faced huge problems with the old system. No company seemed able—or willing—to identify and fix the issue. I have been using H&C for a number of years and their service (and servicing of my boiler) has always been great. I’m even more impressed, however, when things go wrong and they do all they can to meet my emergency needs, as happened recently. Highly recommended!

Humphrey and Crockett installed our Air Source Heat Pump 3 years ago and have serviced it annually. We are very please with the product, installation and servicing. Humphrey and Crockett worked very closely with us to specify and install the system. We are very pleased with the installation and this meets our needs fully. In fact, following up on the installation and reviewing our use, Humphrey and Crockett have worked with us to optimise the use of the Air Source Heat Pump for heating and domestic water heating in conjunction with our Solar Panel System. The installation was professionally undertaken, which included the removal of our oil tank and oil-fired boiler and the installation and site left clean and tidy. We would highly recommend Humphrey and Crockett for their expertise and professional conduct.

From start to finish all those involved with my request for infrared panel heating have been polite, informative and not pushing for a sale! Charlie, electrician and installer, never did anything without explanation or making assumptions, and both, including Sam her assistant, were polite and kept cleaning up after themselves; if I had any questions or concerns they ensured I understood what was happening during the whole process and alleviated any concerns I had with my electrics. It was a pleasure to have them in my home and I did state that in fact I am ecstatic about the work done. It may seem strange to have had this done now, June, but I am confident that when the winter comes, I will be nice and cosy under my new heating system. In fact so pleased with all that has been done, now looking to have my bathroom updated!!

Kyle was excellent throughout the process, helping, on a quote visit and opening the show room to support us choosing a burner - we never felt we were being over sold. The entire process was friendly/professional and informative. The installers were great, advising us as they opened up the existing fireplace on what was possible, working cleanly and effectively. We are very pleased it how the installation turned out and look forward being able to use it!

Efficient and timely replacement of old heating system. Recently moved into the property and was very impressed in delivery of service from initial concerns re my existing heating to the final installation. The whole team were informative, helpful, tidy and delivered earlier than expected. I now have an extremely efficient heating and hot water system, controlled with the Homely Hub, which is far cheaper to run than my previous system and even far less than a previous new house with gas heating. I can highly recommend them and will continue to use Humphrey and Crockett for servicing.

Recently I was impressed with this Company’s performance in giving advice and subsequently carrying out the installation of a heat pump system at my daughter’s recently acquired nearby property. I have experienced problems for some years with the heat pump system at my own house despite having expended significant funds on other contractors, the latest following breakdown over the Christmas period. Their attention has been professional, tenacious and cost effective. The system is now operating better than ever and I am confident of its future performance.

We used Humphrey & Crockett for the installation of a new ASHP system as they are a local and highly regarded company. From the very first point of contact their representatives were pleasant, efficient friendly and professional. They were quick to provide a quote, change it when required and give full insight into the necessary work. The installation was smooth with no issues and was superbly carried out. Any tweaks required were quickly followed up on and Paul & Carl were, and still are, happy to provide advice and problem solving when asked. I needed to have my boiler replaced and was recommended to Humphrey & Crockett Ltd. I was very concerned about access and preventing damage being caused during the process. I need not have worried as the two guys that completed the install were first class. They took every precaution to prevent damage, protecting the door frame and floor and even supplied a ramp to ensure easier access. Their attention to detail was second to none. When they had finished the removal and install, you would not even have known that they had been there. I have never met two such hard working, conscientious, amiable people.
