I am so pleased I contacted Kyle at Humphrey and Crocket to advise on upgrading my heating. He is very knowledgeable and was very understanding about my budget. I subsequently ordered a log burner which was fitted recently. The team, Gavin, Owen and Adam were exemplary and professional in their work installing the log burner and flue. They went the extra mile, solving any problems they came across. I highly recommend Kyle and his team for any heating work and solutions you may have. If I need any more work in the future I will not hesitate to use this company again.

Highly recommend Humphrey & Crockett, the entire process was friendly/professional and informative. Kyle was excellent on his quote visit and again when we visited the show room to choose our burner, he was able to help us choose a burner that suited our preference and the style of our property. The installers were great, for everything done on the day quicker than we expected and were extremely informative and helpful showing us how to use our burner in the most efficient way (this was our first burner) they also professional covered off all of the safety and regulation side of things. I really very pleased and can’t wait for the colder months so we can get using it!

I would highly recommend Humphrey & Crockett Ltd if you are considering having a woodburner fitted. The whole service, from initial visit to give a quote, right through to fitting the beam was first class. The work was done speedily, the fitters were friendly and professional and the end result is even better than I could have hoped for.

My old woodburner was installed in 2010 by another company and no longer met safety standards regarding its position in the kitchen, and the flue emerging just below a velux window in the roof - always an issue even then. Kyle patiently discussed the various options including keeping the stove itself and moving it to a different, safe position, with proper heat proofing and replacing the damaged flue with a new twin wall one, or replacing it entirely and starting again. Having decided to reuse the perfectly working stove the work was scheduled, and just a new flue sourced to match the ivory colour. The original slate hearth was lifted and reused - quite a feat as slate can split easily and it had been very firmly stuck down in 2010. The team were here for two days, and the roofer, engaged by Kyle, came to repair the hole where the old flue was removed. He carefully matched the old roof tiles for an invisible finish. Everything Kyle said would be done, was done - neatly, efficiently and on time. Kyle communicated clearly throughout the whole process and ensured I was happy with the final outcome. If anyone is planing to get a woodburner installed, I would recommend Humphrey and Crockett 100%.

We consulted Humphrey and Crockett because our existing cassette wood burner was not giving enough heat. They recommended 3 wood burners and we discussed in detail the pros and cons of each. We settled on one and booked in to carve out an open fireplace, install the wood burner and install a fascia beam. We had two people on site for a period of 2 days who were professional, friendly, efficient and could not have been nicer. There was no dust, no mess, and they did a lovely job installing the wood burner, carving out the fireplace and installing brick plates and a granite base and the fascia beam. Would highly recommend them, professional, efficient, and delightful to deal with.

We have recently completed the installation of a new Air Source Heat Pump with the very efficient and extremely diligent help of Humphrey & Crockett. The installation was made complicated by the fact that we wanted to use the ASHP as the primary source of under floor and hot water heating whilst retaining the oil fired boiler as back up in the event of minus temperatures, given that we live in a frost pocket. This was achieved after a thorough survey of our house (to test insulation levels etc) and the need to install a "Link" system that has only recently been developed and put onto the market by Grant Boilers of Devizes. Paul Humphrey, Tom & Charlie could not have been more helpful in installing and setting up the system (extremely neat and tidy work) and, with the help of Grant engineers, we are up and very happily running. A very big thank you to Paul and his team who will now service the system on an annual basis.

From our initial enquiry through to after-sales support, Kyle was always prompt with the advice and information and very helpful. He helped us work to our budget and explained the options clearly. The installation team were punctual, polite and left the house spotless. We're so pleased with our wood burner and would highly recommend this company.

I was in the process of renewing my heating system and wanted to "go green". Carl and Paul took me through all the options with the benefits and drawbacks of green and non-green solutions being clearly explained. It's a very complex area but they took the time to go through everything with me and in the end I felt reassured and comfortable in the decision that I took. There was never any guarantee of an order because I was already well down the track with another supplier. But in spite of this, I always felt that Carl and Paul had my best interests in mind. There was never any "hard sell" whatsoever.

I was unsure we would be able to have a stove due to our home’s size and layout. Humphrey and Crockett went above and beyond to make sure we explored every option. They worked to my tight budget, kept me informed with quotes and options. At every stage of the work they were quick to contact and answer any questions. The installation team were amazing and so clean. Numerous follow up calls to check we are happy and all is well, I can’t recommend this company enough. I would be happy to refer family or friends to them after experiencing their full service. I was also impressed when talking to local people about getting a stove how many people could not speak highly enough about this company, now I understand why.

We went to Humphery & Crockett after being recommended to us by a friend. From start to finish we were so impressed by their professionalism and knowledge. The staff were wonderful and explained all about the Wood Burner, how it worked to get the best from it. They then moved the old Wood Burner to our cabin in the garden, this was all done in one day. The team who done the work were very professional and very clean and tidy. On completion we were given a pack with all the warrant-and how to get the best from the Wood Burner, and on going care and maintenance. We had A follow-up visit from Kyle today, very professional.

From the initial contact through the survey and the installation I am thoroughly pleased we chose Humphrey & Crockett for our new wood burner. I was impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of all concerned. The area was well prepared to allow the work and kept clean afterwards. Efficient and pleasant. The work was done according to the quote. On completion I was given guidelines with the warranty and on how to make the best use of the wood burner and ongoing care and maintenance to make it last a long time.

Humphrey & Crockett fitted a log burner for us last Spring and we were so delighted with both the log burner itself and the service H&C gave us that we had another one fitted last month. They were totally professional, polite, courteous and did a first class job in clearing up after themselves. I could not recommend them more highly and would not hesitate to use them again.

We always wanted a wood burner and when we approached a supplier several years ago they informed us that we needed to arrange a gas safe trade to de-install our incumbent gas fire before we could look at getting an installation. Fast forward three years and we decided to look again at wood burners due to the gas prices increasing, this time we went to Humphrey & Crockett, Kyle was extremely informative, very helpful and also said that they would complete all works, including the de-install, all we needed to do was choose a wood burner. Sam and Gavin (who completed our work) were professional, helpful and very respectful of our home; they completed the work in very good time with minimal inconvenience to us. Having contacted Humphrey & Crockett Ltd regarding the supply and install of a wood pellet burner for my home, the experience start to finish was very professional. From the initial conversation on the phone, throughout the survey, quoting, installation, right up to the phone call an hour or so after the completed install to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Not to mention the quality of the product, the neatness of the install and friendly nature of all the staff I dealt with. Would highly recommend.

I called Humphrey and Crockett to get my boiler serviced and they managed to fit me in at incredibly short notice. Within two days Adam arrived with his apprentice Owen. Adam as usual answered my questions and not only serviced the boiler but did a few other things whilst he was here. He is incredibly knowledgeable and did a first class job. We are very happy with the service we received. The whole team are very professional. Kyle helped us to decide which log burner would best suit our situation. We have a bungalow with no existing fireplace or chimney but he visited us and talked through our options. The stove and flue were fitted in a day and the chaps were polite and helpful and they left the place clean and tidy. Kyle visited the following day to check on the installation and talked us through lighting the log burner etc. All in all an excellent company. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

This company have a very good showroom where you can view a wide range of options available. Very knowledgeable staff, who advised what was achievable on our very tight date schedule. Installed on schedule, by two very helpful & knowledgeable fitters. They were polite, clean & tidy, and made a very good job at installing the new flue/ stove/ pot and making good the flaunching around the pot. Our builder was very happy with their installation as well. Communication was very good before, during & after installation.

Having a wood burner installed over two days all the installation work was carried out at a very high standard.

From the first phonecall/email, I was impressed with the company and their knowledge. Kyle handled our case and nothing was too much trouble for him. Our wood burner installation was not straight-forward but that didn’t seem to phase them at all, and all the stops were pulled out to ensure we got what we wanted. The installation itself was professional and efficient. The guys were happy to chat through and show us what they were doing. No mess was left and we were really impressed with how smoothly it went. We also had a visit from Kyle the next day to commission the stove and answer any questions. This was incredibly helpful. We will be using H&C for our yearly sweeps, and can’t thank them all enough for giving us a great experience, and the woodburner that we’ve always dreamed of. Kyle and team were excellent from start to finish. The quote wasn’t pushy and offered advice on what to have and expect. When visited the showroom, we decided to move away from traditional and go with a more contemporary style which offered more to the space. They not only supplied and fitted the stove and flue but also laid a hearth and tiled the surround excellently. They were polite and professional throughout and cleared up any mess. Kyle did 2 sites visit which was reassuring. I would happily recommend them to anyone.

Right from my initial communication with Kyle, I felt confident that I had chosen the right firm to buy from and install my new log burner. Within a few hours of me calling the office, a site visit was arranged and a survey with recommendations was carried out. I was advised to go along to their showroom to look at the burners they had in stock as size is quite difficult to judge in a brochure. Great advice, as it made a big difference to the choice of burner I went with. Importantly for me, there was never any sales pressure at all to buy or go bigger and better. On the day of fitting, I was informed by text of the arrival time of the fitters, Gavin and Kyle F and they arrived on time, carried out all necessary works expertly and left no trace that they had been there other than a new log burner in the hearth.
