Right from my initial communication with Kyle, I felt confident that I had chosen the right firm to buy from and install my new log burner. I can not fault the service and workmanship from Humphrey & Crockett Ltd Andover. All of the staff I have had contact with have been extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Within a few hours of me calling the office, a site visit was arranged and a survey with recommendations was carried out. I was advised to go along to their showroom to look at the burners they had in stock as size is quite difficult to judge in a brochure. Great advice, as it made a big difference to the choice of burner I went with. Importantly for me, there was never any sales pressure at all to buy or go bigger and better. On the day of fitting, I was informed by text of the arrival time of the fitters, Gavin and Kyle F and they arrived on time, carried out all necessary works expertly and left no trace that they had been there other than a new log burner in the hearth. Great company, highly recommend.

We had our Air Source heat pump installed last year, during a difficult period in the pandemic. The team installing the equipment were professional, courteous and helpful. They never left us without hot water or some level of heating despite have to stop work for a short period. A year on and the aftercare has been excellent, the first service completed by one of the original team. The house has been transformed, especially in the cold winter mornings, now waking up to a warm home rather than rushing to light a fire is a true blessing. I would highly recommend using Humphrey and Crockett.

Having a wood burner installed over two days all the installation work was carried out at a very high standard.

We went to Humphery & Crockett after being recommended to us by a friend. From start to finish we were so impressed by their professionalism and knowledge. The staff were wonderful and explained all about the Wood Burner, how it worked to get the best from it. They then moved the old Wood Burner to our cabin in the garden, this was all done in one day. The team who done the work were very professional and very clean and tidy. On completion we were given a pack with all the warrant-and how to get the best from the Wood Burner, and on going care and maintenance. We had A follow-up visit from Kyle today, very professional.

We recently had a new wood burner liner hearth and fire surround installed and we have been absolutely delighted by the pre-installation visit plus the installation and follow up advice. Truly excellent.

I was in the process of renewing my heating system and wanted to "go green". Carl and Paul took me through all the options with the benefits and drawbacks of green and non-green solutions being clearly explained. It's a very complex area but they took the time to go through everything with me and in the end I felt reassured and comfortable in the decision that I took. There was never any guarantee of an order because I was already well down the track with another supplier. But in spite of this, I always felt that Carl and Paul had my best interests in mind. There was never any "hard sell" whatsoever.

We contracted Humphrey & Crockett Ltd to install a Heart Pump at our home. This was a significant exercise as it included replacing all of the radiators and associated piping. The work took approximately a week from start to finish, excluding an additional day when the Electricians undertook preparatory cabling. From planning to execution, we were impressed with Paul, Carl, and the team. Carl managed the Govt grant for the Heat Pump and undertook a detailed visit to ensure the radiators were sized correctly. The installation team was efficient and worked at pace. Paul carried out a final handover visit to ensure we were happy with the work. We would recommend Humphrey & Crockett Ltd to folk looking to undertake work of this nature. A great company!

From the moment of first contact, Humphrey and Crockett were very helpful and informative. We found out after having the chimney swept that our existing liner and log burner had to be condemned. Humphrey and Crockett gave us advise and the work was carried out without any extra mess or hassle. Very happy with the whole service.

Bill Crockett came and gave as a quotation for fitting a stove and all associated work, which I accepted. We weren't sure that the stove we had selected was the best for our needs so we visited their showroom and double checked. We were told by Paul that if we considered the stove was not the most suitable they would happily take it away and bring a different one. His team came on the allotted day, they were friendly and very professional. All work was carried out in the time scheduled and our home was left spic and span. We are really pleased as the price was very competetive we and recommend them.

From the initial contact through the survey and the installation I am thoroughly pleased we chose Humphrey & Crockett for our new wood burner. I was impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of all concerned. The area was well prepared to allow the work and kept clean afterwards. Efficient and pleasant. The work was done according to the quote. On completion I was given guidelines with the warranty and on how to make the best use of the wood burner and ongoing care and maintenance to make it last a long time.

The installers were great, for everything done on the day quicker than we expected and were extremely informative and helpful showing us how to use our burner in the most efficient way (this was our first burner) they also professional covered off all of the safety and regulation side of things. I really very pleased and can’t wait for the colder months so we can get using it!

Having contacted Humphrey & Crockett Ltd regarding the supply and install of a wood pellet burner for my home, the experience start to finish was very professional. From the initial conversation on the phone, throughout the survey, quoting, installation, right up to the phone call an hour or so after the completed install to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. We always wanted a wood burner and when we approached a supplier several years ago they informed us that we needed to arrange a gas safe trade to de-install our incumbent gas fire before we could look at getting an installation. Fast forward three years and we decided to look again at wood burners due to the gas prices increasing, this time we went to Humphrey & Crockett, Kyle was extremely informative, very helpful and also said that they would complete all works, including the de-install, all we needed to do was choose a wood burner. Sam and Gavin (who completed our work) were professional, helpful and very respectful of our home; they completed the work in very good time with minimal inconvenience to us. The complete process with Humphrey & Crockett was faultless and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their excellent work from start to finish. We are very happy with all aspect of this project, and I absolutely would recommend these guys.

We are very happy with the service we received. The whole team are very professional. Kyle helped us to decide which log burner would best suit our situation. We have a bungalow with no existing fireplace or chimney but he visited us and talked through our options. The stove and flue were fitted in a day and the chaps were polite and helpful and they left the place clean and tidy. Kyle visited the following day to check on the installation and talked us through lighting the log burner etc. All in all an excellent company. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

I called Humphrey and Crockett to get my boiler serviced and they managed to fit me in at incredibly short notice. Within two days Adam arrived with his apprentice Owen. Adam as usual answered my questions and not only serviced the boiler but did a few other things whilst he was here. He is incredibly knowledgeable and did a first class job. I would highly recommend Adam and his team if you are looking for perfection and reliability. My old woodburner was installed in 2010 by another company and no longer met safety standards regarding its position in the kitchen, and the flue emerging just below a velux window in the roof - always an issue even then. Kyle patiently discussed the various options including keeping the stove itself and moving it to a different, safe position, with proper heat proofing and replacing the damaged flue with a new twin wall one, or replacing it entirely and starting again. Having decided to reuse the perfectly working stove the work was scheduled, and just a new flue sourced to match the ivory colour. The original slate hearth was lifted and reused - quite a feat as slate can split easily and it had been very firmly stuck down in 2010. The team were here for two days, and the roofer, engaged by Kyle, came to repair the hole where the old flue was removed. He carefully matched the old roof tiles for an invisible finish. Everything Kyle said would be done, was done - neatly, efficiently and on time. Kyle communicated clearly throughout the whole process and ensured I was happy with the final outcome. If anyone is planing to get a woodburner installed, I would recommend Humphrey and Crockett 100%.
