Had a water leak on the Friday before a bank holiday that tripped the electrics. Wouldn't go back on so left overnight hoping that things would dry out, no joy on the Saturday morning. Found the number for Hyde Electrical Services and called them. Didn't expect any availability for the Saturday BUT they arranged to come out early afternoon. Quickly found the issue, resolved it and left us with the reassurance that everything was safe. Great service, friendly, great value, trustworthy, basically all you could wish for in the situation we found ourselves in. Thanks.

This was a straightforward project to install a Tesla Wall Connector V3 in my garage. Not only did he squeeze the job in at short notice to coincide with the delivery of my car, his work was supremely tidy with no trace of his work except the new unit fully installed to code (with required PEN fault box installed). He consistently solves hard problems in the neatest way. On this occasion his final bill was actually lower than his estimate and approximately a quarter that which I have seen British Gas charge. I have used Hyde Electrical for around 20 years and they have never failed nor let me down.

Last year I had solar panels fitted and subsequently decided to increase the battery capacity. The original firm (v good but v busy) could not fit them in the time frame I requested but Hyde Electrical helped me to source them and then installed them with a minimum of fuss and at a reasonable cost. I recommend them without reservation.

Hyde Electrical advised me on the EV chargers I required as I have solar panels and needed to prioritise car charging. Having been introduced to HE by my usual (and trusted) electrician I took his advice and accepted their (reasonable) quote. The installer (Richard) came at the time specified, installed the two units with no fuss, and set up the software and the apps on my smartphone. I do not imagine I will have to install EV chargers again but if I did I would use Hyde Electrical and I will certainly recommend them to friends.

Richard of Hyde Electrical clearly knows what he's doing and, when the client might not, he takes the time out to explain what he's doing and why giving you options and advice without any pressure. Rightly so, your safety is clearly of paramount importance to this firm. With Electricians, possibly more than any other trade, it's important to have confidence in the person you are dealing with as any shortcomings can be literally life-threatening . Unfortunately, I have encountered more than my fair share of cowboy electricians during my lifetime but happily Hyde Electrical are the real deal. I just wish I'd found them earlier.

Richard replaced an old fuse box with a new consumer unit and upgraded the main earth cable. He is a very friendly efficient worker, he left everything in a clean and tidy manner on completion. He was on time and the budget was very reasonable and as agreed. I would definitely recommend his services and in fact, I would only use him for my electrical jobs.
