Hytek- WDC

I obtained Hytek’s name as a Which recommended provider of windows and doors. I am so glad that I went with this company as the service provided has been excellent. No high pressure sales and I have been kept up to date throughout the process. The technician who fitted the doors and windows was professional, friendly, efficient and exceedingly knowledgeable about the products. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Following the quotations and help from Michael, the door we chose was ordered. The price quoted was the price we paid, this was also the case with the windows. After only a few weeks, and as arranged and booked for installation. Darren arrived to fit the front door, he arrived punctually for this installation as he had done for the previous work done. He worked efficiently and was very thorough in the completion of the work. As with previous work completed very satisfactorily, he was always polite and respectful of our property. He cleaned up all debris and took the old door away and was very thorough as was the case with previous work completed. He answered all questions we had and also clearly showed and informed us what we needed to know very clearly. I must say we are very satisfied and pleased with all the work done would highly recommend HYTEC-WDC

Firstly, I must say that my wife & I are really impressed, very satisfied and pleased with the quality, attention to detail of all that was done from the start of the process to having the work done. I contacted the company in the first instance to get a quote, which resulted in Michael attending and spending time to ensure that the quotation which was done covered what we requested. Michaels approach to aiding our choices helped, he was very knowledgeable, polite, helpful and appropriately supportive, (not in anyway pushy). On deciding to proceed with the quote, John attended to have/take accurate dimensions of the windows etc, again he was polite, courteous and helpful. Toni in admin contacted us when the windows etc had arrived & were ready to be installed. She was also helpful and accommodating in arranging the dates necessary. When the works men Darren & Adam arrived, we were very pleased with how thorough they were in completing the install, it was over a couple of days. Both men were very polite, were very hard working and always cleaned away any of the debris from the work being done. Darren always responded to any questions I had and was keen for me to clarify anything with him re the new windows etc. I would certainly highly recommend HYTEC-WDC, there is no regret in making the decision we made to have our windows etc replaced by this company. All work was carried out to a very high standard. Right from our very first contact with Mr Wraith, the whole job was explained clearly and the price was competitive. We have just had six windows and a door replaced by Hytek-WDC. From our initial enquiry with the company right through to the final demonstration of the lock on the new door, the service we received was excellent. Michael who visited twice to discuss the options was knowledgeable, helpful and not at all pushy or overbearing like double glazing salesman of the past. John who visited to survey and check measurements was professional and efficient and what can we say about Darren, the fitter...he went above and beyond in bad weather and difficult circumstances and was an absolute gentleman as he moved around the house, leaving hardly a trace of the work he had completed. We are more than satisfied with the workmanship and are already noticing the benefits of Hytek's high-quality windows and door.

The double-glazed window in one of our patio doors self-shattered. Daren from Hytek-WDC gave us a quote and expected completion date. It was completed on time and to a high standard. Very happy with the result.

This firm was recommended by our neighbour. Michael who originally came out to quote for the job was very personable, knowledgeable and was not sales driven or pushy. John who came to measure up the job was helpful and knowledgeable, giving us some sensible ideas regarding our French doors. The fitters, Darren and Robert ,were cheerful, personable and professional. They communicated well , telling us the order in which they would fit the windows. They were also neat and tidy in their work and kept precisely to the pre-arranged timetable. The price was exactly as quoted and was competitive.(similar to another quote we had) Our new windows are lovely, letting in so much more light than our old windows. I feel confident that should we require any adjustments there will be no problems getting the Company to come back, as they have done for our neighbour.

We had French doors fitted having previously had HYTEK replace all our windows. Darren did an excellent job. He was cheerful, professional and efficient! We are very happy with the result - the product is first class.

From first contact with Michael for an estimate to the leaving of site after job completed by Darren and his team it was a very pleading experience in everyday. Nothing was too much trouble and all questions asked were answered knowledgeably. The quality of the windows and door is first class. Workmanship was brilliant and I wouldn't even know they had been on site after they left as no mess left anywhere. Extremely pleased with every aspect of the contract and would definitely recommend this company.

We’ve used HyTek in the past to replace our windows so we know their work is first class. This time it was a new conservatory. Michael their sales rep was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining all the options. Darren and Rob did a fantastic job and the work was complete in just 3 days (even the snow didn’t stop them working!). They were clean and tidy, even covered up our grass to protect it as they had to walk across it. Friendly, family company who we wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Darren and his colleague did a nice neat job of fitting the new UPVC back door at our rental property yesterday. Right from the initial contact with them, they've been very helpful and quick to respond to any queries or changes in specification we've asked about and to come round and measure up, plus the price was reasonable as well. Managed to get old door frame out without damaging the surrounding render, so very little making good needed externally, plus internally finished off with mastic and white UPVC cover strips. Nice neat job.

Fitted a new glass roof to my conservatory replacing old plastic roof. Worked really hard on both days left my conservatory looking like new wiped down all the windows and doors tidied up afterwards I can not fault their service and attitude would certainly recommend this company.

Very satisfactory completion of job. They arrived early, work done efficiently and tidily, cleaned frame and glass and immediate area afterwards. One piece of plastic cover missing when delivered, ordered straight away and then fitted as soon as received. All communications very good, have used this company before and happy to use again

first class, professional result from Darren and Stuart who worked so hard over three days and totally transformed the look of our house. From the outset I knew this was the company to go with, their attention to detail and friendly, personal service totally out classed the bigger companies who also provided quotes. 100% recommended.

We needed our conservatory roof replacing, looked at a solid roof but decided it was too expensive, so chose a glass roof instead. I would like to thank Michael the sales rep who was recommended to us by a friend, who went that extra mile to get some samples of the coloured glass for us to choose from. The team arrived nice and early on the day and introduced themselves to us, Darren and Stewart. The job was forecasted to last two to three days, but they got stuck into the job and by lunchtime, the old roof had been removed they then set about installing the new frame, as the job was going so well they decided to continue working late to get the glass panels installed. On day two they arrived to complete the finishing touches. While here they did a couple of minor alterations to the door and windows which needed adjustment for us. We are extremely pleased with our new roof and with the quality of the materials and the professional standard of the work carried out by Darren and Stewart. I will be calling them back in the near future to replace a couple of lower window panels and change all the handles for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any double glazing work done.

All the pitfalls of choosing a Double Glazing Company disappear with the help of Which. Prefering a small or family owned business to a large company my choice of Hytek-WDC right from the beginning did not disappoint. Michael their sales representative was efficient in measuring the 4 windows that were needed for now and it only took approx 6 weeks from that point to complete the necessary checks to installation. Darren who now owns the Company and has a very active part in installing their product was keen to get started so was very punctual, very pleasant and worked hard towards an excellent outcome on schedule. A meticulous worker not only on the installation but on his approach to covering everything in the room with sheets and cleaning up afterwards as if he had never been leaving a very professional and lovely job done. everything was great from the first home visit for estimate, placing the order, and rapid time to completion. The fitter was so experienced and competent I was completely surprised as to how quickly the job was completed. He was also very friendly and helpful. All in all a great company to do business with. We are very pleased with the 2 doors and windows that were provided and fitted by Hytek in October 2020. These are high-quality products and we were kept fully informed throughout the process from discussing our needs; quotes; ordering and fitting. Darren and Gary were very professional and polite whilst completing the fitting and tidying up. It is also worth noting that the after-sales customer service is second to none! I called Hytek as the stable door had started sticking and Darren and Gary came out to check and adjust it straight away. Thank you for a superb service! Darren and Gary from HY-TEK WDC installed a front door with side glass units, an internal door and replaced blown double glazed units. From start to finish their work was excellent. We were kept updated on installation dates, even through the current supply problems due to the pandemic. Their work ethic was second to none, being on time, fast, tidy and of high quality. We were very impressed by their clear explanation on how to operate the locking system, and ongoing maintenance. We would certainly use this company again.

We have used Hytek, a local family run business, for 20 odd years for all our double glazing window and door fitting and once again very pleased with the quality of product and speed and efficiency of fitting by very friendly fitters. Great service from quote through to fitting. We had 6 new windows and adjustments to existing french doors. Michael was very helpful at quotation stage and replied to my queries quickly. Fitters, Darren and Gary were very friendly and they were considerate, covering rooms with dust sheets and hoovering, so no cleaning up for us!
