Outside paint job of house. Ian organised everything very well and great at communicating on a regular basis. Paul's preparation and paintwork is superb. Timekeeping was excellent and we liked the very helpful and pleasant attitude. A pleasure to deal with a well organised, nice outfit that carried out a great job.

We decided to use Ian Day Decorators after a pre quote visit from Ian who took the time to thoroughly discuss our ideas and offer the professional advice we were looking for. Ian kept in touch on a daily basis while the work was ongoing over a period of 18 working days. The work progressed on schedule we were happy with the progress. Work consisted of lounge, dinning room, kitchen, hall stairs and landing. Repaint of walls, ceilings and all woodwork. Changes we made along the way were easily accommodated. Level of finish was very pleasing. Would definitely use again and recommend. Ian and Paul were always polite, friendly and eager to please fussy clients. Nothing was ever to much trouble.

I have just had Ian Day Decorating complete the decoration of three rooms (Living, DIning and Study) over a three week period. I am extremely pleased with the finished result and found Ian and his son Luke very professional, timely and with a great attitude. Luke was a very diligent worker and exceptionally tidy - he worked around me and a houseful of kids during half term! I am happy to recommend Ian and will be using him again for future decorating. Also good value for money.

Guessing the reviews are for quality of work rather than his attitude?
We asked Ian to come over and give us a quote. Ian came across as quite rude, abrupt, argumentative and seemed to get very impatient and frustrated with me as I wasn't completely sure on what colour / wall paper we wanted etc. At times Ian would even ask me if I was doing any of the work. This confused me as he's the decorator not me. I have brain damage, mental health problems and mild Autism so Ian's attitude made me feel quite anxious and uncomfortable in my own home. I know people have bad days but I wouldn't expect a which rated trader to behave like this on a first meet. It was very unnecessary and a bit upsetting.

Ian's son, Luke, painted our lounge, entrance hall, stairs and landing. His work was excellent, he was very tidy and he had a pleasant manner. I have no hesitation in recommending him to other people.

Paul recently painted our living room and made a beautiful job of pale slate walls and inky blue cupboards. His attention to detail is really impressive and they are very keen to get it right, which they did. Half way through I asked if it was possible to repaint a bathroom which had not been done very well. Luke came and repainted beautifully, quickly and efficiently. It has transformed it. Ian Day Decorators will now be my first choice every time.

Ian was very quick to respond to all communication, even dropping in on a Sunday morning with Ray who was completing the work, as they were starting while I was away. I am extremely happy with the work. A good quality finish and great people to work with. I even added my kitchen ceiling to the work, which they were able to get completed in the same time frame. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again. It was a pleasure to work with a company that were professional, friendly and trustworthy.

Very neat and tidy workers carried out the decoration of my lounge, stairs and Landing to a high standard. they protected my carpets and large items of furniture before starting work and I was able to leave them to get on with the job. They were all very pleasant to talk to and I have no hesitation recommending them.

Ian and all of the team were incredibly helpful, straight forward to work with and clean. We had a good laugh too. The work carried out was just amazing. Especially considering that at first they were correcting the work of a very poor plasterer, we are so pleased with the outcome. Glad we went with Ian. Ian Day and his team redecorated our spare room, stripping the wallpaper and then painting after it was re-plastered. Ian was professional throughout and had a good idea to put a border round a large built-in mirror when he came to quote. The work is neat and to a good standard. I'd definitely recommend to use them.

I cannot recommend Ian Day's services enough. We have been let down a few times in the past, so were wary using a new decorator, but Ian was so professional, and very reliable. He managed to do the job with short notice. Our painter, Anthony, was polite and very clean and tidy. We are so impressed with the work carried out and will definitely be using Ian Day's services again. It's so reassuring to have found an excellent decorating company, who take pride in their work. Ian and his team carried out the work of decorating our church hall and adjoining rooms. The work was done to a high standard, within the original estimate. All was done efficiently, and quickly. The workmen were courteous and we were kept in the picture as to how the work was progressing. The work was done within the timescale we specified and they kept the relevant areas tidy so access to the main church as still possible.

I quickly completed on a flat and needed someone to decorate every room so we could move in ASAP. Ian came round to view the place the same day I called him (a Saturday, no less) and work started on Monday. Paul, Adam and Luke made a great job of the place in just three days and were a pleasure to have around. Work was completed quickly to a high standard and we couldn't be happier with how the place looks now. Would recommend them to anyone.

Following a tenancy several walls in the house needed repainting to make right a very messy repair in the wrong color made by the previous tenant. These included bedroom walls, landing and stairs. Ian provided a very good quality service. The quality of the paint finish was excellent and the painter Paul worked in a very tidy manner. From estimate to finished job the work was turned around very quickly which matched very well my needs. The cost of the work was reasonable and compares well against other painting firms in the area that I have used previously.

Had 2 large rooms painted which were newly plastered and the skirting boards. The lads were very friendly and helpful and did a very good job. Time keeping was excellent. I would most definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.
