Absolutely delighted with the service which we have received from Marc, Ian and their apprentice. They removed a water tank from a cupboard, added pipes and fitted a new boiler for us with absolutely no hassle or mess. Communication was great from the minute we arranged for them to come out to our house. They are very knowledgable and everything was explained thoroughly to us about what had been done. They also ensured us that if we had any questions or issues just to give them a call and they would come out. The guys are very friendly and professional. Excellent customer service skills. I would use them again in future and I highly recommend them to everyone.

From my first contact by email right to today when my boiler was fitted I can only give praise to everyone for their help and guidance throughout the process of selecting the right boiler and arranging a suitable date for fitting. Ian, Marc and Megan have all been so friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable with my decisions. The work has been done quickly with no mess. I can rely on Marc getting in-touch when my boiler is due it’s annual service (boiler installed by Ian & Marc, 2018). Boiler still going strong. They've also carried out other heating/plumbing work for me, replacing taps, moving/replacing radiators, etc with no issues. I contacted Ian and Marc when our System Boiler was deemed unrepairable the day before we went on holiday. They talked me through our options and were ready to start work the day we came home from holiday. Minimal disturbance when carrying out the work (I was on nightshift and slept through the work). Very clean and tidy, old boiler and hot water tank removed with no trace of dust left behind. Excellent customer service including follow up to ensure we were satisfied with operation and control of our new Combi Boiler before our invoice was sent out. Highly recommend this company.

We recently replaced our twenty year old Worcester Bosch System boiler with a more modern and efficient version. Riddex Gas Services was recommended by Worcester Bosch (and work by their recommended engineers carries an extra guarantee length). It became clear that the Riddex and Worcester organisations have a good working relationship. The replacement work included flushing out the whole heating system before commissioning the new boiler. This was done with only one radiator at a time on line to ensure complete cleanliness. Their work was done competently and efficiently, over three days, in a courteous and friendly manner and we were kept informed of progress at all times. We are completely satisfied with their work (I am a retired engineer).

From the start we were impressed, we had contacted a number of companies to get a quote and left messages with them all Ian & Mark Riddex were the only ones who got back to us despite Ian being abroad on holiday at the time. Marc gave us a quote for the work and took time to explain the varying options. The replacement boiler was fitted on the arranged date and the work was completed within the projected time given, at all times they were professional and we always had confidence in the work being done. The Worcester Bosh boiler I got fitted three years ago is serviced regularly, meaning that my 10-year warranty is intact. Riddex gas services contact me annually and in good time, to ensure my boiler is kept in top condition.

Recently used Riddex Gas Services to replace our freestanding boiler with a Worcester Bosch combi boiler.From first speaking to both Ian and Marc knew that they were who we would employ.they visited us several times to answer any questions we had and explained everything involved in the conversion.They kept to the installation date and along with their apprentice carried out the work slightly quicker than anticipated.Hoovered,tidied up at end of each day.on completion the workings were explained . If required for any other work I would definetely trust them and would highly recommend them to anyone else.

We had 2 estimates for the job. The opposition failed to mention that the boiler they quoted for would require additional, larger diameter gas pipework, underfloor, at additional cost. Could have been a nightmare. Ian and Marc Riddex identified this problem and suggested an Ideal boiler (10 year warranty) which would run off the existing pipework. From our acceptance of their estimate it was only a couple of weeks before the new boiler was installed. They arrived on time, were very friendly and professional and had the new boiler up and running by mid afternoon. Part of their service was returning the following week to flush out the whole system of the cleaner put in at the time of installation. They replaced it with a system preservative. They send a reminder when our annual service is due. No hesitation in recommending this family run company. They clearly take great pride in looking after their customers.

Our boiler broke and Marc came out to look at it within a few days. We then decided to get a new boiler and the following week Marc, Ian and William where out fixing it. The customer service was great and the items we fitted well and just a great service overall. Would definitely use them and recommend them to anyone looking for heating/gas work. A great team!

Ian and Marc Riddex were contracted to strip out our old antiquated central heating system and instal a new one. They then went on to completely refurbish our downstairs toilet. Riddex services replaced a gas boiler and thermostat after a month of trying to keep it limping along. The work was scheduled as soon as I decided to replace the boiler. Great communication, very tidy and always reliable.

Gas service and radiator replacement. Marc was very responsive to my messages and arranged a replacement radiator to match my existing design and size. He arrived on time and replaced my radiator with no fuss, removing the old radiator and discarding of it for me. During the same visit he also serviced my boiler and other gas appliances. Marc was friendly and straightforward throughout, answering all my questions. At the end of his visit he cleared away all rubbish, materials and tools. I received an invoice promptly after the service and upon payment immediately received my gas safety certificate. Overall a very smooth service, and would definitely use again.

Marc carried out a boiler service for me at very short notice as part of my house sale. He offered a fair price and worked around my schedule which was much appreciated. Very pleased with the service and intend to use Marc for my annual boiler maintenance from now on.

I had previously used this company to install a new boiler and was very pleased with the service provided, so had no hesitation in using them again. They installed two new radiator temperature control valves which involved a pipework modification, and resealed a slightly leaking radiator. Ian and Mark replaced old boiler with new Bosch boiler, radiator, Bosch Easy Control and thermostats and power flushing complete heating system. All of this was completed efficiently and with care leaving the premises clean and tidy including removing old boiler and rubbish. Although not the cheapest Quote I received they kept to there estimate and were very helpful as the control facility I required was unusual nothing was too much bother for them. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will use them for servicing etc in the future

Whilst I was working abroad our boiler failed, leaving the family with no hot water, after a few online searches we came across Ian’s website. After a long distance phone call Ian very quickly came out and checked the problem, he advised that the best course of a action was a new boiler. Due to family work commitments access could have been an issue however we were so reassured by our conversations that we arrange to leave keys, giving him access to complete the work. Ian and Mark arranged to come out within a few days and carried out the boiler replacement. Ian arranged a follow up visit during an evening to show our family how to operate the new boiler and thermostat. Ian and Mark replaced my old combi boiler, repositioned a radiator, replaced the bathroom radiator with a chrome towel radiator and carried out a thorough service of the central heating system. Very pleased with the work carried out and reassured installation covered by boiler manufacturers warranty. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Ian in the future or recommend him to others.

Ian and Marc did a replacement of our old traditional tank fed boiler with a Worcester Bosch Combi. He was courteous throughout the whole process of sorting the quote and then completing the job. We now have instant hot water on demand and a dramatically improved heating system after the flushing out work that was done as part of the install. Although maybe not the cheapest out there, Ian's attention to detail and pride in the work made this worth paying.
