Ideal Glass Limited

Just had a 2 windows replaced and couldn't be happier with the results. From Jacob and Barney measuring to Haidee who booked us in and the guys that came to fit (George & Ant) everyone was polite, respectful and did a fantastic job. Really impressed, and know where to go if I need any other windows replaced...thanks to the whole team for making this so easy and stress free.

Received good service replacing the double glazed units in my home that had lost their seal and had condensation in them. Pleased with the service and the price.

Great service from this friendly local business. Big shout out to Barney and Jacob who went above and beyond to help us out. Our Harpenden home benefited from new windows and doors throughout. The work was done on time and to a good standard. Thanks!

Ideal Glass provided great advice and service during our home extension project in Harpenden. They supplied and installed multiple aluminium windows, a front door, bifold doors and a stunning rooflight/beacon. Complete pleasure to deal with from the start, if only all trades was as easy!

Great service from ALL the team at Ideal Glass. Fair price, good service and my new windows and aluminium bifold doors look fantastic.

Great company, great people. Ideal Glass tirelessly worked with us patiently through our extension build. They offered valuable advice, and support, saving us thousands of pound probably. Building project never go 100% smooth, but with Ideal Glass in our corner the whole project got completed, accurately with only a few delays that was out of their hands.

Running a small business myself, I know how hard it it to maintain a high level of service. Ideal Glass was always receptive to my questions and responded in good time. The project was to replace our aging white upvc windows with modern flush sash alternatives in my partners choice of colour - black. I was hesitant about the colour choice but I have to say the house looks fantastic and its curb side appeal has increased dramatically which can only improve its saleability when we retire and move to Cornwall in a few years! The nice salesman, friendly admin staff and hard working fitting team all pulled together and got over several unforeseen issues to deliver a well executed installation. When the door needed adjusting a few months later there was no issue and someone was round promptly to put right. I found Ideal Glass from referral from my neighbour on the same street who again had received recommendations locally in Marshalswick. It appears good old fashioned customer service and a honest price is getting this small local business a name in these parts of St Albans. Keep up the good work, its a pleasure to write this review for you.

Barney and Jacob provided a great service, and the finished windows and bifold doors excelled in every way, surpassing our expectations. We have passed on your details to our neighbours.

Ideal glass surpassed my expectations with their service, delivering high quality upvc windows and a composite door to match the style. Very friendly team, and very keen on customer satisfaction.

Very thorough and attentive service installing double glazing and aluminium bifold doors. The team was patient and professional at all times while we battled through out home extension project. Thanks Ideal Glass!

I recently had Ideal Glass install new double-glazed aluminium windows and French doors at my home in St Albans, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service from start to finish. From the first phone call, the team was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They offered a free quote without any pressure, and their pricing was clear and competitive. Barney and Jacob took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and gave great advice on styles and finishes that would suit the property. The installation itself was fast, tidy, and to an exceptionally high standard. The attention to detail was outstanding — the windows and doors fit perfectly, and everything was sealed and finished beautifully. Not only do the new windows look fantastic, but the whole house feels warmer and quieter. The French doors have completely transformed our living space and open out onto the garden perfectly. I’ve already recommended Ideal Glass to friends and neighbours in St Albans. It’s rare to find tradespeople who are this reliable, honest, and committed to quality. A five-star service all the way — thank you, Ideal Glass!

Comprehensive service from start to finish. Was recommended Ideal Glass by my neighbour and I was pleased with outcome and the care they took after the job was completed
