Illustrious Plumbing & Heating were excellent; a very well organised company; Craig assessed the job and it was clear he knew his trade. Whist offering to repair the existing old boiler, I preferred a new combi boiler, so the water tanks could be removed from loft/airing cupboard. He recommended an eco-friendly model which is really neat with a digital thermostat. I couldn't be more pleased with it! Everyone I met from the company was polite and communicated well. On the day, the boiler was delivered before they started work. Tom arrived and covered the flooring with plastic covering and thick mats in the utility. Tom and Craig carried out all work to a very high standard and work was completed on time. The guys treated my home with respect and were very easy to work with. When the work was finished they cleaned up really well and all rubbish was removed. Illustrious are a very well managed company, everything ran like clock work. The costs were reasonable compared to other quotations and because of the high standard of work it was good value for money. I would highly recommend them.

Illustrious Plumbing were fantastic. Fixed two radiators and kitchen tap. Arrived on time and carried out the work to a very high standard, and at a good price. We will definitely use them in the future.

We needed our boiler serviced and also had a couple of issues with the plumbing in our bathroom. So we asked Illustrious Plumbing and Heating to take a look. Great communication about arrival time from the engineer and couldn’t fault the professional way the service was carried out. The issues in the bathroom with a slow draining bath and leak from the sink were resolved very quickly, really neat and tidy job and we now have a fully working bathroom again. Would highly recommend.

Illustrious Plumbing & Heating carried out my annual boiler service last week. Engineer arrived on time and carried out the service smoothly and efficiently. I have been using them for several years for this task and I have no qualms about recommending their services. They installed my boiler back in 2020 and I have had no issues with the system since installation.

What I initially thought would be quite a complicated job was completed smoothly and to a very high standard in just two days. The communication and aftercare have also been excellent. Replacing my old traditional boiler with a combi boiler has not only improved my hot water system, but also freed up a really useful amount of space in my home. Craig did a first rate job and reset the thermostat which had been disconnected when the WiFi router had been changed. He has been every year for a free annual check of the gas boiler which he installed some time ago. I can recommend him with a solution reservations.

Tom from Illustrious came to do three jobs. He was on time (early, in fact), very polite, very conscientious and efficient, explaining what he was doing as he went along. This was the second time I've used Illustrious and, needless to say, I am very pleased with the quality of work done at a very fair price. I can highly recommend them.

Our boiler was malfunctioning and producing undesired heating, and after phoning around we tried Illustrious. Craig came round and assessed the problem and provided the parts needed. It was all very quick and efficient. While he was working we remembered he had another problem with a loose tap and he fixed that too.

We recently contacted Illustrious Plumbing and Heating with regard to the replacement of a Worcester Bosch Boiler. Craig was extremely helpful with his advice and said he would provide us with a quote as soon as possible. He was very quick in getting back to us with a quote, verbally and also sent a very detailed quotation, explaining exactly what work would be undertaken. We had other quotes, but Craig’s quote was very competitive and the quote was submitted in a very professional and efficient manner. We accepted the quote and Craig got back to us with a date and time for the boiler to be fitted. We were contacted 30 minutes before Tom, the engineer was due to arrive, to inform us that he was on his way. Tom arrived and carried out the work in a professional, friendly and efficient manner. All checks on radiators, the necessary draining of the radiators etc. Very pleased with the work that was carried out. The old boiler was collected and disposed of by the team the next day. It was literally like a very efficient machine, where everything ran smoothly. Craig was in constant contact with us by email/text before the work took place. We would not hesitate to use Illustrious Plumbing & Heating again. Highly recommended.

Superb service as usual as we are an existing customer having got illustrious to supply and install our combi boiler last year. Dropped an enquiry into Craig on Sunday night and had appointment booked for the Tuesday and confirmation back by email within the hour. All sorted on the Tuesday quickly and efficiently - great service.

They have installed a boiler for me and have to say very professional job. Also impressed how they prepped floors and carpets to make sure everything kept clean. Once installation finished they cleared and cleaned everything would highly recommend.

As a first time user of Illustrious Plumbing and Heating it was an excellent choice. Originally came for a service then found out the boiler was unusable. The new one was put in shortly after. The quote was exactly what was stated, no hidden extras afterwards. The technician came and literally work most of the day fitting and making sure it was all working as it should. Easy process to book in an engineer, they were available same day if I needed it. They arrived on time and quickly identified and resolved the issues (faulty remote thermostat controller). Will definitely use them again.

As with a car service safety and trust is a must so i always use my favourite garage and the same applies to my gas boiler so make Illustrious Plumbing & Heating your favourite Ps ( Craig is always on hand to help )
