I've just had Shary refurbish my kitchen, which involved stripping out the old units, fitting a set of Wren kitchen units and worktops along with electrical work, plumbing, wall repair, tiling, painting and laying flooring. Shary visited a few days after initial contact and we went through was needed and he made suggestions where I wasn't sure. This was completed on time in 10 days. The team were on time, kept things very tidy (especially considering the small amount of spare room in my flat) and dealt with any issues that came up without extra charges. Any specific extra work that was outside of the initial remit I was told in advance what the charge would be. Shary always consulted me about my preferences and kept me in the loop as to what he was doing and why. Finish is immaculate, very pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended and would use again.

Having read the favorable reviews, we employed Imperial Building Services Ltd to fully tile our downstairs cloakroom. Would never use again. Floor tiling out of alignment with wall tiling, when asked to correct it, Imperial Building Services Ltd wanted to charge extra for their mistake! Further, the wall mounted w.c. cannot be installed as the tiling is not square to the wall. What should have been a pleasant job, has had a hugely disappointing outcome.

Shray and his team have just completed two bathrooms and a cloakroom toilet for us. Always on time and very reliable, always tidied the workspace before leaving as well, very clean. Great communication skills and always kept us in the loop of what was happening at all stages of the work. Always happy to give his time and advice on any issues even helping us with water pressure and putting in a mega flow system. Installation was on time and of a very high standard and to the agreed budget. The final product is amazing and we are very pleased with our new bathrooms. Shary and his colleague did some work on my kitchen. They removed some old kitchen units and tiles, replaced a couple of doors, fixed the walls and ceiling, repainted them and replaced the flooring. Shary also encountered an unexpected water leak inside the ceiling, under the bathtub, which he fixed with no problem. He also offered some valuable advice about what type of flooring I should install and why. Always punctual, good at comunicating and keeping the mess to minimum. Overall, I am very happy with the service and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

In addition to providing a very reasonable quotation for the installation of a new toilet and basin, they gave me useful practical advice on sourcing materials. With the fitting of the toilet in particular, great care was taken to ensure that the connecting pipework matched the toilet outflow, and I am very satisfied with the results. Shary fitted an over-hob kitchen extractor fan for us. It was a tricky job that other electricians had either refused or quoted high prices for. There was not an exact fit as our existing extractor was old and no longer a standard size. He measured up, ordered a new slightly smaller hob extractor fan and fitted it. He also completed cabinet work to fit it (which many electricians would not do). He was quick, completing the job within a couple of weeks of first contact. The work was of a high standard. The price was also fair and reasonable and Shary stuck to the quoted price. We are very pleased with the service and would recommend him.

I'm very happy with the tiling of our bathroom Shary carried out. My wife and I were consulted throughout the process while being given advice by the years of experience Shary has. Shary and his men did a good job on painting the internal woodwork of our house. In addition he levelled and damp proofed a difficult uneven kitchen floor then laid the vinyl flooring. Shary impressed with intelligent well thought out solutions to issues which were not straightforward in our old house. The work was executed to schedule and budget -in fact Shary finished 1 day early in the two weeks planned. Two weeks later he very willingly returned to remedy a small area of painting. He also noticed that the washing machine hoses installed by somebody else were slowly leaking and fixed this.

Having read the reviews in Which, I rang Imperial Building Services for an emergency call out as water was pouring through the upper and lower ceiling and floor on arrival at the property. Shary gave me some initial advice which was reassuring, arranged to attend promptly and quickly managed to identify and repair the problem effectively (a burst pipe in the loft). He was calm and helpful on what needed to happen next, emailed photos and a short video of the leak he had taken and was professional throughout. In sum, Shary was reliable, friendly and helpful and communicated consistently throughout the process. I would highly recommend his company.

We hired Shary to finish off a bunch of jobs that another building company had taken on and failed to complete. The works included installing most of the kitchen, various carpentry works, fixing an old fireplace, fitting skirting boards and architraves, cutting to size a worktop (that turned out to be a very difficult material and had been refused by three other contractors). Shary was polite, punctual and pristine. He kept everything very clean and tidy, he even brought his own kettle. The final result is excellent. Where other contractors found problems Shary found solutions. We cannot fault anything he has done.

Following water leakage our woodwork and walls were damaged as well as the tiled floor in our kitchen and family room. Shary was able to co-ordinate with our tiler and effected the re-decoration with the minimum of fuss and delay. Shary was keen to use the specialist paint that we requested. Imperial Building Services helped me to design my new (replacement) bathroom. Shary removed the old bathroom fittings and tiles. He installed new shower, toilet, basin and towel rail and tiled the whole room. He also changed the very old hot water system to a new combi - boiler. Work was completed ahead of schedule and came in at the price we had agreed before commencement of the work. Shary's work was very professional and of a high quality. I am so pleased with the result. Needed minor works doing - contacted Shary amongst other builders on 21/01/2020. First builder gave me the runaround and had to tell him not to bother coming. Another Which? recommended Builder who had good reviews came did come but never sent quote as promised (came across as not interested in minor works and was not honest enough to say so). Shary on the other hand came on 22/01 on time as promised, had a look at the proposed works advised what he could do and promised to send quote the next day. He also fixed my downstairs toilet cistern whilst he was there. As promised a reasonable quote was received the following day. We agreed a start date and Shary and his assistant arrived on time on the day. They replaced - loose bricks at front raised bed, leaking part to outside tap, cracking connector to soil pipe, cracked kitchen waste pipe in garden. All work was done efficiently and quickly and everything was cleared and area left tidy. A minor issue was raised post work which was sorted with good grace. I found Shary to be very pleasant and punctual and honest of what he could do and when bearing in mind his existing commitments (a refreshing change having been the brunt of builders in the past taking on too much work and not being able to keep up with their schedules and workload and having to be chased daily) I have no hesitation in recommending Shary and will use him again.

I had a emergency plumbing issue with my hot water tap and pipes in the bathroom. I contacted Shary and he came and assessed the problem, agreed the price and he went and bought the parts the same day and repaired the pipes and replaced the bath taps. My elderly and infirm 94-year-old mother in law had a problem when the wastewater pump from her shower stopped working owing to the supply cable failing. She needs to shower every day owing to a skin problem. I rang Shary at 8:30 am in the morning and explained the situation. He promised to meet me at the property at 10 am which he did promptly. He was extremely polite and courteous when he arrived and quickly assessed the best route through the bathroom for the new cable. His quote was reasonable and as he said he would do the job the same day I accepted it. He left and came back within an hour with the materials and started. In that short space of time, Shary instilled complete confidence in me that I had found a good genuine, competent and experienced tradesmen and businessman. Looking at the services offered by his company he probably has many arrows in his quiver. Such was my confidence I left him in the property to get on with the job and asked him to just close the door behind him when he finished (yale lock). He called to say he finished the job in about a couple of hours then sent me an invoice via email and text me his bank account details. I was unable to return that day but my MILs daughter did and confirmed the job was done very well, the place was left clean and tidy. On that, I paid him via a BACS transfer for which he acknowledged with a thank you. To sum up, my experience with Shary was 1st class, it does not get any better than this! Thank you, Shary.

I was in a bit of crisis as my mother's bathroom had been leaking over time due to the shoddy work done by Hillingdon Council on her bathroom. The water had seeped into her bedroom, adjoining bathroom and hallway! My mother has Dementia and is disabled so a working bathroom is essential. It is really difficult to find reliable, trustworthy builders who understand the dilemma of the elderly and housebound. I was very fortunate to find Shary who after hearing my desperate pleas came over the next day and not only identified the leak but also removed all the flooring for me. The work included tiling of all walls and flooring, fitting pump to improve poor water pressure, replacing rotten floorboards, fitting new toilet pan and basin; including all plumbing & electrics. Imperial Building Services were selected based on the strong reviews, and were not disappointed. We had a small bedroom, landing, stairwell and hallway stripped of old wallpaper, re plastered and painted. Attic floorboards laid and electrical items fitted. All the work was completed on time to a very high standard and met our brief entirely. We were further impressed with the high degree of pride the team took in their work, in particular the effort Shary went to in finding just the right product to fit a non standard loft height. The team were always on time and acted in a very professional and polite manner and left the premises clean and tidy at the end of each day. Shary was recommended by Wickes when we purchased and planned our bathroom. He always came as planned and on time. Dust sheets were put down each day ; clearing up was done ,and debris removed..Consideration was given to my 95yr. old , disabled husband and although the nature of the work was disruptive to our household our privacy was never invaded. Firstly Shary checked the various equipment delivered and sorted out problems with the order.He advised on the type of tiles and collected them for us. As I wanted an unusual patterning , he obliged , with extra charges, but apart from that the job was kept to budget. The work was completed on time and when a slight problem occurred later with the toilet seat and bath handle he soon came to rectify it. We did not choose a shower door until after the installation which he willingly put up and then advised on how to contact Wickes when the basin’s waste plug broke. I was pleased we had Shary, who was a pleasant, obliging and competent man to instal our bathroom. I would be happy to having him do work in our house again , if we needed a new kitchen for example.

I am a bit suspicious of builders. So, I purchased & arranged for my Kitchen to be installed by Wickes. They sent Shary. He came to my home to give me estimates for the work to be carried out. I found him helpful, & easy to discuss things with. During the installation, if there was any issue, he would talk to me about it. It was a two way communication. I felt I could trust what he said. There was an unexpected, issue when he removed my old cooker. The original builders of my house, had run a 2.5mm spur from a ring main socket for the original cooker. I know this is not big enough. So, in discussion with Shary, he came up with a solution of how to run the thicker cable. We agreed a price, & he ran the cable & arranged for the electrical certificate. The end result, is a happy wife, what more can a man want.

We decided in September 2017 to do some work such as Whole kitchen, bathroom, en-suite, and putting marbles for ground floor. I asked Shahriar to come and give us a quotation. What I was impressed with him, after he went through the jobs involved, sent us an itemised quotation for each part which was self-explaining. We knew what he was planing to do with the costs. He was punctual, courteous, trustworthy, and professional. Sometimes we left him in house and he did what a trusted tradesman does.
