Steve couldn't be more accommodating at the quote process. Dawn, Shenda and the office team were great in helping me secure a date when I exchanged contracts. Danny, Daniel and Riley were with me on move day they were great. It was a stressful day and they made it smooth. The banter between the guys was brilliant. They managed to keep the lorry out of the neighbour's way too. They were recommended to me and I would recommend for sure! Thanks guys! You made a stressful day so much easier

From the day they first came around to quote to the day we completed our move, In Excess have been a real pleasure to work with. Their office staff have always been friendly and helpful...and patient when the moving dates took forever to secure! The team did a fantastic job during our '3-day move' across the country. On day 1, John, Harry and Jack cleared our house of furniture, taking great care and constantly being polite and accommodating. After completion on day 2, they returned our house contents to us on day 3. John, Harry, Chris, Riley and Geoff worked so hard and had us fully moved in before 2pm. Considering our new home has a steep driveway, they worked so hard, carrying all our belongings up the slope from the vans at the bottom! They remained cheerful despite the gradient challenges (tea helps!), they were again polite and helpful and even moved the lorry when someone needed to get past. I would recommend In Excess to anyone needing to move locally or distance!

Everything was smooth. Moving can be so stressful... the day of the move was not! The 3 guys doing our move did a wonderful job. So friendly, listened to what items were valuable to us and took care of everything. They left boxes and all the furniture in the rooms we wanted. We would highly recommend the company. They also moved a piano for us and this was also done very well. Thank you for making everything stress free.

In excess were absolutely fantastic with our house move. Shenda and the office team were accommodating and trying to find solutions when we had a couple of hurdles throughout the process. From first enquiry, the customer service and communication was excellent. They took time to understand what needed to be moved, delivered boxes and packing materials when agreed and moved everything on the day with no breakages. I love that they are a sustainable company too and refund the deposit for the cost of boxes to re-use, where other Companies would discard and charge the Earth! A brilliant service. Helpful from the start - we were needing a removals company at short notice and In-Excess were really accommodating and friendly. They packed us up quickly the day before and on moving day everything went smoothly, including not a single breakage! They were really flexible in helping us out - including in collecting the boxes once we’d finally unpacked.

From start to finish, In-Excess Removals Ltd were exceptional. The initial visit and valuation was informative and clearly explained, communication was excellent at all times. The supply of boxes, tape and bubble wrap was a bonus (they even delivered more when we ran out). But, the best part was the team we had on our moving day. They were all really friendly and helpful and remained exceptionally patient when things took longer than expected. The part-move the day before was an absolute game changer and really reduced the stress on the move day. They were quick, efficient and professional at all times. From start to finish InExcess Removals were so good. Starting from quotation through to the moving day, open, honest and professional. Moving house can be stressful but the team here made it so much easier. On the actual day of the move the team where so approachable, cared about our belongings and were quick to boot. Their quote was good value for money, and their packaging deposit scheme worked really well for us. They were also the only removals company we spoke to who included wine packaging for no extra cost! Shenda and the boys were brilliant from start to finish. We went for the packing service which saved us so much time and effort. The boys came and packed everything up on the Friday and then moved everything (and us!) on the Monday. In-Excess packed our things and moved us from Hertfordshire to Bedfordshire. Everything about the process was really smooth, from the quote (by video call) to agreeing the move date. The team in the office were really helpful and the packers and movers were very quick, efficient and friendly. Moving is always trickier for me as I have a chronic illness but the team were really understanding that I might need a quiet place to rest during the day, which was a big relief. We've moved several times in recent years using various companies, including cross-border, and In-Excess are definitely the best we have found.

In-Excess Removals Limited moved our household contents from the UK to mainland Spain. They are a very professional team and our furniture arrived safely and on time. We received regular updates from the driver and the office. We would not hesitate in recommending them for UK to EU moves.

I've used In-excess on a few occasions, as we've moved from rented into our house, then back after a refurb. They have been brilliant. After getting serval quotes for a local removal company, and filtering out "man in a van" to the extortionate, and those who added costs for everything, we finally found In-Excess Removals Ltd. The quotation process was really simple and clear, no hidden costs. A call with the team, followed by a video call walk through of the house and that afternoon we received the quotation, all costs clearly defined, what was included and what was not, was simple to follow. Their box hiring service is fantastic (and their tape actually held the boxes together!) and a great environmental initiative. On the day they arrived on time, got started straight away and by lunchtime our 3 bedroom house was all loaded up and ready to go, by 330pm that same afternoon we were in the new house, to be fair the new house was only 3 miles away. Such an amazing service, professional team, they couldn't do enough for us. The team went the extra mile with no hesitation, friendly, polite and extremely conscientious, ensuring that everything was where we needed it to be before they left. The operations team were as equally amazing, on what is possible one of the most stressful days of your life In-Excess Removals go a long way to make it easier. I would highly recommend them, its great to support local family businesses and these guys did not disappoint!

In-Excess Removals were simply brilliant. From the initial quote survey, through the whole stressful process of will we/won’t we complete, to moving day itself, they were absolutely fantastic (and very calming!). The quote (we got several) was clear and detailed, and we felt that we were in the hands of experienced professionals who know exactly what they are doing. They provided us with all of the boxes, tape, paper and bubble wrap that we needed to pack up our precious belongings. I couldn’t believe how quickly everything was loaded onto the trucks, and then unloaded at our new home, 60 miles away. Yet this was all done with such care. The guys on the day were polite, friendly and good humoured, which was lovely. They were very careful and respectful of our old home, and our new one. There wasn’t a single breakage, and all of the boxes went to exactly the right rooms. If we ever have to move again, we will be asking In-Excess to move us.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. From the initial quote, from the communication to completion, down to the packing and transport on the day - they were lovely to deal with. I felt reassured throughout the process, everyone was so friendly and we felt that our big day was in safe hands. They removed a lot of the stress that comes with moving. In-Excess recently completed our house move for us and we were delighted with their service. Their quote was competitive, they were extremely helpful throughout the move, providing boxes and materials as soon as we booked and happily answering questions whenever we thought of them. We chose to do the packing ourselves and the removals team were friendly, polite, very efficient and dissembled and reassembled our large furniture as necessary. The move went very smoothly, everything was well looked after and the boxes collected soon after we’d finished unpacking. In-Excess were recommended to us by a friend and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them ourselves.

We recently used in excess removals for our move from a four bedroom house. They provided as many packing materials as required at no extra cost which was great. The office team were also so helpful when our completion date kept changing last minute to ensure we could secure a removals team for the day we needed. The team on move day were brilliant.
