In-Excess have moved us twice in our last two moves. It was a very competitive quote and they did an excellent job. Nothing was lost or damaged, the men were professional and polite. They were more than happy to help and place everything where we wanted it. I highly recommend them and they would be my first choice should we move again. Shenda also was extremely helpful as our completion date kept changing and she was very understanding.

Fantastic service undertaken by all. From the point we had our video survey to price the job, right through to the last box lifted from the truck, the service has been exceptional. We had a difficult chain, and ended up exchanging very late on a Monday, with completion on the Tuesday. Shenda got the truck and movers booked and sorted, and the guys were there right on time. Chris and Matt were lovely fellas, who were respectful of carpets and belongings, and did a super fast and efficient job. We couldn't ask for more, and I will be recommending these guys where I can.

In-Excess Removals were recommended to me by my estate agent. They were very easy to deal with from the start and provided clear pricing. There was a fair bit of too-ing and fro-ing on my part ahead of the move to check the availability of the removal van as I was on tenterhooks for exchange/completion dates but the office team were helpful and courteous every time I called them. I decided to have the optional packing service and I'm glad I did as it was done far more quickly and efficiently the day before my move than I could have done on my own. Money well spent in my opinion! The team arrived promptly on the day and worked hard to get the van packed up quickly for my move from Hemel to Somerset. I had been warned that it was likely that they would unload the van early the next day at my new property so I was delighted that they were able to unpack it all the same afternoon and I was able to sleep in my own bed that first night rather than on the floor as I'd anticipated. Whilst not the cheapest of the two quotes I'd obtained for my move, my gut instinct told me they were the right people for the job and I'm very happy I chose to go with them and would recommend them to others.

When I knew I was going to move, I asked locally for recommendations… I am so pleased I did. InExcess, from the start to the finish, were absolutely fantastic. From the initial call for a quote right through the whole process, nothing was too much trouble, no question or query was too bothersome to answer. They, in my opinion, were very fairly priced, they offer the option of supplying boxes, which arrived soooo promptly, as did all the bubble wrap and paper. The chaps on the day were so good, respectful of the property, absolute professionals, only one piece of glass in a picture frame was broken, and that was my fault as I dropped it! 😂 they were not just efficient prior and on move day…. Once I had unpacked the boxes, they came and collected them, on the same day I called I believe it was…. From the ladies in the office who man the phones to the chap who collected the boxes and everyone in between, absolutely cracking company, would I recommend them, 💯 %. Thank you ☺️

From the moment of getting the quote, the team arrived to pack things on Tuesday and move me into the new house on Wednesday everything was stress-free. Not an easy time for anyone moving, but when there is only yourself it is even more stressful. In Excess Removals we’re a great help, they took care of packing my possessions expertly, removed unwanted furniture and quickly unloaded everything the other end. I really can't speak highly enough of the whole In-Excess removal team. From day 1 when Steve came to visit and discuss our options and the process, through to dealing with Shenda and the office, through to the final packing and moving the whole team have been brilliant. We felt totally supported by the In-Excess team and during a very stressful period trying to exchange and get final dates so we could book the removal dates with In-Excess, Shenda and her colleagues were brilliant in supporting us and helping us get the move booked and progressed. The actual removal team were polite, friendly, careful and a pleasure to have in both the old and new house. The move went very quickly and smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. Steve couldn't be more accommodating at the quote process. Dawn, Shenda and the office team were great in helping me secure a date when I exchanged contracts. Danny, Daniel and Riley were with me on move day they were great. It was a stressful day and they made it smooth. The banter between the guys was brilliant. From the day they first came around to quote to the day we completed our move, In Excess have been a real pleasure to work with. Their office staff have always been friendly and helpful...and patient when the moving dates took forever to secure! The team did a fantastic job during our '3-day move' across the country. On day 1, John, Harry and Jack cleared our house of furniture, taking great care and constantly being polite and accommodating. After completion on day 2, they returned our house contents to us on day 3. John, Harry, Chris, Riley and Geoff worked so hard and had us fully moved in before 2pm. Considering our new home has a steep driveway, they worked so hard, carrying all our belongings up the slope from the vans at the bottom! They remained cheerful despite the gradient challenges (tea helps!), they were again polite and helpful and even moved the lorry when someone needed to get past. I would recommend In Excess to anyone needing to move locally or distance!

Everything was smooth. Moving can be so stressful... the day of the move was not! The 3 guys doing our move did a wonderful job. So friendly, listened to what items were valuable to us and took care of everything. They left boxes and all the furniture in the rooms we wanted. We would highly recommend the company. They also moved a piano for us and this was also done very well. Thank you for making everything stress free.

In excess were absolutely fantastic with our house move. Shenda and the office team were accommodating and trying to find solutions when we had a couple of hurdles throughout the process. From first enquiry, the customer service and communication was excellent. They took time to understand what needed to be moved, delivered boxes and packing materials when agreed and moved everything on the day with no breakages. I love that they are a sustainable company too and refund the deposit for the cost of boxes to re-use, where other Companies would discard and charge the Earth! A brilliant service. Helpful from the start - we were needing a removals company at short notice and In-Excess were really accommodating and friendly. They packed us up quickly the day before and on moving day everything went smoothly, including not a single breakage! They were really flexible in helping us out - including in collecting the boxes once we’d finally unpacked.

From start to finish, In-Excess Removals Ltd were exceptional. The initial visit and valuation was informative and clearly explained, communication was excellent at all times. The supply of boxes, tape and bubble wrap was a bonus (they even delivered more when we ran out). But, the best part was the team we had on our moving day. Shenda and the boys were brilliant from start to finish. We went for the packing service which saved us so much time and effort. The boys came and packed everything up on the Friday and then moved everything (and us!) on the Monday. In-Excess packed our things and moved us from Hertfordshire to Bedfordshire. Everything about the process was really smooth, from the quote (by video call) to agreeing the move date. The team in the office were really helpful and the packers and movers were very quick, efficient and friendly. Moving is always trickier for me as I have a chronic illness but the team were really understanding that I might need a quiet place to rest during the day, which was a big relief. We've moved several times in recent years using various companies, including cross-border, and In-Excess are definitely the best we have found.

In-Excess Removals Limited moved our household contents from the UK to mainland Spain. They are a very professional team and our furniture arrived safely and on time. We received regular updates from the driver and the office. We would not hesitate in recommending them for UK to EU moves.

A friend recommended In Excess to me while I was doing the usual and getting quotes for a recent house move. A recommendation goes a long way in my view and In Excess did not disappoint.
