We moved house with Inexcess on 6 th December. In the days leading up to the move, they were so good as we had a very tight time frame between exchange and completion. In Excess are a family run business and I spoke to most of the people there in the days leading up to the move. They were extremely kind, helpful, informative and genuinely amazing at communicating with us at what was turning out to be a rather stressful time! When it finally all happened, the stress of moving was alleviated completely! If you pack yourself they are fab at providing materials which also reduces stress. Move day was seamless, the lads were efficient and fast at both ends, listened to where we were directing boxes to and there were no breakages. The price was very competitive too. I would highly recommend and would go with them again if I moved ( which I hope not to anytime soon though !)

I really can't speak highly enough of the whole In-Excess removal team. From day 1 when Steve came to visit and discuss our options and the process, through to dealing with Shenda and the office, through to the final packing and moving the whole team have been brilliant. We felt totally supported by the In-Excess team and during a very stressful period trying to exchange and get final dates so we could book the removal dates with In-Excess, Shenda and her colleagues were brilliant in supporting us and helping us get the move booked and progressed. The actual removal team were polite, friendly, careful and a pleasure to have in both the old and new house. The move went very quickly and smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend In-Excess to anyone moving to the Hemel\Berkhamsted area.

We cannot recommend In-Excess Removals Ltd highly enough, they did a superb job from start to finish. We were unable to exchange contracts until a day before the moving date and consequently very worried that the move date would fall through, however In-Excess could not have been more accommodating or helpful. The assessor and organiser Shenda was so helpful and professional - a real breath of fresh air. The actual move team of John, Percy and the 2 Matts were brilliant. Very well organised and fast. Finally thank you In-Excess great job and highly recommended.

I was recommended in excess by some friends as they used them only a few months before. Out of the 4 quotes we received for our house move, they were the friendliest, most helpful, and least salesman like of the companies that we spoke to! They were also cheaper! They even deliver boxes to you to use for free as long as you give them back! Shenda in the office made the whole process so much less stressful than a house move could have been! The guys on the day got straight on with the job, they were polite, professional, and speedy! I’d definitely recommend In-Excess to anyone in the herts area if they are moving house .

Excellent company to deal with from start to finish, family-run and really felt they cared. These guys slotted me in for a very last minute move. They helped make a very stressful move, far less so and were extremely sensitive to the circumstances of my move. I have now used in-excess on 3 occasions (work and other family) and can’t fault them. They did everything they said they would and even when an item got damaged they sent someone over to fix it and it’s as good as brand new now! Their price is as good as it gets as well and I will def use them again in the future for sure.

This is the 2nd time we have used In-excess, totally amazing service from the friendly initial contact, free boxes and bubble wrap as many as you need. Great competitive pricing and the lads on moving day couldn't fault them. Hard working and friendly. We had a small issue after moving day and Steve was amazing at helping out as well, 100% recommend these guys!

When I called to enquire, Louise was so helpful in organising the survey that Steve carried out with lots of useful advice. Shenda and Louise were always happy to answer my various queries and on the day, the team (Chris, Dean, John plus one more!) were just astounding in moving us in 30 degree heat whilst keeping us laughing along the way. How they managed to move some of our very heavy furniture from our third floor, I will never know. I would highly recommend them and the next time we move, we are definitely going to them!

I was very anxious about moving house but from the moment Steve Yates arrived to give estimate things became so much easier. On the day the team of three, Shenda, Jordan and Team Leader Lee took care of everything! They were very professional, yet friendly, courteous and extremely hard working. I was downsizing and the house size (plus the parking arrangements) caused several problems that I assumed could not be solved; I was so wrong, the ingenious methods they came up with to get large pieces of furniture up a very narrow staircase amazed me!!!! I would certainly recommend this company and it was nice to know that you were supporting a local family business. Thank you again In-Excess. Definitely 5-star service.

We contacted them just two weeks before our moving date as our previous removals company had let us down. They were prompt and professional and had us signed up after a zoom that afternoon at our property to gauge a quote. That afternoon we had all the packaging we required delivered and the next day everything in writing. As our moving day was a fairly big one from South to North it was performed over two days. The staff arrived on time and were very courteous and professional and nothing seemed too much trouble. Our furniture was packed safely and securely. It was taken to be stored overnight and then they arrived the next day again on time with the same professionalism and all furniture promptly and safely delivered. Both my husband and I have no hesitation in recommending this family-run removals company, they allowed our move to run smoothly and stress-free.
